Conflicting with WooCommerce Checkout Manager Pro. Any ideas on how to avoid this? I can give you login details to the site if that helps. If not will need a refund :(

Hi, is there a way to house the donation field outside the cart? Meaning, use it as the sole product without having to be inside the cart in order to take the donation. Many thanks

Hi Boris , Woocommerce doesnt allows such thing .

yeah, name your price allows it. it just costs more.

Hello , With the updated version now it works as sole product. Regards

The plugin works in multilingual installations? I have an installation of wordpress + woocommerce + WPML with two languages: Italian (primary language) and English (secondary language). In the secondary language, in the cart page, after I add the donation, the donation is added to the cart but with amount equal to zero. If I update the cart, the message “Free donation Has Been removed from your cart Because It can no longer be Purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.”

Can you give me your website URL so i can check ?

Just checked the URL you provided and it added the product with a zero value . Seems something is conflicting with the plugin. Maybe a theme option/function or another plugin

Also i got this message “Free donation has been removed from your cart because it can no longer be purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.” This is not a message from my plugin so its something from the theme or other plugins .

Try to disable any other plugin and give it a try

Regards

Hi, We run a non-profit that takes monthly donations. Do you have a way to set up automatic donations?

Thanks!

Hi, I have two questions:

A ) when I add a product to a cart (let’s say $10) and a donation (eg: $5) when I check out with PayPal it shows just one item priced $15, that is, the sum of the product+donation. Is it possible to have it separated?

B ) how can I change in the code the default donation so instead of 0 it’s 10?

Thanks!

hi Jose

A ) the plugin just adds a product on the cart when the user adds the donation so it depends how the Woocommerce treats the cart

B ) you can ask on http://www.codeable.io for Orionk , he has already done many customizations of my plugins so he might help you on this as well. Here is his direct profile page https://codeable.io/developers/orionk-k?coupon_code=AFTHLT

The link above should give you a 10$ off bonus

Let me know if you have other questions Regards

Does your plugin accomodate PayPal PRO? We are currently using Seamless Donations that seams to only handle paypal standard.

The plugin doesnt uses any additional payment option. It just adds a product (donation product) with the value that the user has entered on the donation box.

So it doesnt interferes with any payment options enabled on Woocommerce.

Let me know if you have any other questions

Regards

hi there, can this stop a sale unless a donation has been made?

Hi, Thanks for your purchase .

As for the “stop sale unless donation has been made” you can ask on http://www.codeable.io for Orionk , he has already done many customizations of my plugins so he might help you on this as well. Here is his direct profile page https://codeable.io/developers/orionk-k?coupon_code=AFTHLT

Our customer wants to add another donation button. How do we add the second donation field? It’s not showing up.

what do you mean a second ? This plugin has only one field for donation and its not possible to have 2 donations fields

The input field to put a donation amount spans across the page. How do I limit the size of that one particular field?

I also noticed that it doesn’t work if someone tries to enter a ”$” in the field. So it only works if people put a number with no dollar sign?

Thanks!

Hi Sinoun, seems your theme is making the field wider. As for the $ sign they just enter the number and not the sign/currency

Thanks, I’m aware the theme is making the field wider. How do I limit the size of that one particular field from your plugin?

Add some CSS rules to your theme/style.css for that field

How do I force the donation to be $5?

Thanks AD… what line is that on in the plugin Editor?

This one here <input type=”text” name=”ok-donation” class=”input-text” value=”<?php echo $donate;?>”/>

change to <input type=”text” name=”ok-donation” class=”input-text” value=”5”/>

Woohooo it worked!!! THanks for the help

Is it possible to show the total amount of donations on the frontend?

Hello Marijke . For the moment it doesnt show the total amount donated but you can ask for help on http://www.codeable.io and ask for Orionk there. He already did many customizations to this plugin and might help you out .

Regards

Donation button is not showing up at all. Followed documentation with no success. Website is http://www.afsvcs.org/product/donations-2/. Help needed

Hello , the “donation” product isnt to be purchased separately . Thats why we set it as hidden and not taxable and not shippable product. Please re-read the documentation since there is explained better and with screenshots.

Also i dont see anything on your website. The website just shows up blank. Not even the homepage shows . Seems you have a “comming soon plugin” enabled .

Hello I installed the plugin, and it seems to be working (I found the desired product in the drop down) but it only displays an amount of $0 with no option to enter an amount. http://cl.ly/image/473J2K0Q1p0N? WC 2.2.6 WP 4.0 Thank you Craig

Hello. I see it’s working as long as there isn’t a donation added to the cart by purchasing. I need to have a visible button to add a donation. That doesn’t seem to be possible. It also doesn’t display an option to donate unless there is something else already in the cart. Is that correct?

hi Craig, its not possible to purchase the “donation” product only. In order for the user to donate there needs to be some other products in the cart and then he can also donate or not

Let us know if you have other questions Regards

Hello , With the updated version now it works even without any other products . Regards

hi good day, thanks for your plugin. I want the donations botosn nesecidad appears without making a purchase. one box for the donande make a donation and pay.

thank you

hi Jorge. Its not possible to make donation without purchasing a product. Woocommerce do not allow that

Hello , With the updated version now it works even without any other products . Regards

I am ready to purchase this. Quick question: Can there be a description of the donation? My client is going to match all donations to Girls Inc. But we want the Girls Inc. logo and one sentence description of this.

Possible?

hi they are as normal wocoommerce products so woocommerce reporting handles them

Hi, I just purchased this. Where do I change the text: “Add a donation to your order”.

The customer wants it to say: Donate $5 to Girls, Inc. and we will match it.

I found it in the plugin editor. One more question: How do I force it to be a $5 donation?

Hi, there is conflict with WooCommerce Name Your Price plugin. If both plugins are using for donation same product then your plugin is rewriting donation amount with 0. Will be possible fix this issue? Thank you.

Hi,

I want to set up a percentage of the total sale to go towards a charity. So 5% of every sale will be donated, but I also want to give them the option to choose from 3 charities. Is this possible?

Hi rusticimports2013.

Its no possible with this plugin by default but you can request a customization so it fulfills your needs at www.codeable.io . Ask for Orionk there since he has done many cutomizations of this plugin.

Let me know if you have other questions

On the cart page:

1. Entering a donation amount is a bit confusing. I tried entering ”$10” for testing purposes, it would not add to the order. Then I simply tried “10” and it was successfully added to the cart. I think people will naturally try to enter ”$10”. Can we fix this issue?

2. How can I change the default text in the input field from “0” to “Please enter a donation amount” or maybe even ”$5”?

3. I attempted to edit the default text description from “Add a donation to your order” to a custom sentence I created, but this causes an error and deactivates the plugin. Can we fix this issue as well?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi Marvin and thanks for purchasing the plugin.

1) In most cases people do not enter the currency sign in text boxes since sometimes its an easy $ , sometimes they write USD and other times ( most of times) there are other currencies that do not have a symbol and are not on the keyboard . So entering just the amount is the better option

2) The plugin is translatable so you can use the PO/MO files or as on www.codeable.io for Orionk and he will help you out ( non free service)

3) same as 2nd point

Let me know if you have any other questions

I will wait to see how customers respond before addressing #1 again. I have found how to edit #2 and #3 myself.

I’d also like to remove some of the fields in the Billing Details. Can you point me in the right direction where to make the changes?

Is there a way to add more than one donation item? I’d like to show three donations to give the users the choice to pick one or two or even all. Please advise. Thanks!

OK. Do you have a recommendation of how I can do this? A different plugin, perhaps?

Maybe you can add 3 different products ( 5$ , 10$ , 15$ ) so they can purchase those . And also a 4th product that would be the sum of the other 3 products

I actually need something they can enter the amount whatever amount it is. Because you see, it is for three separate funds and it has to be on the same page. :-/

Hello.

Before I purchase, would it be possible to hide the donate button if there are certain products in the cart?

Hi Garret , this feature is not available . Regards
