When these descriptions are used by your module to create the metatags, the special chars in my descriptions html code get another html conversion too, which makes the description unreadable.

- URL is not standard SEO, always showing ID object in URL. It is very important !- Does not support to manage, redirect 404 URL (URL is not found). 1. You cannot update the product meta tags per supplier . We may implement this feature in the future .
2. Please select the categories in the widget just on the top of the input field for the meta fields for product .

URGENT: After installed, your extension crashed my live store. It wants to redirect to language subfolder (www.store.com/en ) and create an infinite loop. I need support now.

It’s alright, Just a suggestion. I’ll write HT next to the price. Very usefull feature thought. When changing a price, does it update, or do we have to rewrite metas ?
Once you create the meta tags then they become static ! Therefore you would need to run the module to generate the meta tags again . If I were you , I would use ” price starting from xxx” remember it’s all about attracting more customers !

Hi, I bought your Seo manager (my purchase code 3f830f79-ef04-4490-83e4-8ff17b2db9bb). I uploaded zip file to my e-shop (Prestashop v1.6), but it didn’t appear in modules list. Am I missing something?

I am very interested in your module but have a few questions.
1) Does the module have any built-in 301 redirect capability?
I will explain further. Client is migrating from different shopping cart system into prestashop. I have all the category & product urls list from old system, I would like to setup a 301 redirect to the new category & product urls. Yes, I am aware this can be done via .htaccess but prefer if I could simply add within your module.
2) When client changes or deletes in prestashop categories and products,would like to also setup 301 redirects.
3) Does your module support Google snippets, we are using a themeforeset theme for presetashop that is suppose to support google snippets but would prefer all in one package.

2) Good feature. I will add it to my roadmap.
3) Prestashop 1.6 comes with the native support of the Google Rich snippets. I’m not even sure you could deactivate it. Therefore it is not in our plan to do it again. It is probably lot of hassle to remove the existing ones. Nevertheless we have already prepare a Google Rich Snippets module for Prestashop 1.5 and it will be available in December.

I have a few further suggestions & questions.
1) Multiple clients are local within a metroplex. It would be great if you included the shortcode option within the meta data for local ecommerce for prestashop.
Example Meta Data, (City) (State) (Zip Code). One product title might be: (product name) (business name) in (city).
Same concept for categories and even CMS pages. When clients are in metrolplex there are multiple cities so would not want to be restricted to only one city and one zip code within the store.
2) What is your roadmap for new releases?

2) I can’t disclose the roadmap. I try to provide a new version every 2 weeks though. January will be a great month for huge release as I’m already testing 3 versions ahead with various versions of PS. It is a lot of work even for a single module.

I would like to follow up about the local insertion OR could be used for non local aspects as well. I will supply the concepts and perhaps you can figure out how to implement and include within your module.
The problem with most seo modules, they don’t include to insert data within other fields besides the meta data and if they do all the data becomes the same per page or per category. nothing unique to generate rankings from the long tail theory.
Some of these items maybe already included and if they are please correct and let me know. T
1) Generate XML sitemap.
2) Insert data (i.e. local city, state, brand, etc) of H1 and H2 tags headings within category and product pages (i.e headline & sub-headline).
3) Insert data (i.e. local city, state, brand, etc)) of text links within descriptions within category and product pages. example of text link: “Product Brand Type in City” which link takes to product brand page OR single product page.
4) Insert additional data in (i.e local city, state, brand, etc) in the Footer section of the site.
5) Have data shown for specific product tags. I will give example, suppose you click on the “birthday gift” tag which does a search on the site and will appear in Google, etc, the problem, there’s no data for that specific page. There should be all data optimized for “birthday gift” including additional block content, meta,h1 and h2, alt images, etc.

Great advice. We are already looking at how to integrate all those aspects to our module. Features like Sitemap generation or micro data are native to Prestashop 1.6. Keep an eye on our item. Hopefully you will see all the new features coming very very soon.

I wrote a Google rich snippets micro data module for prestashop 1.4 and 1.5 couple of years ago . It’s not a secret any more that the implementation of the Google rich snippets micro data is wrong with Prestashop . It is not their fault . In fact the specification keeps changing .
You should be able to fix it in your theme . Please send me your screenshots at contact@onasus.com and I will come back to you with a fix as soon as possible .

Great Plugin ! I have a little problem thoough.
I have set 3 differents index description for my 3 languages.
The tags look goog in the front end, but in the back end, it only keeps the last language updated (same code for every language).
Is that normal ?

I bought the seo manager and had a question about something I just found. I just searched for a product we have online and found the reference to the product displays incorrectly. The title is actually the url for the category. I followed the product and looked at the source. Is this module duplicating the description, title, etc. or overwriting it? Look at the souce from the example and the attachment.

When I look at http://www.flyclothing.com/babies/The-Clash-First-Album-Onesie.html, the meta description tag contains the parent category name but also a reference number but not the link of the parent category. It all looks normal to be.
There is an option to override or not the meta tags for the products. By default the module doesn’t override the meta tags for the product pages.

I just see the picture you sent via email. The title displayed in Google search result page is different from the actual product description. Indeed Google does not take the changes into account over night. You could notify Google by using Google Webmaster tool. For your information, Google displays up to 160 characters from the meta description field. When this tag is too short Google decides itself the text to display. It if often disappointing for the webmaster as it is not always relevant to the content.
Here is my advice. From now, please submit your sitemap.xml document to Google with Webmaster tool then wait few days and you should see an improvement.
