I have purchased this to display my Vimeo albums. But when I try to load an album using the Vimeo API on this page I get this error: “Failed playlist selection! No playlist with id: playlist9”.
I have tried to follow the documentation as closely as possible. Can you please help?
Also, there seems to be some conflict on the page as the background is supposed to be white. Can this be fixed?

I think you need to have
div id='playlist9' data-address="playlist9"
instead of ul node which you have.
For the body color, open css file, at the top and remove background-color:#222; on the body.

No, demo files you get in the package are on my server. Something is wrong with vimeo setup from the help file or maybe file organization.

V2 works as you can see from the demo pages and will continue to work for a while. You can get more details about youtube deprecation policy on their webpages. No code ever gets deprecated without being given a long time transition period.

Hello! You only changed javascript setting. This will not change css. Some demos are different in css and html as well. You have many demos included, if you want vertical layout start with demo that already has vertical layout.

There is no limit on that. However, its not a good idea to have such big number of videos in the playlist at once. But you can always add/remove them on runtime with player api for performance.

Last vimeo api works normally. In fact, their new api they just released is still very new and it will take some time before it gets polished like the old one is.

My question related to the prior comments on this thread. I have the vimeo plug in and am considering the Html5 gallery plugin which does not support Vimeo. Can I use both plugins and call the vimeo playlist from the gallery plugin thereby making the gallery plugin to work with Vimeo?
Examples 4-10 of this gallery come up asking for Flash. Only the first three examples support HTML5. I would buy otherwise.

Hi there, I purchased your player and on my page I have a list of Vimeo albums. I’m trying to figure out how to change the activePlaylist property when I click on each individual album. For example, if I click on Album 1 I’d like activePlaylist to be ‘playlist1’, but different playlist values for each album.
I don’t want to re-load the whole player each time though, I made a modification so the albums are listed the ‘playlistHolder’. I’d appreciate it if you could help me. Thanks.

Ok. So I have two follow up questions/concerns.
1 – The player API is not visible in the index._buttons.html page. I checked and it’s set to display:none. I tried changing the css but still can’t see it. Is there a property to change this?
2 – Say I want to list a series of names and when I click on a name another playlist is loaded. I found the line that does that <li><a href="#" onclick="hap_player.loadMedia('playlist15'); return false;">load playlist 1</a></li>. How do I include this in the player? Which activePlaylist should I choose?

I purchased your code a few weeks ago to play my Vimeo private videos on my website. I followed the instructions that came with the code to configure Vimeo’s Advanced API. I cannot get a private single video to play on my site. I am able to play the videos which came in the _deploy folder but when attempt to play my videos, I only get the loading graphic. I have vimeo_data.php included in my header, I also verified my data-path is correct. All of my key’s and tokens are correct. Is there something I am missing?

I noticed that the function _processVimeoSingle does not use the vimeo_data.php code, but _processVimeoComplex does. I tried to use this function to load a single video Private video but there was still information missing for vimeo_data.php to execute. What triggers the use of the function _processVimeoComplex? Do you have any examples where you loaded Vimeo private videos into this player?

Does the jquey/javascript interface allow for the sending of just 1 youtube ID to the plugin instead of using data- embedded in the html playlist? i.e. ie is there a property in the object that I can use for this? I’d prefer to keep the html clean and not mix data and html.

Yes, you can set activePlaylist setting to empty string, then use player api to load video of your own after component has been inited (also available in the api callbacks)
