Hello I’ve been noticing that the plugin supports up to woocommerce 2.1.x’m currently using version 2.2.8, it works normally.
Items description needs to be updated but yes is is compatible with Wocommerce 2.2. But, this account doesn’t show that you have purchased the item?

Hi,
It really depends on how the sorting plugin is coded. In theory it should work fine but can’t say for sure. Also, in regards to the widget, if you are actively using the pretty URLs for the filters, then the widget needs to be active/displayed as the pretty URLs are generated on the fly depending on which filters are available to be selected.

The plugin comes with its own layered navigation widget that allows you to have URL such as categoryname/filter1/fitler2 (e.g. thsirts/small/black). These URLs are generated on the fly when a page is loaded with the layered navigation present. If you have hard coded these URLs somewhere but are not using the layered navigation widget then the URL will result in a 404.

Depends on how your using them together to be honest. There is potential for both plugins to conflict if you use both for Woocommerce. But if you disable the functionality in the other plugin for Woocommerce (if the option is available) then it should be OK.
I haven’t heard about many problems so i can only assume that users have got both working fine.

No they will not. The SEO plugin has its own layered navigation widget that needs to be used to get the friendly URLS. All other layered navigation plugins/widget will not have been created to take the friendly URL into account.

I purchased this plugin a little while ago, I must report… I could not be any more happy! It really is a great plugin.
That being said, for the layered navigation widget, I am adding quite a few filters.
- Is it possible to make so that widget area can collapse for individual filter groups
Example Filter Group: “Select Color (collapse or expand)” Black, Red, Blue, 15 more colors in list of filters. .. .. .. ..
Would be great if we could make each widget Collapse or Expand I hope that makes sense.

Glad you like it. Its is possible to do what you want, but it wont be part of the plugin as its functionality that not everyone would want/need. But it can be easily achieved with a bit of jQuery with touching the plugin code itself.

Possible to add images to the navigation filters?
I’m interested in putting the widget at the top of the page with some images of product filters.
Instead of the widget in the side bar, I’d like to do one horizantally at the top of the product archive with images.
Can you custom make something like that?

Working on it as i type Found a few other little issue that need to be resolved too so the fix will be in the next update.
That’s great news, any idea when you’ll release the next update? I’ve also noticed an issue regarding the filters. If you click on a filter it’s missing a slash (/) so come on a page that doesn’t exist. For example you get: example.comproduct-category/filter1 instead of example.com/product-category/filter1 I’m not sure if I’m the only one with this problem.
Working on the update but can fix a release date and other things seem to some up that take time away from this. The issue with the slash is a new one. Can you check what your site URL is set to (i.e. with or without a slash at the end). If there is no slash, add one at the end and see if that fixes it and let me know.
Adding a slash to the end didn’t work, it messed up the website.
Did you refresh you permalinks after adding the slash? To do this simply click save in Settings > Permalinks
Hi. I just bought this plugin. It doesn’t remove the ‘product-category’ base for me. It’s quite strange… When I select ‘remove product category base’ nothing happens. Then if i unselect it, it DOES remove the product category base… Great this is what I wanted even though this thing works when you select, then unselect it (quite strange) – but unfortunately it ends up messing up my blog posts. I get a 404 for all blog posts. The only way to fix this and get it back to normal is to refresh my permalinks (hit save settings). Not sure what to do.
Hmm, That is very weird. First time i’m hearing of such a problem. What if you enable the setting (so the product category base is removed) and then refresh your permalinks? Also, do you have any caching plugin as that will effect the permalinks too.
Would love to override all breadcrumbs with yours. The other breadcrumbs (yoast & woocommerce) just suck.
Is there any way to do this?
For Woocommerce, simply turning on the Woocommerce SEO breadcrumbs will override it. For Yoast, i believe there is also an option to disable breadcrumbs in the plugins settings.

The plugin doesn’t do this specifically but if i remember correctly you don’t need a plugin to do this as there is a setting in Woocommerce (in the permalinks i think) and will allow you to add/remove the parent categories in the URL.

Hi, I just realised that Google isn’t indexing my product pages properly, at least that’s what it looks like. When I submit my sitemap to google webmaster tools it only indexes 88 pages out of 275. I have purchased this plugin but am struggling a bit with the configuration.
It seems that woocommerce is setting all the product pages to no-index, but I can’t see a setting. I have tried using this plugin and configured it for one product, but it doesn’t seem like it has made a difference. Exactly what settings do I need to change to ensure that these product pages are visible to google indexing?

The plugin has an option to no index a product within the product edit page inside the SEO tab. However, there is no option to no index all products in one go. Are you sure the no index meta tag i present in the HTML?
I have just done a google search for my company name and the product name and it has come through, so that means that is being indexed right? But if you look at the google result, it doesn’t look right. It doesn’t seem to be picking up the main body of the description, and is jumping to the text at the bottom.
I’m not too sure to be honest. That sound like a completely separate issue and is unrelated to the plugin.

Hi, Not too sure why the email didn’t come through. The SEO options for products are in the product edit page under the SEO tab. There will be 2 checkboxes there to no index and no follow that particular product.

The plugin will add and new tab called SEO im Woocommerce > settings and in the product edit page in the product data section. Can you see either one of them?

It’s needs to be done for each one. Out of curiosity, why would you want to no index all products? One way to do it would be to add a function into your themes function.php file to check if you on a product page and output the relevant meta tags. Hopes that helps.
Reason why we want to no index all products is because they are all almost the same just slightly different spec, so dont want hundreds of duplicate content. We index the category pages for SEO purposes. Ok we have an issue. http://www.upvcdoorshop.com/product/aberdeen-vougue-upvc-front-door/ installed module ticked no index and no follow, but on the page in source code, see no sign of no index in the code? also we did automated sitemap generator and it picked up and crawled all the pages?
I’m a little confused. The meta tag is showing, When i view source of that page i see: <META NAME=”ROBOTS” CONTENT=”NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW”>
