Hi James. Thank you for using the plugin and I’m sorry for this issue. Yes, it’s most likely a jQuery conflict. In your page you’re using another carousel that uses the same source script as mine, so they might be conflictual. Another thing is that a javascript file in your theme has some errors, so this could also be the reason. These theme errors occur even on other pages, so they are not caused by my plugin, but they will interfere on how the carousel works. You can see the error using your browser console to see the errors in the custom.js file of your theme. One of these is probably the cause for the carousel not to work. If you’ve fixed the theme errors and removed the other carousel and the issue still persists let me know. Greetings, Carlos

Hi! Thank you for purchasing the plugin. The file you download from codecanyon (the zip file), is the file you need to upload. Often on download, when you open the file, it will self extract and what you are trying the upload is the extracted folder and not the zip file. Hi! Thank you for using the plugin! It seems your page loads content via ajax when navigating inside the website. This way of loading doesn’t seem to be triggering the necessary javascript to get the carousel to work. When loading the page directly, this issue does not occur. One simple solution would be to switch off the ajax loading feature from your theme. But it’s also possible to make some small code adjustments to have it work also. Tried using the carousel setting, and if I preview in the shortcodes window it does work but when I place the widget in the home page it does not show any logos at all.

Hi! Thank you for using the plugin. I’ve opened the link and the logos seem fine. Did you manage to fix the issue in the meantime? I’ve tried with Chrome and Firefox. It could be that the size in the settings was changed after the images were uploaded so they get scaled. Usually re-uploading the logos solves the issue. There’s one logo that seems cropped badly. Hi Tim! Thank you for using the plugin. Possibly it’s just missing a shortcode argument. Make sure you have set the shortcode to have the links active. Hi Carlos, I had version 1.2.9.2 but i have just upgraded to the latest version and the shortcode generator doesn’t automatically render anymore when the options are changed and i still cannot see where to have the Name of the slide as a Caption on top on the slide itself. Please help.

Hi! It’s possible that your browser has the old javascript file for the generator cached. Make sure to empty your browser cache or try a different browser. If the problem persists write me a message via the contact form on my profile. In the new version there’s an option to ‘Show Info Below’ in the shortcode generator. Unfortunately there isn’t an option to display info above yet. Basically you just need to add to your existing shortcode the parameter

Hi Emiel. Thank you for using the plugin. Yes, unfortunately the current version is not translation ready, so you’ll have to edit the code. Since it’s a custom post type, some expressions will be translated automatically if you have a french installation of WP. The strings are all in the lshowcase.php file. The save label for example is in this line:

You can translate the word ‘Logos’ in the plugin settings page, and the rest of the labels will be in these lines:

The file you need to upload is the one you download from codecanyon, which is a ZIP file. Once you unzip that file you get those files inside, but it’s the main file that you’ve downloaded that you need to upload. Hi! Thank you for your interest! The current version of the plugin doesn’t have a vertical slider option, but the carousel code used is capable of having a vertical slider. So to achieve it one would just need to change one line of code in a particular file:

mode: 'horizontal',

to

mode: 'vertical',

Hi! Thank you for using the plugin! Sorry for the late reply. I see you are using the carousel layout, but with no auto scroll, and no controls, so the slides don’t move. Was this done on purpose? You could use the responsive 3 columns and 4 columns grid and it should work better. Could you check if these settings would work better? If you want to keep these settings, you can try changing the css of the carousel, to remove the 5px padding from the class:

.lshowcase-logos .bx-wrapper {
    position: relative;
    padding: 0 5px; 
    *zoom: 1;
}

from the file bxslider/jquery.bxslider.css. Check if these are the extra 5px padding that are getting cut off. If the problem persists let me know. Greetings, Carlos

Correct, the other plugin doesn’t have a carousel option unfortunately. I don’t have any working example of custom css that would achieve what you describe with the logos showcase unfortunately. I’m sorry for this limitation.

But do you think, that I could achieve what I want through custom css?

I believe you would also probably need some javascript code. Not sure it would be possible only by adding CSS. At least not without changing the source files a bit.

1. The most recent version is 1.4
2. The best way to update the plugin would be to replace the files via FTP.
3. The best would be to avoid minifying the files, specially if you’re using the carousel layout (particularly the jquery.bxslider.js file). But in case you really want to, the best would be after the body, in the footer. Check if disabling the minify for the that file solves the issue on android.

Hi! Thank you for using the plugin. The grayscale version won’t work in the browsers that don’t support css filters. Among them indeed IE10, but it should work on Firefox. I wrote a short info about this here. Try to update the content of the styles.css of the plugin, with the latest version that you can find here. I’m sorry for this limitation.
