I’d like to buy the Fast Gallery plugin but I want to be sure of one thing – will users be able to right-click (or control-click) and be presented with a menu item such as “Save image as…” that will allow the user to download the image. And also have this available after the user clicks on the image and it’s enlarged in a lightbox.

is possible only when you have lightbox because in grid or masonry layout is not possible because there is a overlay image.

everything is perfect now – there were some issues in my theme.
you are using live function in frontend.js file this function don’t work with latest jquery version. please talk to your developer to please check it.

It’s a good idea for add this features in new version.
The shortcodes is generate automatically of wordpress (editor text and you can see the shortcodes code)

in wp default settings the contributor user not have available a WP Media, so if don’t add this wp media for contributor user this user can’t upload image.
For author user wp media is available and so this user can upload image and create a gallery.

Fixed it.
I changed the structure of the way it called it, instead of trying to pass a function, I separated the function into its own declaration and passed the function name into add_action.
