Hi, I have activate plugin, but can’t see the Plugin on left toolbar. Why??

Hi, I checked again, jCountdown works fine on wp 3.9.1 so can you please try to install jCountdown to a clean wp site? because I think maybe one of your other plugin broke it

Ok now work. The problem is the plugin of mailjet. I’ve deleted this and now work correctly. Thank you!!

you’re welcome, have a nice day

Is there any possibility I can have the code to make this an evergreen countdown (so there is never an ending but it is always a new set time for each visitor)?

Hope thats possible.

sorry, for now, no, but thanks for your feedback

hi i have a couple of questions if i may

01. is it easy to make this counter responsive? just now it isn’t which isn’t the best solution as the site I am working on has to be :/]

02. can the layout be further customised easily? i am looking to do something like this if possible:

i have managed to change the colour of the numbers as well as the font used to display them but think the label text would be better as HTML and placed above the numbers?

the counter works great btw!

Hi,
1) please paste these example scripts in your site to test
<style>
    #small_countdown{
        position:relative;
    }
    #large_countdown{
        position:relative;
    }
    @media screen and (max-width:1000px){
        #small_countdown{
            left:0px;
        }
        #large_countdown{
            left:-10000px;
        }
    }
    @media screen and (min-width:1000px){
        #small_countdown{
            left:-10000px;
        }
        #large_countdown{
            left:0px;
        }
    }
</style>

<div id="small_countdown" style="text-align: center;">[jcountdown timetext="2014/11/29 18:32:3" timezone="8" style="flip" color="white" width="300" textgroupspace="15" textspace="0" reflection="true" reflectionopacity="10" reflectionblur="0" daytextnumber="3" displayday="true" displayhour="true" displayminute="true" displaysecond="true" displaylabel="true" onfinishredirecturl=""]2014/11/29 18:32:3[/jcountdown]</div>

<div id="large_countdown" style="text-align: center;">[jcountdown timetext="2014/11/29 18:32:3" timezone="8" style="flip" color="white" width="600" textgroupspace="15" textspace="0" reflection="true" reflectionopacity="10" reflectionblur="0" daytextnumber="3" displayday="true" displayhour="true" displayminute="true" displaysecond="true" displaylabel="true" onfinishredirecturl=""]2014/11/29 18:32:3[/jcountdown]</div>

2) basically you can change lots style setting via jCountdown panel, and all source psd files was included, so you can change more style details in your photoshop or css/js file in your text editor if you want

Hi, seems wordpress 3.9 made some change and make it wrong, but don’t worry, you just need to embed this js file on your site to fix it

Hello,

I wanted to know how easy is that to add the plugin to the home page or to every product page in my WP site if i have only html skills ?

Thank you

Hi, after you installed this plugin in your WP, you can create the countdowns via panel, so it’s very easy to use, please check the preview page http://codecanyon.net/item/-jcountdown-mega-package-for-wordpress/full_screen_preview/3545492 and scroll down to see the panel, and you can add the shortcode to your “Post”, “Page” or “Sidebar (with text widget”) to add the countdown

hey there, having a few problems, i am using salient, which is a very popular theme, and there seems to be a conflict > http://www.sandancedubai.com/

please let me know thanks

Hi, jCountdown should works fine with most template file, maybe you can send me your site URL here http://codecanyon.net/user/ufoufoufo so I can check your site to help you

Is it possible to install the jcount shortcode into the wordpress template?

Hi, basically you can add the shortcode in any POST or Sidebar(with text widget)

I am wanting to use the countdown timer in conjunction with gravity forms. The form has page breaks (in Gravity form speak) where multiple questions are grouped together, the user then clicks next to move to the next group of questions. When the user clicks Next, the page reloads with the next questions displayed. Will this result in the timer being reset to the starting value, or will it continue to coutdown as they move through the questions?

Hi, I’m not sure what you mean, but as you can see, basically you just need to set a target date/time to make the countdown count to it

Hi,

how can i translate the text under the buttons? “days” “hours” minutes sec? i need them to be in romanian.

Hello!!

I bought your plugin and everything is ok but when i click on Create Shortcode.. NOTHING APPEARS like your demo.. why??

My wordpress version is 3.8.1.

Thanks a lot

hi, it should works in 3.8.1, so maybe you can send me your site URL here http://codecanyon.net/user/ufoufoufo so I can check that’s problem is

Is there any comeback on the query above? I am quite keen to get this issue sorted.

My website url is ipswichhalfmarathon.com

Hi, i’m not sure what you mean, seems everything works fine, can you tell me more details

Hi there,

I bought this plugin and am using it on a responsive website. I copied the code which you replied to another post on how to make a smaller slider appear when viewed on a mobile:

<style> @media screen and (min-width: 600px) { .full_size_countdown{ display:block; } .small_size_countdown{ display:none; } } @media screen and (max-width:599px) { .full_size_countdown{ display:none; } .small_size_countdown{ display:block; } } </style> <div class="full_size_countdown"> put your shortcode here </div> <div class="small_size_countdown"> put your shortcode here </div>

However, on Internet Explorer, both countdowns appear when viewed at full size. What code would I need to add to make sure the smaller countdown is hidden on Internet Explorer?

Hi, Can we easily translate this widget in another language? I want to move the words “days, hours, etc. ...” in French, is this possible? Séverine

Hi, all source psd files was included, so you can change the label text to any text you want in photoshop

you’re welcome

Hi. Everything seems to be working well except the countdown won’t resize, even though I chose FIXED and changed the width to 380. It’s still very large on the page:

http://www.starskyandhutch.info/2014/#/2014/announcing/

Thank you for helping me…

I had to move it to this page. It should be half the size you’re seeing it there, but it won’t resize.

http://www.starskyandhutch.info/2014/#/2014/countdown/

Hi, it should because your theme is dynamic load page content and load with the animation, but that might conflict some scripts inside the your content, so please try to add the jcountdown_shortcode to a page that is not dynamic load content or disable the animation

Any plans to make this responsive? It looks wonky on mobile and tablet.

Hi,

you can add some simple CSS setting to make it responsive, try to paste these script in your page

<style>
    #small_countdown{
        position:relative;
    }
    #large_countdown{
        position:relative;
    }
    @media screen and (max-width:1000px){
        #small_countdown{
            left:0px;
        }
        #large_countdown{
            left:-10000px;
        }
    }
    @media screen and (min-width:1000px){
        #small_countdown{
            left:-10000px;
        }
        #large_countdown{
            left:0px;
        }
    }
</style>

<div id="small_countdown" style="text-align: center;">[jcountdown timetext="2014/11/29 18:32:3" timezone="8" style="flip" color="white" width="300" textgroupspace="15" textspace="0" reflection="true" reflectionopacity="10" reflectionblur="0" daytextnumber="3" displayday="true" displayhour="true" displayminute="true" displaysecond="true" displaylabel="true" onfinishredirecturl=""]2014/11/29 18:32:3[/jcountdown]</div>

<div id="large_countdown" style="text-align: center;">[jcountdown timetext="2014/11/29 18:32:3" timezone="8" style="flip" color="white" width="600" textgroupspace="15" textspace="0" reflection="true" reflectionopacity="10" reflectionblur="0" daytextnumber="3" displayday="true" displayhour="true" displayminute="true" displaysecond="true" displaylabel="true" onfinishredirecturl=""]2014/11/29 18:32:3[/jcountdown]</div>

Would I have to do this every time I create a new page? Is there a way to do this dynamically?

Hi, the jCountdown was not only make for responsive design, so you need do add a little CSS setting (if you want to make it responsive)

Good day! Is it possible to make font of clock bold or strong? Its hard to see when its small

Hi, all source psd files was included, so you can change it in your photoshop, but you need to have some basic photoshop knowledge, to know more details, please check the help file

Hi, I installed the plugin, pasted the shortcode into a page, but it doesnt show up… I checked the console, there is one error:
