Hi,
Thank you! Yes, you can use a tooltip on the image, you can find examples which shows that in live preview: http://quanticalabs.com/script/css3-tooltips-for-wordpress/7416713

Hi,
I’m very unhappy with the ENVATO experience since 6 years that Im here, It is possible to buy this item from another place?
Thanks Thanatermesis
Hi,
As exclusive author, I’m selling this plugin only here on CodeCanyon.
Hi there: I was trying to get a tooltip that would work on an image map. (tried this earlier with another plugin that is now not supported). As an alternative approach, I cut the image into sections to fit into a table. There are now 11 separate images. So wanted to verify that I could create a tooltip that could be triggered by each image, and the tooltip could contain a thumbnail and 2-3 paragraphs of text.?
Thank you! Connie
Hi,
Yes, you can see in live preview: http://quanticalabs.com/wp_plugins/css3-tooltips/ that tooltip could work with images and paragraphs.
Thank you; I will definitely try this.
Oh my goodness, there was quite an unexpected issue with this plugin. When it was turned on, EVERY page showed only html code for the page content. Did all my upgrades and backups so everything was up to date prior to trying this out. Also turned off all other plugins (except the maintenance plugin I have on while doing this work, and tried a default theme. Ours is a custom theme but not complex.. . . so it’s a bit of a mess. Have you ever seen this and can you advise any other steps that can be taken? Is there any known compatibility issues with your plugin? If I turn it off then site is restored. I sure do want to use this. Thankyou
I played around with the settings and that was indeed the issue! (at least for the page content to show properly). Just wanted to say that I am finally making progress and will report back if there are any browser issues. Do you have a guide for usage? I ask since I will need something for the client and will create one if you don’t have anything. cheers!
Please check documentation for some guide videos. If you would like to get a help on any issue, please use our Support Forum. Thank you!
Pre-purchase questions: 1- any chance this would work with an image map? 2- can the content contain several paragraphs for the tooltip itself? Thank you!
1. Could you describe in other words what effect would you reach?
2. Yes, please check ‘pulvinar’ word in ‘Support For HTML tags’ section – http://quanticalabs.com/wp_plugins/css3-tooltips/
Almost ready to buy this, but one other important question : how about to style the text content? Colors, italics/bold, paragraphs, space lines, background color, include images with text, etc… and is it possible to not have this kind of issue, when there is lot of text, like we can see here : http://i.minus.com/jrBRauZ0HVHBj.jpg
You can style your text with css code and you can add a scrollbar if you have a lot of text. Please create a topic on our Support Forum after purchase and we will help you to do that.
No, thank you. I prefer a wysiwyg editor.
You can of course prepare you text in a wysiwyg editor and then paste it into tooltip content area.
Ok, it is more interesting. Maybe an update on your live preview webpage would be good. Because you show many examples of tooltips, too much examples, but all the texts in the tooltips are always in the same font color/type, and always typed on a single line only (there are no line spaces, no paragraphs, etc).
Or a screenshot like mine, this would be good also. We have many tooltips to put on our website, and it’s ok if we have to copy/paste from tinyMCE the raw html into the shortcode of your plugin (if I understand well). But an example should be good for your next buyers.
Thank you for your thought. There are few simple examples with images, videos and also with html tags, so as you can see you can use any content inside tooltip (paragraphs, lines spaces etc. as well).
No problem, your work is one of the best I found. But there is a difference between to imagine and to see it in action. Even if I could style the text content in theory, nothing guarantees it will work in practical.
We would like to have ability to create some tootlips like the one I given previously ( http://i.minus.com/jrBRauZ0HVHBj.jpg ), but you do not even provide one single example. Is that so difficult to update your live preview page? And if there is too much text without a scrollbar, it’s not a problem, I can join your support after.
You’ll be able to do what you need. You can even edit examples live using some browser tool like Firebug. I’ll add a section with some extended examples in live preview soon.
Really soon?
I’ll update the preview tomorrow with a new example, I was on holidays for 2 weeks, so I haven’t been able to do that yet. I’ll write you a comment when this will be ready.
Please check ‘pulvinar’ word in Support For HTML tags section – http://quanticalabs.com/wp_plugins/css3-tooltips/
Hi,
I just purchased this plugin which I think is very cool.
But I am having issues adding images to the tooltips because the popup window that shows the media library cannot scroll down. I have tried everything please i need your support urgently.
Thanks

ok
Thanks
Can you please add a left or right sidebar on demo page, so we can see if tooltips are cutted in the edge frontier between the side bar and the main content (when resizing browser window or not), or if the tooltip resize automatically.
Tooltips won’t be cutted in the edge of content area, They may be in some responsive views as there is no auto resize implemented (because it’s css3 item). But you can set appropriate position for tooltip in settings.
Even if we set position, the fact is a word is not always at the same side or edge from one to another visitor, depending of the screen resolution. So what’s the interest? I do not see how this application is useful…
In this case you’ll need to set top or bottom tooltip position to prevent such an behaviour.
Hi, is there a direct (advanced) TinyMCE integration, so we can select a premade tooltip saved before (near the classic TinyMCE icons, bold, italic, etc), and don’t have to manually type a shortcode for each word we want?
And what is the new feature text to tooltip conversion? How does it work?
Also, the tooltips are beautiful, but the autopositioning does not work. For example, if a word is at the right extreme side, the tooltip could be not visible if set to be also at the right side (especially for big text content in tooltip). Do you plan to work on automatic positonning of tooltip, depending of the available space on the screen? For example, if I resize the browser window, the tooltip could switch from the right side to the left, etc.
Hi,
Yes, there is TinyMCE integration, please check the sample video: http://www.screenr.com/OsdN
Tooltip conversion will allow you to convert all links to tooltips (title attribute will be used in tooltip cloud) or to convert some word/phrase to tooltip in each place on your site. Tooltip position can be set in settings, as this is css item, I’m not able to add automatic positioning.
any chances of using this to auto replace keywords in any post or page with a tooltip e.g. replace all instances of say “hello” with a tooltip?
Yes, we’ll add this feature in next update (in a few days).
Hi,
We’ve just added an update. The newest version – v1.2 supports text to tooltip conversion.
heheheheheh – well done time to buy
??? not sure how this works – trick would be to have ab amdin screen that you add a “text to be replaced” e.g. replace all terms “groups” found on any page with tooltip “blah blah b;ah”
Please go to Settings->CSS3 Tooltips you’ll find there replace options. In case of any questions/issues, please use our Support Forum to get help. Thank you!
Yes I am there, but that would only allow you to replace one word? How would you manage multiple terms to be replaces?
Globally only one word/phrase replacement is available. If you would like to replace more different words, you need to do that in content editor.
I left some comments for you on forum. Wanted to ask if you could put links inside of your tooltips. If so, could you write out the html for me. I could just make a basic hyperlink using the standard wp tools but would like to have that ability in tooltips. Thanks. I have been using your plugin for several days now and so far so good!

Thank you! Please post all your questions on the forum and we’ll answer there.
Hi,
Very nice however as I can see it’s not responsive. When I reduce de size of my browser, some tooltips are not viewable. You should add automatic display when no position is selected, that way the tooltip could appear over, under, left or right depending where the keyword is placed on a page to be sure we’ll be able to see it.
A question.. Do we need to add a shortcode for each tooltip or is it possible to create a tooltip for a particular word and the tooltip will be viewable for this keyword on every page of the site automatically?
Hi,
Thank you for your thoughts! You can set position for each tooltip individually, so it will be visible on each screen resolution. That depends on your site layout.
You can set global conversion for all links. But for particular word is not possible.
Hi,
We’ve decided to add word to tooltip conversion. It will be available from next version, we’ll release it in few days.
Hi,
We’ve just added an update. The newest version – v1.2 supports text to tooltip conversion.
Hey!
Nice work!
Thanks!
Doh! This looks epic but none of the buttons click in the modal popover/admin….
Ie: click tooltip position options. Nothing. (you get rollovers tho) click to create short code and….. Nothing! Aw man, buzzkill.
Clicking the info “i” does give you the styles… trippy.
If you get back I can send you admin access?
Help!
This is looking super awesome though, I hope we can figure it out!!!
Just saw the VC question above mine. I get the exact same behavior in the VC as I do in a new page. I’m using the AWESOME theme Total available here.
We make heavy use of Templetara too. Would be good to test with both these plugins as they are super useful…
It works good for me with Visual Composer. Anyway, please post your issues on our Support Forum and send me your admin area login data with your forum topic url via contact form.
Having issues with the tooltips not centering above images (75px icons)
I can see that you’ve posted on the forum – thank you! We’ll answer soon.
Hi, Will this work with visual composer?
Hi,
Yes it works with visual composer.
Videos are not on the page to watch?

Beautiful work! I probably will purchase regardless of my question but any chance of some css3 animations such as hinge, tada…etc…in future updates?

Second purchaser. Look forward to using the tooltips this week. Such a superb variety of tooltip designs!
Mark
Some bugs. I left a message in your support forum. Great plugin though and well thought out; particularly on the editing of a tooltip.
Thank you! We’ve replied on the forum.
All your upgrades worked like a charm! Everything can be seen in the data fields! This past weekend did about 200 tooltips and it works great! Keep the updates coming! Mark
Great, it’s good to hear that! Btw. If you would like to give a feedback on item, please take a moment and rate it in your Downloads section.
Just gave you a well deserved 5 star rating for great customer support and a fine plugin!
Thank you!
Very good tool!
One problem: The custom css seems to apply to the text carrying the tooltip and not the tooltip itself. Is this intended? It is quite useful but styling the tooltip itself would also be nice.
Thanks, Bernhard
Thank you!
You can add some class to tooltip and style it using this parent class. You can also use inline styles in ‘Tooltip Content’ textarea. Let me know if you’ll need any help with that.
Ah, I see this is intended then. I would propose to have an additional box for custom css, that applies to the tooltip itself. Such a box would be useful on the settings page of the plugin as well as on the shortcode configuration screen. My users are not so familiar with editing the shortcode in the text-editor.
Ok, we’ll add this field with next update (today or tomorrow), thank you for the suggestion.
Finally the version for wordpress is here!
Questions: - are the size of the videos configurable ? (so they can be bigger?) - can you include screenshots of the WP configurations for it ?
Thanks
