Hello .. I hope you have great sales at this site .. Follow me TOO :D

Are these still good? I notice the last comment was in 2013. Just want to make sure before I purchase.

All the shadow styles work just fine.

I purchased the plugin 24 hours ago and have been trying since to upload it on my site but I always get an error message saying “files not valid”. I have contacted codecanyon who told me to contact you to solve this problem.

Please advice URGENTLY! The site i will use it on has to be finished within a few days!

Hi: My shadow is invisible, even though I added z-index and position. May you please tell me what to do?

Here is my code: #candy_girl_logo img { display: block; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; padding-top: 40px; padding-bottom:40px; position: relative; z-index: 0; }

Where is that?

Hi,

Can the shadows be used on images the same way as divs? Not to be confused with having to create the shadow itself from an image. I want to know if I can apply the shadows to images as well as divs?

Thank you Brian

Thanks for your interest!

Yes you can apply shadows to images. You just need to wrap the images with a div and apply the shadow classes to that div. All of this has been explained in the supplied documentation.

Hi cosmocoder,

i want to add shadow in a slider or better in the content of a boxed html website…

can i do that with your plugin??

KInd regards, xrisxal2000

You can add shadows to any element in your image. You just need to add some classes to the html tag in order to get the effect. All instructions are given in the supplied documentation.

Thanks for the fast responce. I final question…can i add shadow not to pictures but in a boxed html webpage so the background standout the content??

Kind regards, xrisxal2000

If your target container is a div then you can certainly add the shadow to it. However you have to read the documentation first , especially about setting z-indexes.

Your css does not work on IE10 :-(

I did this test [if IE 8] to [if lt IE 8]

The result is not so nice.

Can you help me out ?

nevermind … i got it to work.

What was the solution?

just add this tag in your demo (and you’re done)

<meta http-equiv=”X-UA-Compatible” content=”IE=9; IE=8;” />

Hi, I’ve just purchased it, but can’t make it work or maybe I understood something wrong. Can it be used within WordPress? I’m using widget containers within my WordPress homepage (see here: http://dev.seven-productions.com/ilenebarnes/).

Can the scripts be used to get a shadow under each widget boxes?

If positive, where exactly do I need to upload the .css and .js files? At the moment, they are at my theme’s root directory. Is that correct?

Then, what code exactly do I need to enter in my main theme’s css?

Thanks for your help….

Thanks for purchasing!

Look up the Wordpress codex on the best practice of including CSS and js file, and that is enqueuing. You can certainly place them in your theme root directory, just reference them correctly from within the theme files, preferably header.php. After that apply the appropriate class names to the containers on which you want shadows.

hello, i need to know that is the bellow shadow box is, image based or css based.

All shadows in this pack are created entirely using CSS , no images are used. This has been mentioned in the item description.

Hi Cosmocoder,

sorry for the double post…guess I hit the publish button twice.

I can see the shadow just fine. Try using the Dark style. Maybe you are having difficulty spotting the light shadow against your background. Also you should use smallBox class for your box, because otherwise when you apply the Large shadow style you will see shadows sticking from two sides of the box.

I applied the class “smallBox WLarge WDark” on your box and it worked just fine.

Hey Cosmocoder,
thanks for the info, but either I´m to stupid or it doesnt work with me.
When I add the following to my Div: imgHentry size-medium wp-image-2556 alignleft smallBox WSmall WLight nothing happens.
HELP

You have not added ‘WarpShadow’ class.

Please contact me through my profile page, since it will be easier to discuss rather than through this comments section.

Hello, Add this plugin to lib/settings.yml. See compress.rb for instructions I just got the program. I could not how to use. If you send it to the html sample

Thanks for purchasing!

I did not quite understand what you were trying to say, but if you are looking for instructions on how to apply the shadow styles, then please read the documentation carefully where everything has been explained in detail. The documentation is present in the folder called “readme”.

:crying:sorry i am a german greenhorn.:crying: please explain me the procedure step by step. i have a style.css in my wordpress theme and i think you have another external css file for the shadows. how do I do to embed your code?

All the shadow styles have been defined in shadow.css. Just copy the code for the shadow styles that you want into your WordPress style.css file and then you can easily apply the styles to your theme pages. But read the documentation carefully on how to apply the shadow styles.

very nice shadows. i want to bye this but i dont know how to insert the shadows in my wordpress articles to pictures.

please help me.

You will have to insert class names to elements to which you want to apply shadows. In Wordpress that means you have to edit your theme files in order to attach class names to elements.
