Back to bother you again. Found a good use for my additional license too.
I’m building a web app and that calls jQuery functions based on things like whether or not something is in the viewport, time on the web app/section and stuff like that. I looked and I looked at your scripts and I couldn’t find the function to stop/close/pause a video from playing. Simply, I want to stop/close/pause a video when launched in MasterSlider using a jQuery function. Pause is really best as a user can restart the video at the point it was stopped.
I’m using the WayPoints plugin for a lot of this functionality ( Peeps who like multimedia should take a look—http://imakewebthings.com/jquery-waypoints )
You see, I am going to load ajax content, run some animations, play some sounds or music and other things when a user reaches/launches a section of my web app and I want to pause/stop the video so they get the full effect. Pretty neato.
Suggestions?
FYI – I’m building something that really shows off MasterSlider. I’ll send a link privately when ready but I’m posting this question here as it may be useful to others.

I bought the masterslider and after trying to make the slider option “mouse” work, as described in the documentation “Whether the user can use mouse drag navigation.”, I took a look to the js files and I found out that the option name should be mouseSwipe and not mouse. Please correct this in the documentation. The other thing that I saw is the problem with the photo numbering in the lighbox. This was doing well until the last update, and now when I open the templates/lightbox example (from the downloaded files) and click for example on the third slide and open the big image in lightbox it says “6/7” and not “3/7” like it should. I also have one suggestion that is really important for people that will have a lot of images in the slider (in my case round 30 images, it is around 9 MB ). The suggestion is to create a option (for the Slider with Lightbox and Fade Effect) that will allow developers to change the loading mode from your current “smart preloading” to the one that loads only the first big image onload. Then when the user tries to change the slide you can load the all other images. It really matters especially for the mobile users, because why to download all the images and make him pay the internet traffic if he will not look at them. Also for the thumbnails, the option to load them after the page loads (I made it for my project and now it loads faster). The plugin is great and I hope you will add this functionality also. About the lighbox, it should be working correctly if you setup the lightbox before slider setup like below:

And about the preloading, as you can see in documentation, smart preloading has some different options which allows you control loading of slides, for example if you specify “preload:1” slider only loads the current slide of slider.

If you are creating a PrestaShop theme to sell it in a market, you can include it in your theme by an extended license. But if you want to redistribute this slider as plugin/add-on and resell it in market, it’s not possible.

As for the issue: The slide takes too long to lock in place. you can see in this example www.masterslider.com/features/templates/video-gallery-horizontal-thumbs/ that the layer starts only when the slide locks and because it takes so long many users miss the layer. It looks like it is because of the easing function. Is there away to fix that? Would greatly appreciate a quick response. Thanks!
Hi, sorry for that in fact you can click on the address bar then press enter from your keyboard if it asks you to login when you already logged in, anyway you can increase the speed of slide transition by using speed option of slider options, http://www.masterslider.com/doc/#slider-options
Tried clicking enter many times – didn’t work…(firefox) Making the slide speed faster dose help (tried it) but we don’t want it that fast. is there no way to change the easing function?

To achieve smoothest movement while swiping, slider doesn’t use any tween engines or css transition for slide transitions, so it’s not possible to use custom ease functions.For now you can change 2 parameters to controlling it:
slider.api.scroller.options.minValidDist = 1 // large values not recommendedand speed option

Hi, layers starts playing just after slide transition done, as I said in previous comment, you can control transitions by that two parameters. I discussed about it with our dev team, they decided to add new option “timeshift” to slider in next update which helps to control layers starting time.

Apologize about our previous comment. i think you didn’t understand our question. we know what is custom post type and how it works, but the question is what functionality you expect about custom post types in master slider? Do you mean something that fetch featured images from portfolios (for example) and show them as carousel or slider?
