Currently the plugin does not support RTL and the WPML. But it can work with the WPML since the content depends on the posts and what you can do is have one widget for each language.

Hi, Just a few modifications and you really have a good alternative to Special Recent Posts Pro :
- Make it responsive (especially since your plugin allow “column” display)
- Add a “Auto category filter” which makes the widget filter on the 1rst category of the post displayed (this way it can be fully dynamic for each post without having to specify any category)
- Add a way to filter by custom field (meta key / meta value)
If you have these features you’ll have me as a customer very soon !!

Yes, you have the following option that should do the job: “Select excerpt length in words”. Might not be exactly the same because the words in the different articles have different length but should be very similar overall.

You may want to change the description of your plugin from
“Image size – thumbnail, medium, large, custom size”
to…
“Image size – thumbnail, medium, large, custom width or custom height”
I may have to request a refund as I needed this very specific function and thought that when you said “custom size” that that meant both height and width can be manipulated.
Nice plugin but not what I’m looking for…unfortunately.

Love the widget but I was wondering I could modify them to look like the lists one www.elitedaily.com.
You can modify the look with some custom css. Each element of the lists generated by the Smart Post Lists widget has unique css class that can be used so you can get the look you want. Start the inspector of your browser (for instance firebug for firefox) and find there the classes for the elements you want to modify.

I just want to say that I am satisfied with the support received from OTWthemes. They went the extra miles to help me modify my theme’s css by adding some codes in custom.css.
Again, in my case, Smart Post Lists Widget catches WooCommerce product pages and whatever associated custom taxonomies correctly.

Make sure you have featured images for you posts. This is where the widget looks for thumbs.

Hi Yes it is ok now but when I want to show only title and thumbnail and want image show on top of title so I just ticked show title and image float top of excerpt problem is that title still shows at right side of image but when I tick both show title and show excerpt then title and description show under image but I want show only title under image I dont want to show des. Please help me

The plugin doesn’t have the options to re-arrange the content. We are currently working on a new way more advanced plugin that will have that and tons of more options for managing lists.

You can select posts for one or more authors. Posts can be regular WordPress posts or posts from a custom post type.

You can order the posts in your lists in a random way. If that does not answer your question please elaborate a little

Can you be hired to add this to the plugin? If not, and I have someone else do it, and I sent the code to you, would you consider adding it, so that future updates don’t overwrite it? For publications listing the author almost always a necessity.

You can select which posts to include by selecting categories, tags, authors. In the case of custom post types you can select posts by each tahonomie available. In your case this might be product categories, product tags, etc. We don’t have the exclude option at this poin.

Yup, it can grab WooCommerce product pages (a custom post type) and filter by whatever custom taxonomies associated with it (such as Product Attribute from WooCommere). I used the thumbnail only layout and each thumbnail linked to its product page correctly. 5 stars!

Hi, just want to say this is a great plugin! I had to upgrade my hosting though as I have thousands of tags which was pushing my PHP memory limit to the edge causing an error when trying to use it, so anybody purchasing if you have the same issue just look for better hosting with a higher PHP memory limit I chose bluehost.
I’ve installed the plugin but struggling to get rid of the bullet point, I then want to use the same CSS my theme uses to display recent articles in a widget. Is there any chance you could help me in this?
