Hi, I want to add this shipping logic to site “shipping needs to be free for orders OVER £100 and £6.99+VAT UNDER £100”

can do this if i buy this plugin please let me know.. thank you ..

Yes, that should work fine. The tax however is calculated through WooCommerce but you can apply it to the shipping cost if desired through those settings.

Hi,

Does this example qualify as “cart based”? DOMESTIC 10.00-49.99 $11.00 50.00- 99.99 $13.00 100.00-149.00 $15.00 150.00 and up FREE

Sorry but it’s not suppose to be on one line. Let’s try that again.

$10.00 to $49.99 = $11.00

$50.00 to $99.99 = $13.00

$100.00 to 149.00 = $15.00

$150.00 and up FREE

The cart based plugin could almost do this assuming this is the only rate. I noticed earlier you had written ‘Domestic’. If there’s another charge such like International this plugin won’t be able to do both.

The only problem I see here is the minimum $10 cart. This plugin does not account for it, it must be 0. My other plugin would be able to put a $10 minimum as well as create rates based on location.

Hi Im looking for a plugin which will offer a flat rate shipping for 2 or less products, and free shipping for 2 or more products, providing the weight is over a certain amount.

Not entirely sure if this is the right plugin?

Thankyou.

I’m afraid neither of my shipping plugins allow for multiple comparisons. You would only be able to compare item quantity or weight, not both.

Hi. I’m a developer, and my client purchased this plugin. I’m having trouble getting the shipping category exception to work. It seems like if I except a category, items in that category should have free shipping, correct? It’s what I’d like to happen. But it’s not happening. Can you help me out?

Yes this should happen, however it’s not categories, it is done by shipping class. Please verify that you are using shipping classes, not product categories, in this. Each product can have multiple categories but only one shipping class.

If this is the case, could you please tell me which method you are using so I can better debug the problem?

Yes, my apologies, I meant shipping classes.

Thank you. I believe you have a post on my support forum as well which I’ve been keeping up with. This may be a technical glitch so I am going to take a look today and find out.

Hi, just want to start by saying this is a great plugin and great job! I currently have the shipping rate based on the cart subtotal, however I want the shipping rate to be based off of the total before a coupon is entered. In other words I have a product that costs $200, and a rule that says if the cart subtotal is $200 or more shipping = x. but after someone applies one of the various coupons I run from time to time, the cart subtotal drops and therefore the shipping rate drops as well. Is there a way for the shipping rate rules to ignore the coupon discounts? That would be a great feature!

Thank you for the kind words. Right now it’s not a feature but I will add it to my list of updates and after I do some research I will get back to you on my progress. It’s definitely a good idea that I hadn’t thought of before.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply! keep up the good work man.

If one buys this plugins are the updates also included?

Yes, all future updates are included in the purchase price

Hi

I would like to check with you before I buy the plugin.

This plugin able to do this:

Option 1: 1 kg below are RM10 2 kg below are RM20 2 Kg and Above (there will have a massege say: we will email the shipping charge to you)

Option 2: Free shipping Purchacase above RM200

Thanks for the reply.

Mean Table rate shipping plugin also hav all the function on the Cart Based Shipping plugin?

Yes, it can perform all of it plus more.

HI! Question before I buy, just wanted to make sure I got the right plugin. This is my example: Free economy shipping on all orders $49+ and free standard and 2-day shipping on all orders $150+ Orders up to $48.99 Shipping only $3.99 for Standard.

Is this the right plugin to do this?

Thanks!

I don’t think this plugin will be able to handle that. It’s designed for only one rate to be applied, so there is only one label option. If you want the customer to understand what type of shipping they are receiving, I would recommend checking out my table rate plugin. I think this will better help you: http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/3796656

Have a website that wants to offer free shipping on only products over $110 that weigh a total of 5lbs or less (so only on light products, not the heavier ones) is that possible with your system?

I don’t think it will work as you described with this plugin, but my table rate shipping should work just fine. It will allow you to create different rules for each possibility, so you would probably need 4 total. - Products under $110 and under 5lbs - Products over $110 and under 5 lbs - Products under $110 and over 5lbs - Products over $110 and over 5lbs

For each of these scenarios you can set a different cost as you please. I think this is what you’re looking for, right? The important thing to note is that this is a shipping method, not an override. It will not change the price of any other shipping method you have installed. It works independently.

Thanks for the reply, now when you say products over $110 and under 5lbs, does it calculate the entire cart or only the individual product (ideally we would like it to calculate all the products in the cart to determine the final weight before offering free shipping.

It can be either or. If you want it to be based on the entire weight of all items in the cart, then you will choose the ‘Per Order’ method. There is also a ‘Per Item’ and ‘Per Class’ method should you ever want/need to change how it is calculated.

Quick presale question: I need to create shipping rates that differ from country to country and by quantities of products in the cart. so for example: 10 products to France is charged differently to 20 products to France. Similarly 10 products to UK is different to 10 products to Germany. Can this plugin provide that functionality? Kind Regards Matt

This plugin does not support countries, but I have one that does.

http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/3796656

You can create zones with this plugin that specify countries or specific postal codes, and the table of possible rates has a column for zones and a column for item count.

Hi, I emailed you two days ago but no response: the plugin calculates the set amount based on prices excluding VAT. Can it be determined on Subtotal Cart Price including VAT?

I’m sorry I didn’t receive an email. Did you send it through my profile here on CodeCanyon? This feature was recently added to my Table Rate Plugin so it’s on my list of updates for this plugin. I hope to push it out sometime early this coming week. I will post here again when it’s complete, but you should also receive an email from CodeCanyon if your settings allow for this.

Thank you for your reply. I sent the email to erica [a] bolderelements [dot] net. I just set the setting righ, waiting for the update. Thank you very much.

I’m sorry, it seems I’m still having trouble with my mail server so I don’t use that email address right now. It’s not updated on all my profiles so I apologize for the confusion. I’ve uploaded the new update with the feature to include whichever tax rates you have specified. It would appear that there is a very long queue ahead of me so I can’t be sure when it will be posted here but you should receive an email from Envato when it is. Please let me know if you have any troubles with it.

Hi,

does this plugin allow us to create a shipping calculator similar to the one on this page: http://www.interparcel.com.au/

No, it is a shipping method that extends the WooCommerce plugin. It uses their form to calculate a single shipping cost based on the rules you assign.

Gotcha, ok, thanks for coming back to me.

Pre-Sales Question: I need to offer free shipping (completely free shipping – not additional items shipped for free) if customers purchase 3 or more items. Is this possible with your extension? Thanks!

Perfect, I think this will work. Purchasing now. Thank you!

Super easy! Thank you!!!

Great! I’m glad it was able to help :)

Greetings; Pre-Sales question; if I were to use this plugin, and also use a USPS plugin, can both be used at one time? I have some products I sell as samples for $10 each. If someone were to purchase some of our products, and then add a sample to the cart, I want to give them the reduced price for the larger order. Thanks for your response, or any suggestions. Kevin

Both plugins can be used at the same time, but they can’t work “together” meaning you can’t share data or combine the shipping costs. They are independent shipping methods, so if both are enabled and the customer qualifies for a rate out of each method, they will be offered a choice between the two. If you’re looking for orders up to a certain amount use one plugin, and higher orders use the second plugin, you may want to look at my table rate plugin. The cart based plugin is setup in a way that it should always return a shipping cost.

Great plugin. :)

Quick question a need to use i both for private and company delivery. But they have different type of prices. Can I install the plugin two times?

Thank you, I’m afraid you can’t simply “install” it twice, but with some modification to the PHP code you can change the appropriate names so that everything saves separately and thus you would have two installations.. It is possible, another buyer I know has successfully done this, but there’s quite a few areas that need to be changed, are you familiar with PHP?

Hi again. No iam not that good with PHP to make these modifications. But iam definitely willing to but the plugin again if you can help me with this :)

Sure, please send me a message via my CodeCanyon profile so I will have your email address to send them to. I don’t have any copies of the latest version but I will work on them today. How many additional copies do you need to run?

Here’s what I need:

US—Flat Rate $7.00 + 2.50 per additional item
International Shipping—Flat Rate $35 +$5 per additional item

Can your plugin accomplish this?

This plugin doesn’t factor for countries but my table rate plugin can and would be able to set up a base price and a separate price for additional items. http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/3796656

I just now installed the plugin and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to set the shipping rate as a percentage instead of a dollar amount per tier.

I thought that was the feature added in update 2.1, but that must have been the handling fee. Thank you so much for all of your help, I’ve never met a developer who responds as quickly and thoroughly as you do.

Yes it was and should have been there now. I may have accidentally made changes to the wrong file when I created the most recent version. I’m going to get it fixed and uploaded soon.

Thank you :)

I apologize for the delay. It would seem as though I lost that particular update so I had to redo the changes. I’ve just submitted it to CodeCanyon for review and it should be posted within the next 24 hours. Thank you for your patience!

hi, does your plugin do the following? im trying to find something that would allow the handling fee to calculate based on the product total + shipping.

example: customer buy product 1 ($99) + shipping ($5) = $104 total + handling (3%) = 107.12

by default, woocommerce calculates handling based on the product only, but my client needs it to include shipping aswell.

I’m afraid not. By default, WooCommerce considers the handling to be an extra charge TO the shipping price not after it. I can consider it for the future, but right now it is not a feature, sorry.

Hello,

I have been wondering whether this plugin will work the following plugin, which I am using to calculate “Bring” shipping rates.

http://shop.mgates.me/shop/wc-shipping-methods/wc-bring-shipping/

Bage.

I’m not sure why you would need my plugin if you are using this one so I will have to say no. It works independently based on a set of rules to calculate the cost of shipping. It looks like this plugin already calculates shipping based on a third party site.

Isn’t there a way to remove the ‘method title’ in this plugin and still have the shipping display? If nothing is added in the ‘title’ field under settings, then the whole row is removed from the cart. I’ve tried deleting and moving some things around in the php file, but nothing works…the ‘method title’ field has to be populated for the shipping to show.

To have ‘shipping’ and ‘cart based’ or whatever is entered into that title field just doesn’t look professional.

Any ideas is greatly appreciated.

This is actually a requirement of WooCommerce. If a title isn’t present, the script won’t be able to add the shipping method. Several people have had luck using the ascii character for space. Just using a space won’t count because it will be removed before saving. Try entering the following characters and see if that helps:

& nbsp;

(remove the space, CodeCanyon’s forum won’t let me print ascii codes.)

okay, thanks
