Hi Convergine,
Looks like a fantastic plugin!
Pre purchase question.
1. I would like to define a recurrence payment via PayPal. Is it possible to define the amount and define the recurrence time (monthly).
2. If I buy your Credit Card Payments Wordpress plugin. Will it cover the PayPal function as well? I mean, should I purchase them both? or it has redundant functionality related to PayPal recurrence payment.
3. Can I define a thank you message that will be sent to the costumer by mail (purchase conformation mail) In either plugin?
Looking forward to purchase your item. Thanks a lot!
Hi webscope,
Thank you for your interest in our product.
1. This wordpress plugin doesn’t have recurring payments options at this time.
2. There are no regular paypal payments in credit card payments for wordpress plugin, so yes, you can purchase them both and then you’ll have standard paypal from this plugin and paypal pro (credit card processing on your site) through the credit card payments for wordpress plugin.
3. It is editable through the code – and we can assist with that though the support forum (http://support.convergine.com )
Great, thank you! I’ve purchased them both
I’ll be happy to get your help. I’ll post you a message on the forum. Thanks again for you kind answer and support!
Thank you for purchasing webscope!
With this plug-in, after someone makes a payment can we send them an automatic email with details and links?
Hi nanoashash,
You would need to extend the functionality a bit. We can help you with general suggestions through the support forum, after the purchase, but we can’t provide copy/paste code for this – you must have some PHP knowledge to achieve this.
So I bought this a while ago and I am trying to use it again. When I put in on my site it only gives the option to put in the selected amount and comments and a pay button below that. I am wanting it to have different services you can pick from that cost different amounts. I added the services into it but it is not showing.
Thanks for the help! -Ty
Hi johntyle,

Hello, I would like to ask a few things about paypal, well first what I want to know if I can handle a payment per month with this terminal, I also would like to know which way I’m aware of whether such payments are made.
Hi devilmatrix,
There are no recurring payments in this product. The only product with recurring payments for WORDPRESS we have is this one -> http://codecanyon.net/item/stripe-payment-terminal-wordpress/6641586
Which file do I modify ?
And what lines of code ?
Please use support forum located at http://support.convergine.com for any support related inquiries. We’ll be glad to assist.
I went to and logged-in at http://support.convergine.com/
and
http://support.convergine.com/?envato_item_id=47404And all the forum post links are “dead” (IE – Unclickable ) except for the ” Booking System ”.
Please send me a link so that I can post my question to the “PayPal Payment Terminal Wordpress” forum area.
Please read this post – http://www.convergine.com/blog/Changes-in-support-forum
Can the “Comments” text field be limited to allow only 5 characters to be input ?
There’s no such functionality on the back end, but you can do that by adjusting the code.
Is this compatible with WordPress 3.8 ?
Hi turner2f,
Yes it is.
Hi, does it support paypal recurring payment?
Thanks.
Hi,
Unfortunately, not at the moment.
Just tried it on the demo site and it isn’t working… It says ‘If you are not automatically redirected to paypal within 5 seconds…’ with a Click Here button. I’m not redirected and when I click the button nothing happens?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in our product.
It is happening because you’re viewing it in frame (the codecanyon frame on the top). If you will close the frame and try again – you will see that it works fine. PayPal doesn’t allow to “redirect” to payment page in frame.
Hi, does this plugin allow for payment plans? ie X amount of payments over X amount of weeks?
Hi BC03,
Unfortunately – at the moment, no. We hope to release such update in January (approximately)
I need to display options for ticket prices of various amounts but also include a donation category where the user would input any amount they choose. Can this product accomplish that?
thanks
Hi KingBeard,
You can set the system to either sell items or accept custom donation amount. It can’t be both at the same time, otherwise it has to be custom adjusted. We can provide such customization – if interested contact us through codecanyon profile form.
Hi,
Very intrested, one question does it only have to be as in the demo? for example where i want to use it is on some price boxes that i have on my site, can i use this for that? or do i have to use it just like in the demo?
i pretty much would like to use it just how its used on here the Envato sites, how we deposit cash to our accounts, can i do that with this?
TIA
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in our product.
Unfortunately this is not a deposit system – money are transferred directly to your paypal account, and not the internal system.
Does it support express paypal checkout?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in our product.
It’s not exactly express checkout. It is standard paypal payments, customer is redirected to paypal (at this point the order is already placed in database, with status – not paid) to enter his information / or login to pay with his account balance -> customer confirms his details and order information and clicks submit. Then customer can be redirected back to your site to thank you page. IPN notification will also be sent to the script. As you can see – this is not entirely “express checkout” flow, but it serves the same purpose… Hope this helps.
Is this compatible with WordPress 3.6 ?
Hi,
Yes it is. Our live demo is running wp 3.6
Hi,
The documentation says version 2.1 but I just downloaded and says version 2.0….
When someone fills in the comment box, where do these comments go?
Thanks
Hi,
Whatever you download from codecanyon is the latest version which is distributed. If download file says 2.0 and docs 2.1 – 2.0 is a typo. Thank you for pointing that out – I’ll check on that and adjust.
Comments should go directly to admin email along with confirmation.
For any other support inquiry please use support forum located at support.convergine.com
I have posted another issue on your website, awaiting response
When someone makes a payment it does not show up in transactions or the terminal section.
Also, no notification email is being received as well. I assume if the personal making a payment writes in the comment box they would show on this notification email?
Please help, thanks.
We replied to your forum thread. Please keep all support communication through support forum. We will reply to each and every support request within 24 hours (in some cases 48 hrs)
Seriously, your customer service is horrible! I need this plugin working!
Thanks for your comment Terry. It was long weekend in Canada, so we were unavailable for last 3 days. We just replied to your email and the issue was fixed.
Functionality: export payments list (per time frame) to .csv per payment id is what I am looking for. Please consider this. Would be a good selling feature IMHO. Cheers
Thanks for your suggestion rickw, such functionality is already on our list for future updates.
Can you use this to protect a page, I.e. Pay Per View.. and if so, will it send the payment receipt to the customer after purchase? Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately, no, there is no such functionality. You will need to extend it yourself.
Just received a notification from PayPal…

“Starting October 7, 2013, we will require all incoming requests to have a “Host” header which complies with HTTP 1.1 Specifications. This header was not required under HTTP 1.0. IPN and PDT scripts using HTTP 1.0 may start failing with “HTTP/1.0 400 Bad Request” errors after October 7, 2013, which will result in IPN messages not being validated successfully, or PDT scripts not being able to retrieve transaction information.
Action Required before October 7, 2013
Merchants need to update their IPN and/or PDT scripts to use HTTP 1.1, and include the “Host” and “Connection: close” HTTP header in the IPN postback script.”
========================
Will your script be updated to handle this ?
Our script should be working fine without any adjustments. I’ll double check it, and if required – we’ll release an update.
Please help me on your support page http://support.convergine.com/topic/transactions
Hi methodik,
We replied to your support post.
thanx
Hi! Would this plugin work for a Business account with Paypal Express? If not, do you have a plugin that would work with it? Thanks a lot,
Marta
You can use it with business account, but your customers still will have to fill out the form on the checkout page in this script.
