The plugin only manages the title and meta description for Woocommerce and not Wordpress. You will need to use a specific wordpress SEO plugin such as Yoast SEO.

The plugin can remove the category base but not the product base. To remove the category base you simply tick the options to remove it under the SEO settings tab. Full instructions can be found in the documentation that was included in the download (online version here).

Without modifying any code there isn’t any way to remove the product base. It is possible to remove the product base but we found that doing so caused conflicts with wordpresses own URLs so we decided against adding it the plugin. Its been requested a few times so we might consider adding it. but it might do more harm than good!

As stated in the description, you can remove “product-category” and you can set the page title for categories. The plugin does not currently allow you to remove the “shop” base.

With regards to your current SEO plugin, i cant guarantee that both plugins will work together. Its best to only have one plugin handling the SEO for Woocommerce.

Unfortunately, there is no option currently to add .html at the moment. We’ll look into adding it for the next update.

As mentioned previously, removing ”/shop” causing a lot of conflicts with Wordpresses own URLs. We still haven’t found a solution that works 100% but were still trying. We’ll let you know once we get something working.

We’ll continue to update the plugin as long as Woocommerce is updated! The guys at Woo are pretty good at keeping future upgrades backwards compatible also so you dont need to be too concerned about updates.

It removes the product-category base. Im not too sure what you mean by actual category base? If you mean wordpress’ own category base then no, it doesn’t remove that.

You will need to set the all in one seo plugin to not handle the product post type and product_cat. That should work fine.

We did try to implement this feature but it caused way too many problems because the rewrite rules would conflict with wordpresses own rules causing 404 error on either products or wordpress pages. Not to mention if the permalink structure set by the user was just / postname then this would cause even more problems.

Its a features that been asked for a lot so i think the best thing for us to do would be to have another crack at it and try to come up with a solution.

i don’t see why not. The slug is just text to the system. It shouldn’t make a difference what language is used.

Well, WPML has a functionality to translate products slug, i mean the post_type product, so you could have products/product-name, and productos/nombre-producto (just an example). But can´t translate the default slug for taxonomies, the woo default one “product-category” or any custom one using attributes, that in fact are taxonomies. So if you have a custom taxonomi called “collections”, you can´t use a slug pointing to that taxonomie in many langs, just the one used. Anyway, i will buy it and take a look. I´ll advise if anything, thanks.

With regards to removing /shop its not going to be possible because it causes too many conflicts with Wordpress own URLs for post and pages and is very much dependent on each individual sites permalink structure.

And how can i make automatic titules using subcategories?? for example for the category food i have the subcategory light… and in the subcategory light i want to use the title Category + subcategory—> food light… Is there anyway to make titules mixing categories and subcategories?

Hi, Apologies for the late reply. Currently, subcategories are not supported in the page title templates. It caused too many problems since the number of subcategories you could have was endless and creating tags for them all caused issues with the template being too long to manage. We’re still looking into a solution since a few users have brought up this issue.
