Hello I recently updated my Active eCommerce CMS script for my website (⁠souqmy.com⁠) from version 9.8.0 to version 11.1. Unfortunately, immediately after the update process, the website stopped working completely and is now returning a “500 Internal Server Error”. I have attached a screenshot of the error page for your reference. Could you please assist in identifying the root cause of this issue and provide the necessary steps to resolve it? Please let me know if you need me to provide the Laravel error logs or any temporary server access to investigate the issue. Looking forward to your prompt response.

I have another question regarding customization.

In the checkout page, I want to force the customer to only use Cash on Delivery (COD) as the payment method, and I want to completely hide all other payment gateways or options.

I am glad we are beginning to see some form of product upload automation. The question is, does the new Google Workshop and Facebook catalog work for sellers as well? Can the sellers use it to sync their products directly, or is it only for in-house products?

Thank you for your suggestion. We definitely plan to make this available for sellers in a future update.

However, before exposing this functionality to sellers, we want to observe its performance through one or two stable releases. If we receive feedback or identify any issues from customers during real-world usage, we will refine the feature accordingly before making it available to sellers.

Features that involve third-party integrations require extra caution, as their behavior can vary depending on external services and different server environments. Running them in production first allows us to validate stability, compatibility, and the overall user experience before giving sellers direct access.

Our goal is to ensure the feature is reliable and thoroughly tested rather than releasing it prematurely and creating unnecessary complications for both sellers and administrators.

Hi Team,

I have a feature request for a future update of Active eCommerce CMS.

It would be very useful if the homepage product sections (such as Featured Products, New Arrivals, All Products, etc.) had an option to display products in random order. This would ensure that different products are shown to visitors on each page refresh, giving more products equal visibility instead of always displaying the same ones.

Please consider adding this feature as a built-in option in one of the upcoming updates.

There’s KYC for Sellers, API sytem is not built inside, The tracking system can be shown by order ID or by Tracking ID, Shipping API’s are currently around India, But we have plans for EasyShip in futur, Our site or app is slow for some technical reasons and for heavy uses at a time with multiple login at a time in admin panel. I am unable to see the kyc you have for sellers. I only see their name, email and number, address and a profile picture across the system (admin and seller dashboard). By kyc, i mean where they can submit documents to verify their personal identity (government issued and others).

Can the api be included/configured now or in future updates?? It will really make your script very versatile.

I am very concerned about the shipping couriers you used by default as they are more india focused. Our market is mostly focused on business with products and customers in europe, the americas and africa. So we are concerned that using your current shiprocket solution may cause higher shipping costs or longer delivery times because shipments often route through their (more) multiple hubs.

Do you have clients that operate within these regions i talked about and how do they go about it. I would be glad if you can give me clarity and detailed information about these.

Please improve the Order Management system by displaying the Order Source (Website, Mobile App, or POS) in both the Order List and Order Details pages. For POS orders, if the customer is registered, display the customer’s actual name instead of showing “Guest” and ensure the order is properly linked to the customer account. Additionally, add an Order Source filter (Website/App/POS) to the Orders page and make sure the order source is stored correctly and remains unchanged throughout the order lifecycle. I am experiencing an issue after updating to version 11.1.

Since the update, the Product Details page on my mobile app is no longer displaying. Whenever a user opens a product, the page keeps loading indefinitely and does not show any product information. However, the Product Details page is working correctly on the website.

I have followed the troubleshooting steps provided by your team, including reinstalling and clearing the server cache, but the issue still persists.

Based on my observations, it appears there may be a problem with the connection or configuration between the mobile app and the website after the update. Since the website is functioning normally while the app is not, I believe this may be related to changes introduced in version 11.1.

Kindly investigate this issue and provide a fix or update, as it is affecting the functionality of the mobile app.

Hi ActiveITzone,

I am using Active eCommerce CMS and facing a massive Root Document execution / TTFB delay of 7 to 10 seconds on the initial page load.

We ran multiple speed tests using GTmetrix, Pingdom, and Google PageSpeed Insights while tweaking settings, and here are the exact results we observed:

TTFB / Root Document Delay: Always stays high between 7.5s to 8.8s according to GTmetrix.

Mobile Performance Score: Ranges between 75 to 76.

Total Page Size & Requests: Only 1.2MB – 1.49MB with just 32 to 47 requests, proving the assets are small but the server execution is stuck.

Here are my VPS & Server specifications:

Server: VPS with 12GB RAM, 6 vCPU, running CyberPanel + OpenLiteSpeed.

Environment: PHP 8.2 (with Redis extension fully active and enabled in .env).

Mail: SMTP configured to sendmail.

Debug Mode: APP_DEBUG=false

Queue: QUEUE_CONNECTION=sync

Cloudflare: Proxy is fully enabled.

Even after clearing old sessions, views, and app cache, the backend response remains extremely slow, which confirms it’s an execution delay within the script/database loops, not a server resource issue.

Currently, I am using Homepage 6 – The-Core (as shown in my settings). Can you please give me a hint on what might be causing this massive execution delay? Also, is the newly released Homepage 7 – Nexa more optimized or faster in terms of database queries compared to Homepage 6?

I have a question. I downloaded and installed the latest version from CodeCanyon, and everything seems to be working. However, when users do not fully complete their information, such as the billing or shipping address, they do not receive any error message telling them that they need to fill in the missing fields first.

For example, if the buyer has not entered their address, the checkout page simply does not proceed correctly and give error 500 and no validation message is shown.

Is this expected behavior, or is the application supposed to display validation/error messages whenever required fields are missing?

When you get a new update in your active cms script. Then when you try to upload that file, uploads failed comes up. Now is this a problem with your script or with the hosting, please tell me. This is impractical because different sellers offer products with varying sizes, so this issue needs to be addressed. Please include this feature in the upcoming update.

If this responsibility is delegated entirely to sellers, there is a significant risk of incorrect submissions, incomplete information, or policy violations. In such cases, the burden ultimately shifts back to the admin team, who will then need to review, revise, approve, reject, or provide repeated guidance to sellers.

Before implementing this approach, it would be worth considering whether the expected reduction in admin workload will actually be achieved, or whether it may create additional operational overhead due to increased moderation, support requests, and seller mistakes.

Thank you for your response. I completely understand your concern, and I agree that giving sellers unrestricted control could lead to incorrect or inconsistent size charts. However, I believe the main issue is not who creates the size chart, but how the current system is designed. At the moment, a size chart is assigned at the category level, so every product within that category displays the same size chart. This works only if all sellers and brands use identical measurements, which is not the case in real multi-vendor marketplaces. A better approach would be: Make size charts product-based instead of category-based. Allow the admin to create default size chart templates. Allow sellers to select a template or create their own size chart for their own products (if enabled by the admin).If required, add an optional approval workflow so the admin can review seller-created size charts before they become visible. This solution keeps admin control while allowing different brands to display accurate measurements. It also reduces incorrect sizing information, improves customer experience, and minimizes product returns. I believe this approach is more scalable and aligns better with the needs of modern multi-vendor marketplaces.

Now that clears up. We are noting the point. We will took actions to size chart to be product based and future options to sellers to create. Thanks for the clarification.

We are unable to accept the conclusion that the issue is unrelated to Version 11 simply because it could not be reproduced in your testing environment. The problem started immediately after updating to Version 11, and prior to the update, the registration system was functioning correctly on our live website.

Your response indicates that testing was performed only on your default installation. However, the issue exists in our production environment, which is where the software is being used by real customers. Since the problem appeared only after applying your update, we believe this should be treated as a product-related issue rather than a paid support request.

We would also like to clarify that we are not requesting any customization, modification, or additional development work. We are reporting a critical functionality failure affecting customer registration, which is a core feature of the software. Due to this issue, our customers are unable to create accounts, resulting in customer complaints through WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube, causing direct business impact and reputational damage.

We respectfully disagree with the position that the expired support period relieves responsibility for investigating a defect potentially introduced by an official software update. If a bug exists in the update, it remains the responsibility of the software provider to identify and resolve it.

We therefore request that your technical team:

Review the registration issue within our environment. Provide a diagnostic procedure or patch to identify the root cause. Confirm whether any known issues exist in Version 11 related to registration functionality. Assist in restoring the registration system to working condition.

If necessary, we are willing to provide error logs, screenshots, screen recordings, temporary test credentials, or any other information required for troubleshooting.

We sincerely hope this matter can be resolved cooperatively and without escalation. However, if the issue continues to be dismissed without proper investigation despite evidence that it was triggered by the Version 11 update, we will be forced to consider further action to protect our business interests and seek an appropriate resolution.
