Hi, I’m using mimsms. There was a sms syncing issues with the mimsms dashboard. I created a support ticket to mimsms. But after they look into this issues , my cms otp addon keep disabling. No matter what link i click in admin panel, it redirect me to the addon page and the addon get disable after any link click. I’ve reactive the addon and update it. But the problem remains.

Beem Africa — Comprehensive documentation: https://docs.beem.africa (Strong focus on African networks, bulk/OTP support, delivery reports, scheduling, and fast regional delivery; particularly well-regarded in East Africa like Tanzania.)

Africa’s Talking — Developer portal: https://developers.africastalking.com (Excellent pan-African coverage, robust REST API, sandbox for testing, high reliability for OTP/transactional messaging, and transparent country-specific pricing that is generally far lower than global gateways for African destinations.)

Both providers are widely used by fintechs, e-commerce platforms, and developers for OTP and notification flows, with significantly better economics than current $0.43/SMS rate, especially for African traffic.

I would appreciate it if the team could assess the technical feasibility of integrating either (or both as fallback options), I am sure many buyers here will appreciate it.

It’s been almost a week since I submitted ticket #2884, but I haven’t received any update yet.

Initially, I was informed that your team would review the issue and, if confirmed, it would be addressed in the next update. However, even after 5 days, there has been no confirmation or progress regarding the OTP issue.

This is a crucial part of the individual add-on, and it directly affects the user experience. I would appreciate a clear update on the status and expected resolution timeline.

I’ve noticed two issues in the OTP login process:

1. Duplicate phone number verification: When a user registers with a phone number, OTP verification is required before accessing the registration form. However, after submitting the form, it again asks for phone number re-verification, which seems unnecessary and creates a redundant step.

2. OTP not sending for login/forgot password: OTPs are not being sent during login or forgot password processes when using the MiM SMS gateway. However, registration OTPs are working correctly.

How can I solve these issues? Will you be fixing these bugs soon?

Sending sms on changing delivery status needs to be flexible. Example: i want to send sms when status updated to ‘confirmed’. But I don’t want to send sms when order ‘picked up’.
