CART BUG in the update 2.1.0

After updating to the latest version, I am experiencing the same issue another user recently reported.

When I remove an item from the WooCommerce cart, the cart updates correctly, but the Lumise designer cart still shows the removed item. If I add a new item from the designer, previously removed items can reappear.
We need a fix!
Are our words so difficult to understand – Lumise Team? You want to make money- we too perhaps! So please fix it. Back from space :grin: Robert

Thank you for your message, and we are sorry for the frustration this has caused.

At the moment, the Lumise cart and the WooCommerce cart are not fully synchronized with each other. Because of that, when an item is removed from the WooCommerce cart, it may still continue to appear inside the Lumise designer cart.

Please kindly note that this is not actually a new issue introduced in the latest version, but rather a current limitation in how Lumise cart data works together with WooCommerce cart data.

A comparison of two of my demo installations revealed the following:
1. In version 2.0.9, the deleted design item is still in the WooCommerce mini-cart.
2. In version 2.1.0, the deleted design item is still in the editor mini-cart.

I’m sure you’re working on making the shopping cart more user-friendly so that errors during the ordering process are virtually eliminated. (It’s easy for me to say this since my account isn’t public yet.)

My addition regarding the shopping cart:
The display of the design items in the shopping cart alone kept me busy for weeks. Every theme had a different, unusable way of displaying the items , or conflicts on the checkout page.
It’s not just about Lumise and WooCommerce; the theme has to be right too! Oh well. It’ll all work out.

Hi Lumise Team,

After updating to the latest version, I am experiencing the same issue another user recently reported.

I am also noticing that uploads to the cart are taking much longer than before and sometimes time out.

I no longer have active support for the plugin, but this appears to be a bug affecting multiple users and possibly most sites on the latest version.

I wanted to report it in case a fix or patch is already in progress.

Hi, is it possible to manage the stock inventory? I need to create a store where it is possible to sell products in stock. If the product is not available, the customer cannot place the order. Also for t-shirt, I should add the stock quantity for each color and size. Is Lumise available to manage the inventory assigning the SKU code for each product variation?

Regarding your question, unfortunately, Lumise does not currently have a built-in feature to manage inventory, as this functionality is already available in WooCommerce.

At the moment, the features you described are not currently supported. The preview cannot be embedded directly inside the product page, and the editor cannot be simplified to only allow image upload with preview without accessing the Lumise design tool.

1. Is it possible to get access to the admin dashboard before purchasing? Your demo does not seem to be working, so I am currently unable to properly review the system.

2. I noticed that quite a few users are reporting issues with the plugin, apparently following a recent update. What is your expected timeline for fixing these problems? I do not want to purchase a plugin that is already known to have unresolved issues.

3. After a customer places an order through the system, what exactly does the site administrator receive? For example, can the admin see details such as the font, color, position, size, and other text settings selected by the customer? If I use the sticker editor, I would like to know if changing the dimensions changes the shape of the sticker where the image is applied.

Example: 50×50 (will show me a perfectly round or square sticker) 200×50 (will show me a rectangular or oval sticker) etc.

Lumise does allow this feature. You can set up for each variation of the sticker to show that sticker size’s base image. For example, with 50×50 you can use a blank square image, for 200×50 you can use a rectangle one, ...
