Since I updated to the new version, when someone wants to become an author, a 404 error appears. We have identified that activating subscriptions redirects them to the plans so they can activate the artist role. Please, we need it to be the same as in previous versions, so that when they choose “become an author,” they can simply create their discographies and profiles. Our site is completely free, there are no subscriptions.

I bought the script long time ago, i just installed the latest versiona and it’s working great. There is one big issue it’s working on Android, Windows but not on Iphone en Mac, only the header is shown in the middle of the page. I know my support is expired.

This should be fixed in the latest version. Try updating from “admin > settings > system > update” page (click re-install current version button if new version is not showing yet).

Yes, you can restrict both playback and content visibility via permissions in admin area.
In the new version, you have removed the ability to add a link to the Playback source on /backstage/tracks/123/edit. I’m asking you to return this, because it’s not very convenient to log into the admin panel every time.

If you mean the link to users page in admin area, you can re-add manually via menu manager in settings page, if it was removed for some reason.
I’m referring to permissions for user groups (“roles”). The option to view or hide other users’ views from a user group no longer exists.
This will be fixed with an update later today.
Hi, there’s a problem with playlists with the latest update. The playlists display the same tracks over and over again, and it’s also impossible to scroll through and view all the tracks; it only displays the first few tracks in an infinite loop. I’ve reset the cache, server, and browser cache, and tried multiple browsers and devices, but the problem persists. It seems to be a system issue. How can I fix it? Thanks.

There’s no built-in way to set default avatar currently as it’s generated automatically based on user name or email.

BeMusic does not have any special requirements for hosting, so any provider should be able to handle that many users without issues.
We don’t offer full installation services currently, but if you encounter any issues when following installation guide, you can create a new ticket on our support site and we’ll be happy to assist.
I’m very interested in buying it, but while browsing the demo I noticed that when I download the music, the MP3 file doesn’t save locally in the downloads folder. Will there be a future update with this feature?

The offline functionality downloads the music into a special folder in the browser’s cache, this will not visible to users, similar to how it works on native mobile apps.
If you want regular downloads you can enable this from “admin > settings > player > interface” page, that will download the actual .mp3 file to users device.
Is there a way on the phone so that when you play a new song, it doesn’t automatically open the video but stays minimized instead? If you’re clicking through albums and a video pops up after every track and you have to swipe it away each time, that’s a bit annoying. It would be cool if that were possible!
Oh, and it would be great if genres were used more in the future, since hardly any artists, albums, or tracks are tagged with them at the moment. I like searching for songs by genre, but unfortunately I can barely find any here 
(This refers to the automatic features.)

You can disable “auto-open overlay on mobile” option in “admin > settings > player > interface” page, that might causes issues with auto play on youtube embeds on some mobile browsers though.
