Hello, I recently purchased your plugin “Instagram Feed – Photo & Video Gallery for WordPress” from Envato and I’m experiencing an issue with displaying content on my website. When I select the option “Display directly from Instagram”, the feed loads but the post thumbnails never appear. Instead, the loader with three dots keeps showing indefinitely. When I switch to the option “Import posts to server”, the thumbnails appear correctly, however videos do not play at all. Because of this, I’m currently unable to use the plugin as intended. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? If there is a configuration step I might have missed, I would appreciate your guidance. If the problem cannot be resolved, I would like to request a refund for the purchase. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards, Piotr
Hello. The Instagram provides URLs of the pictures pointing to the Instagram CDN servers. The Instagram restricts to display those pictures on all webservers over the world. That’s why we implemented the “Download locally” mode, so your webseite can download the pictures and videos and display them from your webserver. The pictures donwloading fast. There is some time needed for the videos to download when you first load the video. Once it downloaded to your webserver, it will be displayed fast.

This limit resets every day. Maybe it is already reset. If not, is should be resolved by tomorrow.

Hi, we purchased the app in March 2024. It has always displayed our account, but for a few days now it’s been giving the following error:
Unfortunately, an error occurred Instagram error: Please wait a few minutes before you try again.
@BellaTentazione.SanGiovanni is now giving this error.
Any other accounts entered seem to work properly.

There was some issue with the Instagram profile “isleofskyedistillers” on the API server. Now it is fixed and works fine.
Please clear the data cache by setting “Cache lifetime”=0 (but please don’t save the gallery with this setting), just wait until the new data is loaded. Or you can just wait until the data cache is expired and it will be automatically renew within the 24 hours.
The plugin isn’t loading any images. What exactly do I need to configure in the settings to display the images? Kind regards Susan

Hello. I set it to “Downloaded locally.” For the proxy URL, I specified https://www.instagram.com/su.... and entered the password for my Instagram account. If I set “Use Proxy” to “no,” the images don’t load. If I set it to “yes,” the images don’t load either, and a long error message appears.

I have a problem on a website where I have installed your plugin. Some items do not show on the page, send an email but no reply to my question. I have tried to reinstall the plugin, cleared cache more times, changed hashtag and profile with others but… don’t show all thumbnails video/photo instagram. Furthermore, it does not scroll through the images. Can you help me to find a solution?

This is called “Carousel” layout and it is present in the WP version. Or do you mean the “Autoscroll” option, so the gallery will scroll automatically without clicking on the arrows?
In the Joomla component, there is the option to automatically scroll the carousel every few seconds, which can be set in the options. My question is simple: since I don’t see the same option in the WordPress plugin, is there a possibility that this feature will be implemented in the next version, just like in Joomla? Are you the same author as the InGallery version for Joomla or not?

For some reason I can’t reply in the last thread – I am using multiple sources for my galleries (@username) and all of the galleries stopped updating 6 days ago. If I print errors, it just says “Unfortunately, an error occurred Instagram error: Please wait a few minutes before you try again.” and if I clear the cache everything disappears. I had to restore my site from a backup to make the galleries display again.

Hi. Great plugin. I made several tests and no matter what configuration I did, the instagram imagens doesn’t show up in the gallery. Is there any limitation of post date? In one of my albuns, none images apperead even wioth the correct hashtag. I’ve created 3 albuns with the following configurations:
1. Album name: Brinquedos e jogos em MDF

2. Album name: Brinquedos e jogos em feltro

For some reason the latest update didn’t went through. You can configure the mobile optimization option in the gallery settings and this error will be gone. When the version 1.93 will be approved by Codecanyon, please update the plugin on your website and this error won’t appear anymore.

Did you place the purchase code in the InGallery settings as it described in the documentation?
Yes, you just need to add @instagram_account as a source of the gallery. It can be any Instagram public account.
Hi there. I am trying to add my instagram account in the plugin. There is no place to add this. I hace added the purchase code in but when I go to the plugin on my WP sidebar the only option is to add gallery. Would appreciate help to get it working. Also I have checked all the files in the zip and nothing relates to “how to install”. Thanks.

Click “Add New” to create a new gallery with your Instagram account. Then copy the shortcode of this gallery and paste it where you want to display it on your website.
Plugin will not connect to Instagram and keeps telling me my purchase license is invalid. But I see no settings area to attempt to fix this. How can I get this to work please?
