For example, if a driver is near the restaurant, can the system select them to pick up two or more orders and deliver them according to a route, prioritizing the closest customer and finally the furthest?
Another question: Orders are assigned automatically based on each restaurant’s configuration, but can a driver receive more orders while waiting for a previous delivery?
For example, if a driver receives order number 1 and is waiting at the restaurant for delivery, and three more customers place orders along the same route or address as customer 1, can the system assign more orders to the same driver? Can they then pick up orders 1, 2, 3, and 4 simultaneously and deliver them according to a system-defined route, for example, delivering order 3 first (due to proximity), then order 1, then order 4, and finally order 2 (because it’s the furthest from the restaurant)?

I am interested in the app. i am a fullstack developer and i will need to make some customisations. I want to disable delivery and only allow directions to restaurant. is this possible?
I only want to allow pickups by customer and show the customer directions to restaurant from their current location.
We already have the takeaway feature included in the script. Customers can place their orders and select the “Takeaway/Pickup” option directly during checkout. No extra customization is required for this feature.

I see there is no documentation for the restaurant app. Does all the apps share the same firebase database? will they have separate database? There is no clarification or documentation.

Also one last thing. I see when i update the database i.e changing a restaurant name it does not reflect on the app. The app still shows stale or old data. Point me to the right direction of what is governing this

One thing I’ve noticed in your script is that you’re using the Distance Matrix API, but there’s an issue, when we enter the exact locations of the vendor and the user on Google Maps, the distance shows as 11 km. However, the Distance Matrix API only calculates it as 4.75 km, which is a significant difference and directly affects the delivery charges. So what is your plan to tackle this, since the distance discrepancy is quite large?
My second question is regarding the updates you release, how can we smoothly incorporate those updates into our existing application, especially when we’re using an older release of your script that includes our own customization? Do you have any official guide or process to help with this?

=> The distance matrix API works similarly to Google’s, but I’d like to clarify which locations you are using for the calculation and how you’re determining the distance in kilometers. Please explain this properly. If you’re calculating from the driver’s location to the user’s location, the result will be incorrect. The calculation should be based on the vendor’s location to the user’s location.
=> You can update the script in below ways.
you can follow below ways for that:
Way 1: First, push your code on a git branch. Then download our project code from codecanyon and push it to another branch. And at last merge both branches and it is possible to get conflict on one branch. Resolve it carefully.
Way 2: We provided changed files directory-wise with our every update. You have to replace them with your code. Remember that it may conflict with your customization. If you customize something on a file and we change something on the same file then merge those codes carefully.
Way 3: Download updated files from codecanyon and do your customization again

When a customer places an order and it is accepted by the restaurant, the order status changes to “Order Accepted”. However, the order does not appear in the driver’s application, and no delivery request is received by any driver.
Make sure the delivery tracking function is integrated to receive orders.
