The Tile Measurement Price Calculator for WooCommerce has been really helpful for my store. It was working great initially, but now I’m facing an issue when trying to purchase variable products using the calculator.
Here’s what’s happening:
I select a variation (like color), enter the required area, and the price calculates correctly.
But when I click “Add to Cart,” I get this error:
Please choose product options by visiting [product link]
This only seems to happen on variable products using the calculator. Products without the calculator or simple products add to the cart without issues.
It looks like the variation data or quantity isn’t being passed to the cart correctly when using the calculator. I’d really appreciate it if you could look into this or let me know if there’s a known fix or update planned.

our calculation goes wrong. It should calulated how many boxes needed and than multiply by the boxes need and the area what is the boxes and than prodide price. also the price is showing without tax. other prices is showing with tax.

Hello we are a well established floor store looking for new solution and yours looks great. I had a couple of questions.
We sell our hard flooring by the box based on the number of square metres needed. Eg the customer enters 120 sqm for their project, then we need the calculator to work out how many boxes are needed, (rounded up to the closest full box) as boxes are only sold in full and cannot be broken up.
I was wondering if you have a demo I can login and see if it works for our needs before purchasing? Also does it work with elementor?

still looking for a reply, is there a way to show the sqm price on the product archive page too rather than a package, as most flooring products are marketed as sqm or sqft, but sold by the closest rounded up box.

Hello, presale question I want to get the pricing of the calculated area by putting the value in the input field as its shown in the plugin demo + i want to have a quantity field where my customer can simply buy the quantity by filling the number which depicts the number of boxes which will be sent to cart. Just like a normal quantity increment decrement in normal woocomerce product. Want to use these both at same place, one to calculate by area and other by box(just multiply the price of 1 box with the increment value) .

Is there any feature where if user enters area in sqm, it should calculate the number of tiles required in that area and calculate the price for the same? This is what i need. Not tiles by box,only number of tiles in given area.

I have gone through the demos as well for this, its 90% same but i need rhe number of tiles required to be displayed in given area and in current setup its displays area of tiles required.
what is need – If tile size is 2.7sqm then for area of 10sqm ,tiles required should be displayed as 5(rounded off). If something like that is possible to be sure? Thankyou

It’s showing tiles area required for user input area. I need number of tiles required for given area. If tile size is 2.5sqm per tile and if user enter 10 sqm area then number of tiles required would be 4 (10/2.5). I just need the number of tiles required to be displayed as well. Rest everything is good. This is the important requirement for the calculator we need in our website.

Do you mean to allow the client to enter the optional number tile 1,2,3,4? Sorry, our plugin doesn’t support it.
Area in sqm will give you how many tiles are required with the formula area entered/area of single tile = number of tiles required. We have these requirements for example
Area per 1 box. 1.44 sqm Required sqm. Input in sqm Total calculated box. _ Price per sqm. _ Total price. __ Wastage option(either toggle or checkbox) – 10%(any value that can be set at the admin panel)
And also i need an option in form of toggle button to add overage/wastage percentage in the calculation like in the above link. As you know wastage/overage is a must addition in tikes business.
Let me know if it can be added and if it can then i would like to know the budget if we can achieve the calculation.

I would like to know one thing before we buy the plugin.
We sell 2 size tiles i.e 60×60 and 60×120cm in box. 60×60cm has 4 tiles in a box ( 1.44 sqm ) 60×120cm has 2 tiles in a box ( 1.44 sqm )
We donot sell loose tiles. So when customer inputs 1.3sqm, the calculator should display total quantity as 1 and the price should be reflected as per that. But if customer inputs 1.5sqm, the calculator should display the quantity as 2 box and the price should be reflected as per that.
We sell tiles per box but the customer have the quantity per sqm. So is it possible to have this setting in your plugin?

That would be great. We want the customer to see the tile fixing cost as an option which can be selected during the buying process. Because they have the quantity available and with your calculator we can show them the price for installation as well. The price we quote is in per sqm.
