I would like to understand how stock quantity tracking works in the system.
Specifically, I need confirmation on the following:
When an item’s stock is low, does the system automatically trigger a low-stock alert?
When an item is out of stock, does the system prevent the POS from selling that item?
During the demo, I added Coke as a food menu item. However, even though the stock quantity for Coke was zero, the POS was still able to sell it. I would like to know whether this behavior is expected, and if not, how stock enforcement should be properly configured to prevent out-of-stock items from being sold.
Please advise on the correct setup or settings required to ensure accurate stock control at the POS.
Hi, Yes, it triggers a low stock alert automatically. But fewer ingredient stocks don’t prevent selling at this moment. We didn’t implement this feature because if an order has 12 items and each item may have 10-12 ingredients, then we need to check the stock of ingredient 120 times, which will make the system very slow, and customers will not wait in front of you for that long. Thanks!
