You can install the module without any problem — it won’t ask for a license key during setup.

There is a section of milestones while creating task groups but I dont see any report or view to see the filtered view of projects as per milestone they are in…. How that feature works?
When creating a task group, you can create milestones and assign tasks to them. While saving a task, you will see the defined milestones. Later, when you assign this task group to a project, the milestones will also be created in the project together with the tasks
Ok thank you for quick reply… Is there a view where i can see all projects based on a milestone they are in. Like for example if there is a milestone of Design Phase then can i see how many projects are currently in Design Phase milestone.
This is not available in the current version. But it is a very good idea for improvement, and I will add this feature in my next update

This is a pre-sale question. Do you support dependent dropdowns? e.g. There are two categories, commercial and residential, for project type. Based on the option, related entries are populated for every subsequent task that would be created. Multiple dropdowns with dependent and chained data. One dropdown based on the type of data of its parent dropdown. Thanks & Regards.
When defining a project, all task groups are listed in a single dropdown menu. The system does not create multiple dependent dropdowns or chained dropdown menus based on the selected option. However, if you have predefined task groups for your projects, you can set them up in advance and assign multiple task groups to a project. These task groups work independently from each other.

Hi, I have found one or more bugs. I have defined projects and tasks before i buy your extension. Now when I go to the old project and click on the [TASKS] menu it will freeze (load endless). When I click in the main menu on [TASKS] it also freeze.
When you habe a defined Project and change some settings in this project, you get always the wait symbol (3 blinking boxes). If you define a second Task Group, you get at [TASKS] only the wait,.... nothing goes.

There are many customers actively using this module, including some of my long-term clients, and none of them have encountered the issues you mentioned.
It’s possible that the installation wasn’t completed properly, or there may be a conflict with another module currently in use on your system.

It is a great plugin, however, we are experiencing a few issues. I was hoping you could point us in the right direction to resolve these.
1. When adding a project with a task group we get a 500 error and only 1 of the tasks is automatically added to the project, if we refresh the page the project has been added successfully.
2. When on the tasks tab within the project screen, we cannot live/ajax update the task status’s the console show the following error: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 () | /admin/tasks/mark_as/3/27917?single_task=false&csrf_token_name=a49cf48ab591bccf89d1c097645ec3a9
We are running the latest version of perfex v3.2.1
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your message. My module is primarily designed to work with tasks within projects, rather than projects themselves. Custom fields defined for tasks are displayed in the task descriptions.
However, custom fields defined for projects need to be updated manually when creating a project.
If I understand your request correctly, you would like a specific project custom field’s value to change automatically when certain tasks are reached. Is that correct?

Hello – just installed this but I am confused… 1. The Projects area in your module – that is now completely different projects from the default Projects that Perfex already has? IF no, well then there is a problem because my existing projects do not show in your module’s Project area.
2. So I added a Checklist Template, but there is no place to go edit the checklist to actually add checklist items to it…?
3. There seems to be a bug on when you create a new checklist the page refreshed and removed all task information I had already entered – yet the checklist was just a popup so everything shouldn’t have refreshed and cleared out all details already entered in task section…just FYI
Please assist ASAP – I am a little concerned that you haven’t responded to other comments in 2 months… did I make a mistake purchasing this?

For your first question: The projects are the same. However, only the ones where a task group was selected during project creation are included in this list.
For your second question: The checklist section refers to the checklists used in Perfex CRM’s task module. I will check if there is an option to edit them. If not, I will work on adding one.
For your third question: I will also check the process for adding a new checklist. If there’s an issue as you mentioned, I will make the necessary adjustments.

This module includes the feature of defining task checklists. The checklist structure for leads is available in a different module.

When I create a task group with all the needed milestones and tasks and try to use them in projects, everything works fine, but in all tasks there is an unmarked possibility to see tasks for customer and i need to go through all the tasks and mark the possibility to see tasks for customer which need a lot of time. Is it possible to mark the possibility to see all the tasks by customer by default when I’m creating task group? Thank you!

This is exactly what I need but for my leads, is there a way to assign a project task to leads?
Projects are solely related to customers. Currently, there is no feature in Perfex CRM to associate a project with leads (potential customers). However, you can proceed by converting the lead into a customer.

Can tasks be organized like drag and drop or the number be changed for tasks?

There is no drag-and-drop functionality for tasks. However, you can change the task statuses using the dropdown menu in the Kanban view.
The Kanban view is used for project tracking. It is particularly useful in phased projects (such as production) to monitor which stage the project is in and to track the remaining tasks at each stage.

You can get the project group information in the project table using the Rest API. but unfortunately you cannot save the project group when creating a new project. The Rest API must be edited.

The plugin has a project view, but it doesn’t allow me to see the projects I already have in the system. In the pipeline view it does not show them either, but in the Kanban view it does load all the projects that it had already created during the year.

In the project section of my module, I only show projects with a task group assigned to them. This is a restriction I made on purpose. If you want, I can connect this to the settings and let you see all projects.

For example, when a client signs a contract with us, we manage social media and digital marketing for 6 months; the tasks and projects are always the same. This project would be repeated 6 times over the duration of the contract with the client.
