Very interested in this. I will purchase. This automates things really well. What would be a killer option for my use case would be having a recurring project feature.
Example: Every month I have a billed project for my customer. It is the same each month with a few detail changes. When that project is completed and invoiced, it would be amazing to have the project open again in the following month automatically.
Another useful element for my application would be the ability to assign tasks to the customer that the project is assigned to. This would provide CLEAR detail on how they are holding up a project allowing us to fall back to contractual fines for delaying development.

For a repeat project it would have the same timescales, tasks, dependencies. The only thing that would change would be editing some of the task and checklist names as this reflects the actual output that we are working on. Apart from that, everything would follow the same flow.
The ability to assign tasks to customers would be killer, but not sure whether that is within the scope of your project.

What makes me think is that the project is repeated with changes rather than assigning tasks to the customer. Because tasks, milestones and checklist names are fixed in the task group.

I am very interested to purchase your add-on to enhance our current Project Management Module. I have few things that I would like to clarify first.
1. Can your add-on automate the date changing according the delay for each task?- Example: My company have 20 task in this specific project and now, they are having a delay on 10th task. If that happen, other task date also will be push forward after the delayed end date task. All changes should be reflected in gantt chart. Can the add-on fulfill this requirement?
- We need to have the report of Planned vs Actual Report for the project. On project summary, it has already stated the planning date when creating task. Then when user trigger (by changing status to ‘in progress’), the actual start date will be appear in project summary following the planning duration. How can we implement this enhancement ya?
If you guys can further enhance the add-on, will there be any cost associated and how much will it be?
This is URGENT, I need to implement this ASAP as my boss wanted this to be delivered within this few weeks. Hope to get your suggestions as soon as possible.

Thank you for your interest in my module.
My module fulfills your first request. A new task does not get created until the previous task is completed. The start and due dates of a task are set based on the creation date. In other words, the start date of a new task is determined by the actual completion date of the previous task.

I would like to clarify on this issue:
1. I do not want the system to create a new task(s). Instead, I need the system to change the START DATE AND END DATE of the subsequent tasks based on any delays that may occurred during the project.

It seems to be a good module. 1) how the code will recognize that, Task is 0% or 50% complete. 2) how employee in this group/task can add their project circumtances. that the task is being completed. or in-progress.

If there are multiple tasks in projects, it is an excellent module to manage them. It is really useful for projects that have specific and sequential steps, such as production.
I calculate the completion rate of the project according to the number of tasks in the project. I have added fields from the tasks that will affect the project status. This way, when a task is created or completed, you can change the project status and automatically move it to the next stage.
Tasks are processed in the order they are created within the project. This prevents unnecessary records from being created in project tasks and task lists.

Hi, Your module works fine, Just that one doubt to be clarified, It is not pushing any notifications to the the Task Member or Task assigned to. Can it be rectified or updated in further updates. Sending out Emails and Pushing desktop notifications will be very helpful.

You can create rules by types of tasks and processes, example:
1 – Production tasks are different from administrative tasks.
2 – Accounting tasks are different from marketing tasks
How can we classify what automation process would be in this case for each area of the company?

You can create different task groups for two different methods. and assign these task groups to different projects.
In this way, two different projects will proceed according to two different task groups.

You don’t need to create a new project. You can also add to your old projects. You can see the task group field on the project add / edit screen.

Hello ! Im using it and this module is very nice ! The only thing i may would like to improve must be the Checklist add. That delete all the task details for each new checklist and its not very easy to manage cheklist inside that.. I think it can be very better to have the same frontend that classical task for checklist ! Thank you !

Also interested in what the user fmlisboajr asked, “ is possible have dependencies tasks in between 1 or more projects?” And also, I’m interested to test dependencies between tasks but in your demo I don’t see any additional fields when creating a task, in order to assign that task to another task already created. In the end in order to start working on task 2, task 1 needs to be completed first. That’s what I need to accomplish. And also, maybe task 3, 4, and so on, should also have the same dependency. Eg: In order to work on Task 7, task 1, 2 and 3 should be completed. Task 4, 5, 6, should only be dependent on the completion of task 2. This is just an example of a scenario during thw work on a web website for a customer.

Hello In this version, the creation of a new task is dependent solely on the completion of the previous task. However, in the upcoming version, multiple new tasks may be generated after the completion of one task, or a single new task may be generated after the completion of several tasks

Hello! I don’t think this is the best logic. Most of the times there are tasks that staff members can begin working on, at the same time, regardless of the completion of the previous task.
Scenario: Tasks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 In order to start the timer and work on task 2 and 3, is mandatory that task 1 is completed. In the meantime, task 4 have dependency on the completion of task 3 BUT task 5 is completely independent. The staff assigned to task 5 can start the timer and begin working on task 5 at any time they want (respecting the due date ofc).
So what I’m saying is that when you create a task, there needs to be a new field (type: select multiple), where you can select one or more tasks that MUST be completed before the current task can be started.
Eg: before starting to install and setup wordpress, the hosting environment must be live (configure VPS / setup cloudflare dns / setup SSL / etc). But in the mean time, designers can create the wireframes, do branding work, setup social media accounts, etc etc etc…

Dependency exists among tasks within the project. You can add multiple task groups independent of each other to the same project. However, currently, it is not possible to establish dependencies across different projects
