Hi. I have large posts 8k to 10k words each, with pictures and tables and nice traffic … Maybe already implemented, maybe a new idea for the plugin: can the plugin save locally the generated pdf to act as a cache, so that is does not recreate it each time ? or maximum every each x days ? (and adding some new salt at every regeneration in the filename would be good to avoid bots crawls)

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the best place to post but…. I purchased this plugin and see that it does not work with JetEngine CPTs. I am attempting to get a refund but have hit multiple road blocks. I submitted a support ticket and received an ‘odd’ reply that said something about the username “dev” doesn’t work…not sure what that was about.
When I log into my dashboard on the welaunch website it shows no downloads and no orders. How do I submit a request for a refund?

you can put any content into the PDF, so even a custom ACF payment link if you want.
Pre sale question. Can you convert WP pages that have dynamic content that are displayed via a shortcode, so for example converting custom invoices to a pdf. The shortcodes are just placed on a WP page to generate the content. The chrome browser picks up the content fine, just looking for a plugin that will also display the content.
We do execute a do_shortcode on the content in the PDF. However we can not guarantee it will work as we do not know the other plugin code.
You can buy and test. If it should not work, you can get a refund.
The shortcode looks like these %item.itemname %, $ %invoice.overdue %, so when a user logs in they see what they are due for invoices etc. each user sees different content depending on what they are due.
Unfortunately we can not tell if it would work as we not know this kind of development / plugin. You can only see when you buy and test it.

I’m frustrated about these 3 issues: 1. When downloading a PDF file, the file name is not displayed according to the url name. They are missing letters. for 2 & 3 you have to adjust the header margin & height in our plugin settings. Increase the values until it is fixed. You may need to do the same for footer settings.
1) we do not understand this as a pdf file name can only contains of a-z letters and numbers. Please send admin access, FTP access and example pdf URL to support@welaunch.io and we will look into this.

We are very happy with the plugin! However, there is one problem: our website is translated with the TranslatePress plugin. Generating PDFs works perfectly for the original language. But for a translated language only a corrupt PDF is downloaded (can’t be opened). In the debug view everything is displayed correctly (including the translation). Is this problem known and how can we solve it? Thank you for your answer.
This is a problem with TranslatePress. Please ask TranslatePress support.
Why should this be a problem with TranslatePress? Do you have a specific indication? Also with other translation plugins (e.g. Weglot) it does not work. The debug view is generated and translated correctly. Only the export as PDF fails.
We do not know. Please ask the other plugin developers. We only support WPML, polylang or multisite setups by default.

I’m interested on buying your plugin so i can generate the page content as PDF but before buying ur plugin i want to make sure that it does what it says and what i can see by your Demo.
To be more certain i want to make sure two things: 1. that i can edit the header of the pdf so i can put the site name 2. that the content of the pdf is simillar to the design and content of the generated page. For example i want it to include the styles of the headers, colors, etc. so i wont need to write CSS to achieve that.
Please reply with details about ur plugin because i already bought one and it doesnt do what it says even after watching their demo and now i have requested a refund.

1) yes of course you can adjust the header as you like
2) that is very hard to answer without seeing your current page content you want to export. In 99% of the cases it looks the same
We can only recommend to test it out. If something should not work, you can ask our support or get your money back
If you want please check it out and tell me if it is going to be generated in the pdf with the same styles(for example: the background-color on the header) .
