Hi, after several years of use the search analytics table becomes quite large and the queries come slower. Is it possible to clean older data but leave the more recent?
Thanks, Tommi
there are 2 ways:
1. You can get our support to check and optimize table for you. (adding DB index if needed, to speed up)
2. You can run this in your phpMyAdmin: (take backup before running. Also check if your DB prefix wp_ or different. also change “2025-01-01’” to a desired date. )
DELETE FROM `wp_woos_search_analytics` WHERE `created_date` <= ‘2025-01-01’
Hi,
do i have to make any special setting in order to intergrate your plugin with woodmart theme?
Thanks
hi. no need for special setting
Hi… I have installed your search plugin – and so far I love it
I have it on my site https://hhcdistribution.dk/
But I have a few questions I hope you can help me with?
On the front page, the search bar is small and right-aligned. But on all other pages – category, product, search and so on, the search bar has full width (as I like it to be.) But I can get to have it on my frontpage, can you help me why? I would also like to have the popup result text in black insted of yellow, how do I do that? And final. I have a B2B site, so you can only see prices when you are logged in. Could be nice to have them in the search result also (as they are default) but if I use the default settings, then users there are not logged in can also see them. Can I somehow do so it is only for logged in users?
i think we can add some CSS tricks to achieve the goals you listed. please, contact our developer and we will be glad to help: guaven.com/contact
any updates?
Hello! I use Translatepress in my online store. I read in other comments that you were working on make your plugin compatible with Translatepress. Today, is it alreay compatible? Thanks
not yet. they have a bit different logic than WP structure itself, that’s why we postponed supporting it.
Ok thanks
Hello,
First of all, thank you very much for the plugin – it works great when I trigger a rebuild manually.
However, when I try to update it via a cron job, it doesn’t seem to add new products. So I assume the rebuild process is failing.
When I run it manually via the terminal, I get the following output:
Cache Data has successfully been generated.
100
WordPress database error Duplicate entry ‘41880’ for key ‘product_ID’ for query INSERT INTO wp_woos_search_data (product_ID, displayed_html_data, searchable_text_data, price) VALUES (41880, ...
...
made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’), require_once(‘wp-load.php’), require_once(‘wp-config.php’), require_once(‘wp-settings.php’), do_action(‘init’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, Guaven_woo_search_admin->cache_rebuild_cron_mode, Guaven_woo_search_admin->cache_rebuild_ajax_callback, Guaven_woo_search_admin->cache_rebuilder, Guaven_woo_search_admin->save_products_to_cache_table
And I get this for many products.
Here’s the cron job I’m using:
0 0 */10 * * /RunCloud/Packages/php82rc/bin/php /home/runcloud/webapps/advent-verlag/index.php 174117614067c83d4c86cfe 0 1
It’s a WordPress multisite installation.
Do you have any idea what I can do to fix this?

Subject: Mobile Layout Issue in Guaven Smart Search on Shopbefikar.com
Message:
Hi team,
I’ve recently integrated the Guaven Smart Search plugin on my WooCommerce store (https://shopbefikar.com). While the search works great on desktop, I’m facing a layout issue on mobile devices.
When a user taps the search bar:
The Woodmart theme’s default search field opens first. Then the Guaven search overlay loads, but the mobile keyboard doesn’t automatically open — the user has to tap again. The product grid in the live search results appears misaligned and cramped on smaller screens. Some prices and images overlap, and the layout doesn’t adapt cleanly to mobile viewports. Here is a screenshot showing the issue: (Attach screenshot)
Can you please guide me on how to:
Automatically focus the search field and open the keyboard on first tap. Make the live search result layout responsive and clean on mobile (e.g., proper spacing, no overlapping). I look forward to your guidance.
Thanks & regards, Paransh Jain Founder, Shopbefikar
Hi. Sure we can assist. Please forward this message to guaven.com/contact so our developer will respond with guides via email.
i use nitro pack for site speed. will it affects the performance of this plugin
It should not. The only thing needed is not to remove any of plugin JS, CSS files from the website frontend. Rest should be good
I would like to know if it is possible to hide price in the seach result or that it only will be visible if the user are logged in?
It can be possible with one simple css rule. We can help you with that
Hello,
We can’t get the search to work for some products, either in the live search nor the search page afterwards. This is an example SKU 12766-328 whish should lead to this product https://masterfishing.bg/produkt/monofilno-vlakno-daiwa-infinity-sinking-mono-olive-3000m/ (one of the variations has that SKU). We tried all search engines available in the plugin. We rebuilt the search index and cleared transients/redis but we are unable to make it work.
Best regards,
Hi. please contact our tech guy using this direct link: guaven.com/contact
How can I use the same search and on admin dashboard? I use it with Woodmart theme.
thank you!
Hi, it is only for a frontend website. You can contact us (support at guaven dot com or just use the contact form here in codecanyon) for a discussion if you want that feature to be integrated into backend.
I have 2.3.0 version installed there is a 2.3.0.2 version? i already downloaded but still 2.3.0
tomorrow you will be able to download 2.3.1 from codecanyon and that will fix the issue
Hello,
where is the updated version of plugin? My wordpress page says it is suppose to be 2.3.0.2 but when I download from Themeforest or click update button in Wordpress it stays on 2.3.0 Am I missing something?
Thank you, regards
hi, we have replied to you email.
It says in the WP admin that there’s a new v2.3.0.2, but the download here is still just v 2.3.0. Where is the updated file?
it would be fixed ASAP. if you dont want to wait, you can contact us and we will send you a fixed one
Hello! We love your plugin – Woocommerce Search Engine – but we really need help!
Is there a way that the results can show ‘exact match’ first and THEN variations?
Currently it’s not in any order that we can see…even alphabetical.
You can see an example here – denverbreaker.com > search KA36200 > you’ll see the exact match comes up 3rd…should be 1st
Thanks so much!
Hello.
Actually with default settings “Square D KA36200 Circuit Breaker” should come first. There might be something wrong in the settings.
Please contact our developer to check the settings and fix the issue for you: guaven.com/contact
your plugin works very nice, i am using it for years. I also noticed that even moving to a more powerfull server i get from the cpanel the notice “I/O usage resources limit was reached for your site” the indexation is causing this and surely cuz its very fast and is causing this issue. is there a way to lower the speed of the process? my server limits are 40MB/s for I/O Usage. Thanks, great Job!
Hi that needs to be investigated. To be honest we have never heard about that error caused by our plugin. Maybe you are using some managed hosting which have very strict limit? That error is just impossible even with 5$/month VPS servers.
Or maybe there is a 3rd party trigger in your website which causes multiple IO operations during indexation process. You can contact our developer for detailed investigation: guaven.com/contact
Hello. I use Seach Engine in https://samara.soyuznyi.ru/, this is geo wordpress site with subdomains (https://izhevsk.soyuznyi.ru/, https://buzuluk.soyuznyi.ru/, etc). Seach Engine works perfect on main site https://samara.soyuznyi.ru/ (), but not working at other domains (https://izhevsk.soyuznyi.ru/ etc). As I can understand the prodlem in guaven cache: for example for main site i see https://samara.soyuznyi.ru/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/woos_search_engine_cache/guaven_woos_datad6c04bdcf67d35b4cb1e24a338473bf4_lite.js?v=311.21901 and for subdomain https://samara.soyuznyi.ru/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/woos_search_engine_cache/guaven_woos_data907f06d2f37e79f99446a66b6f9286da_lite.js?v=311.21901 . May be there is some potions to solve my problem (I use Wordpress Mulsite, https://samara.soyuznyi.ru/ – is part of this Multisite, geo subdomain generates via WT Geotargeting )
Update via my test. If I connect to https://ufa.soyuznyi.ru/ admin dashboard and rebuild cache, Seach Engine creates cache only for this site, only for https://ufa.soyuznyi.ru/ and It works, but only for this domain. It is possible to use cache from main site for all geo subdomains?

Hello
Is your search plugin compatible with Astra theme?
Hello.
It is compatible with all themes which have a search form. And in case of any CSS conflict our support always helps with that.
In your plugin it is possible to boost a product based on the search, for example if the client searches for “creatine”, I want to select which products appear first and then all the other products appear in the search result.
Yes it is possible to order by search results by meta field.(F.e. you can easily create a field called “priority” using advanced custom fields).
So, I have to install the advanced custom fields plugin and in the products that I am interested in appearing first, create a field called “priority” and assign it the value “1”? With the value of “1” your plugin knows that its going first or something like that?
Do you have a video or a demo site to check it?
You can use any plugin or you can use a default custom fields feature of WordPress with no additional plugin.
There should be some data to define your desired priority.
BTW, in upcoming versions we are going to bring a new small feature just to make some products “sticky” – which means they will appear first without needing all products to have that priority number.
how many products do you have and how many of them need to be “at the top”?
For example, if the client search the word “creatine” we have like 7 products that is only creatine and other 10 products that have in their formula creatine, so what we want to do is to put first in the search results the products that we want that are creatine, then the rest, so in this example will be 3 products, but that apply to other search terms, another is “protein” is like 10 products the search results, we want to put 3 products in top.
Relevance feature solves this problem by itself. If the word “creatine” is in the name(title)and for other products it is in the description, tags, category, meta field – then of course the ones which have it in title will appear first.
And that is the problem, all the products have the name “Creatine”, because all are Creatine, example Creatine Drive 300 gr, Creatine Drive 1kg, Creatine Micronized 150gr, Creatine Burst, Creatine Micronized 1000gr, etc…, so for that reason i need to control which one have a better spot in the search results
So the only thing you will need is to add priority custom field and then order by smart search results by that field. we can help you with that BTW. (auto-assigning all products priority=0 and setting up ACF or similar plugin which lets you to control those priorities in wp-admin product editor)
we just buy your plugin, and sent our questions using your page contact form. Or is better to put everything here?
Sure, you will get a reply via email shortly
Hi, hope you’re well. Using your plugin, is it possible to change the order of the search results. For example, if someone searched for trainers or sneakers, even though there were 100 products, a red pair of nikes would always come up first?
Hi. Our plugin supports order by custom fields(f.e. you can create priority), or menu_order, or other fields. By default our plugin will still use relevancy over that but it can be disabled.
By defautt priority is 1. relevancy; 2. any orderby rule you set
but if to disable relevancy , then
1. any orderby rule you set
