5 months ago I asked before buying whether you were going to update the script to Laravel 12. I already knew it was Laravel 10, and I asked specifically because your answer would determine whether I purchased it or not. You told me you planned to update to Laravel 12 and even mentioned “exciting features” in the next updates. Based on your words, I bought the script.
On top of that, your documentation is incomplete and misleading. I can find instructions on how to install on localhost, but the script does not work on localhost at all because you use an extremely unusual Laravel structure. No proper Laravel app should fail to run locally. Before pushing anything to live hosting, developers need to customize, test, and debug locally. That is basic workflow. Your documentation needs to be updated, because right now it is impossible to use this script in a normal development environment.
Now we’re five months later and nothing has happened. Laravel 12 is a big step forward in security, performance, and stability, and the script is basically useless to me in its current state. When I asked again for a real timeline, you gave me the same meaningless line: “Sorry we cannot provide the exact timeline due to business policy.” That’s not a policy that’s just avoiding the truth.
So let me ask directly: were you lying when you told me the update was planned? Is “business policy” just your excuse for misleading customers? Because I didn’t buy a script in 2025 to wait until 2030 for Laravel 12 while the whole ecosystem moves on.
This is completely unacceptable. Give me a clear and exact timeline for the Laravel 12 update right now, or refund my purchase. Envato policy does not allow sellers to give misleading or false information, and you already crossed that line with the promises you made before my purchase.

Regarding Laravel 12, yes, our plan is still to upgrade Martvill to Laravel 12. This has not changed. The development work for a major Laravel upgrade requires careful testing and compatibility checks with all modules, which, unfortunately, takes more time than expected. We genuinely did not intend to mislead you at any stage.
About the local installation — we understand your concern. But unfortunately, we are not able to provide official support for localhost environments at the moment, and the documentation mainly focuses on production deployment.
That said, we value your purchase and your feedback. Your message has been forwarded to our product team, and we will definitely consider improving documentation and local installation guidance in future updates.

I have to be very clear — I have already lost five months waiting for the Laravel 12 update, and in 2025, in an era where AI and automation make timelines much more predictable, it is unacceptable that you still cannot provide even an approximate release date.
I understand that major updates take time, but there are services like Laravel Shift where a proper Laravel 12 upgrade can be done officially for $39. I do not want to take that route because I expect your platform to provide updates safely without risking breaking my installation.
Your answer, unfortunately, does not resolve my issue. I need a concrete timeline for the Laravel 12 upgrade. If you cannot provide this immediately, I will have no choice but to request a full refund, as the delay has already caused significant losses for my business.

Martvill is a modular-based system, so you can build modules without affecting the main code and they will remain safe during future updates.

Regarding product fulfillment: Vendors are responsible for managing their products, inventory, and orders. The system provides vendor tools such as the Vendor Order Management Dashboard and optional shipping provider assignment. However, delivery men are managed only by the Admin. Vendors need to hand over the products to the admin (or admin’s delivery team), and then the admin completes the delivery process. If you have a specific business workflow in mind (e.g., vendor direct shipping), we can also customize the system to match it. Just let us know!

1. Stop the photo flip (right-to-left hover effect)
This effect is part of the default theme design. If you want to remove or disable it, it can be done by adding custom CSS from:

3. How a customer can cancel an order
Currently, the system does not allow customers to cancel orders directly from their dashboard. Order cancellation must be managed by the admin or vendor depending on the order status.
4. Vendor Category Visibility
Currently, if a vendor creates a new category and assigns a product to it, that category will not appear in the main public category list. However, when a customer searches for the vendor’s product, the category will appear in the filter options.
This is the default behavior of the system.
5. Make Postcode Optional
You can make the postcode field optional from the admin panel: Admin Panel → Configuration → General Settings → Address Here you can turn off the “Required” option for the postcode field.
6. Checkout Validation Issue
There was a small issue in the checkout address form — if the form was submitted without filling the required fields, the “This field is required” message would continue to appear even when filling the fields on the second attempt.
We have already resolved this issue on our side, and the fix will be included in the next update.

Shipping Class & Weight-Based Shipping Martvill provides an option to create shipping classes, but there is no feature to calculate shipping cost by weight, apply additional charges per extra kilogram, or configure weight-based rules. Could you please confirm whether weight-based shipping calculation is supported or if there is an extension for this?
Location-Based Shipping Calculation Issue The location-wise shipping cost works only for the first order. After a customer places the initial order, subsequent orders do not recalculate shipping charges properly. This becomes more critical when a customer selects items from multiple vendors, as shipping charges do not re-calculate per vendor.
Multi-Vendor Shipping Calculation When customers add products from multiple vendors, the shipping fee is not calculated separately for each vendor. We expect vendor-wise shipping cost calculation, but it seems to be applied only once.
Vendor Name Display on Checkout On the checkout page, the vendor name is displayed. We would like the option to hide the vendor name or show only the shop name instead. Please advise if there is a configuration or template setting to manage this.
Customer Order Cancellation Option Customers do not have the option to cancel their orders after placing them. Is there a setting to enable the “Cancel Order” feature for customers, or how can this be implemented?
if one customer purchases 3 products [each from 3 vendors] in one order, then the shipping calculation is wrong, we prefer Cost/ Kg basis. in this case 3 shipping cost should be applied since its from three vendors right? – we tested this case but it didn’t work how it supposed to be. can you check how its implemented? and how we should setup the shipping cost[ the shipping classes also not working as per your document]

Hi,
Your script is not recognizing the difference between local and live environments. On my local setup, I use virtual hosts (e.g., abc.test), and the script keeps asking for a purchase code there. I already have a valid purchase code and have used it.
However, when I moved the project to the live server and tried to install it, I received an error saying the purchase code is linked to another website.
