I may be mistaken, but I’ll ask because I like this script as a starting point and I’m considering purchasing it — however it lacks many operational features, for example:
Inventory quantity per asset — currently I receive “10 office chairs” but as an asset manager I need to register that as a single asset type with a quantity field, then perform downstream allocations to employees (e.g., 7 assigned to employee A, 3 in warehouse).
Asset media — each asset should support an image so the incoming/outgoing custodian knows the exact model/type (desk, chair, coffee machine), which reduces ambiguity during handover.
Minimal financial tracking only — as an asset handler I don’t need full Financial Details per asset. I need basic intake/allocation tracking: I receive 100 units, allocate 88, and need to record the disposition of the remaining 12 (e.g., 4 missing/stolen, 3 damaged/unusable, 1 sent for repair).
Biannual disposal workflow — twice per year we have a formal write-off process for worn/outdated assets. This requires documentation and a defined separation-of-duty procedure based on reports from the asset management system — which this script currently does not provide.
Key reporting requirements missing:
Employee assignment report (who is responsible for which assets).
Department/sector location report (which assets reside in which organizational unit).
Inventory overview / reconciliation (how many I owe, how many I hold, and where the remainder are located).
Damage-only report (assets flagged as damaged, for disposal processing).
Asset allocation detail (for an asset type with quantity 10, the system should provide the asset record and a sub-list showing the 10 individual employee allocations).
Barcode / QR considerations:
Not every organization’s materials handler has a barcode scanner. QR codes with a detailed public asset page (printable) may be more practical — visibility can be constrained by authentication (e.g., public QR page view vs. login required).
Closing note:
There are many additional operational capabilities that would make this script enterprise-grade for an asset/materials handler in a corporate environment.

System looks good, however, could you add Temporary Checkout option as well for assets asigned for events, short term? Also consider that some of us would want to use by self meaning i am the sole operator, i only use it to track my checkouts when going for event and should be able to do that, then print a check out list, and check in gear when bringing back in. Otehrwise good system will dig in a bit to see options
Yes, this use case makes complete sense. If someone is managing everything single-handedly, they should be able to track outgoing and incoming items using a temporary checkout option. Thank you for the valuable suggestion, we will definitely implement this feature in the near future.

The installation on the local machine was successful. However, after restarting the computer, I am unable to access the service via localhost:3000.
Is there currently no option to deploy the application on a web server provided by the hosting provider? Is such a solution planned for the future? Thank you for your feedback.

Yes, the application can be deployed on any standard web server. You just need to purchase a hosting/server (VPS or cloud instance) and install the application there using the same steps you followed on your local machine. Once installed on a proper server environment, the service will run continuously and won’t stop after system restarts.

Is there a way to install it on cPanel through a standard install-management process, similar to other scripts I’ve purchased? I essentially need a streamlined installation flow since I’m not a developer. 
You need to follow the installation process as mentioned in the documentation. Also, please note that Node.js is supported only by select cPanel environments.
I don’t see any Settings section in the platform where we can update or customize key parameters such as the logo, color theme, or options for assigning and editing Location, Status, and Condition Rating.
It seems that everything is currently set to default values, with no possibility for user-level configuration or adaptation.
Currently, the database resets every 15 minutes, so any changes you make to the settings won’t be saved right now.
Ah, I assumed it wasn’t related to the platform itself, but rather a general inquiry about the company I manage as the operator.

“Assets list Showing 1 to 3 of 19 assets” How can I increase the number of items displayed per page — for example, to show 10 assets per page — or is this something that can be adjusted from the system setup?
For demo purposes, we’ve set it to 3, but you can easily update the pagination from the frontend as well.
