Can’t activate zoom player. I try to insert it in Activation code field but it says “error: purchase code not valid”
Hello
Should work now
Also, I’m running ZoomSounds v 6.9.0. I tried entering my purchase code to see if an update was available but the plugin gave an error stating that my purchase code is invalid.
Hello
Should work now
Latest version is 6.99
I’m currently having an issue where I can only like the first song in each of my (gallery) players. I was running WordPress 6.4.7 when I noticed the issue. I have now updated to WordPress v 6.8.3 but that did not help. I’m using a custom WordPress theme I developed. Using default player config and the like button is enabled for the player. Please let me know if I can share anything else to help figure out why this is happening. Thank you.
@ZoomIt – Any update on this? It’s been over 2 weeks with no response. I renewed “support” for support. If you need more details, please let me know.
Hello
Can you show me a link so I see your setup ?
Cheers!
Radu
There is a php error in latest version I downloaded: Error: Warning: include_once(/Users/°°°/Sites/°°°°/wp-content/plugins/dzs-zoomsounds/inc/php/pcm-handler.php): Failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /Users/°°°/Sites/°°°/wp-content/plugins/dzs-zoomsounds/inc/php/DzsapView.php on line 5 It seems the path in DzsapView.php line 5 is not pointing to the file as it is a folder ‘pcm’ I had to change line 5 from “include_once(DZSAP_BASE_PATH . ‘inc/php/pcm-handler.php’);” to : “include_once(DZSAP_BASE_PATH . ‘inc/php/pcm/pcm-handler.php’);”
Hello
Fixed – thanks!
Hallo Missing Core File in ZoomSounds Plugin ZIP: dzszoomsounds-helper.php
Hello,
I recently purchased ZoomSounds via CodeCanyon and encountered a critical issue:
The plugin ZIP does not contain the file dzszoomsounds-helper.php, which appears to be a required core file.
Because of this:
The player does not display or count likes correctly (only shows {{get_likes}})
Clicking the like button does not trigger any network request
Fatal errors occur (e.g., Class “DZSZoomSoundsHelper” not found)
Several backend settings (like Skins or Template base options) are missing
The plugin is not fully functional, even after a fresh install
I’ve confirmed the issue by checking the ZIP file content directly. Can you please provide a corrected and complete ZIP file with all required files, especially dzszoomsounds-helper.php?
Looking forward to your reply – thank you for your support!
Best regards, Thom Schori [eivomusic.com]
Hello Thom
What version do you use ?
the file is
inc/php/DZSZoomSoundsHelper.php
Hello, I am using the latest version of ZoomSounds Pro (v6.91) and have configured everything correctly (skins, like and play markup, activated likes, functioning player, etc.). However, the like function only displays {{get_likes}} instead of the number – even when using your standard skin sample-skin-wave-with-comments via the shortcode. I have performed the following tests: Duplicated and reconfigured the player skin Checked all ZoomSounds settings Used shortcode with enable_likes=“on” Deactivated all other plugins, set theme to “Twenty Twenty-One” → without success The number is not displayed, even for new posts or new audio files. Please help – thank you very much! – Thom

UPDATE 6.98 [ 09/23/2025 ]
- [FIX] import sliders-admin
Subject: Duplicate Rating Stars and Missing Dynamic Waveform in Playlist Block Hi there, I’m using ZoomSounds with dynamically generated skins and playlist blocks, and I’m experiencing two persistent issues I’d love your help resolving:
Issue 1: Duplicate Rows of Rating Stars Despite using a custom shortcode with enable_rates=”false” and creating a stripped-down player configuration, I’m still seeing two rows of rating stars rendered in the front end. I’ve attempted the following with no success: - Added Extra CSS to hide known rating classes (.zoomsounds-rating-stars, .star-rating-con, etc.) - Tried multiple skins (skin-wave, skin-default, etc.) - Searched for an enable_rates setting inside the Player Configuration panel—it doesn’t appear to be exposed - Inspected playlist exports and noticed rating metadata at both term and item levels It looks like the dynamic skin logic may be rendering the rating block twice due to overlapping metadata or fallback behavior in the config.
Issue 2: Dynamic Waveform Not Displaying I’ve enabled waveform settings and used skins that support waveform rendering (skin-wave), but the waveform is still not appearing. I’ve confirmed that: - The audio source is compatible (e.g. individual mp3s from media library and/or YouTube) - Autoplay and cuefirstmedia settings are configured correctly - There are no apparent config flags preventing waveform generation It’s unclear whether a specific setting or missing asset is causing the waveform not to render.
Could you please advise on: - A reliable method to suppress duplicate rating stars when using dynamic shortcode generation and custom skins - Any configuration or asset requirements necessary to ensure waveform displays properly I’d be happy to share export files, shortcode examples, or screenshots if helpful. Thanks so much—I’m aiming for a clean and polished layout, and I’d love to resolve these final visual issues. Best regards, Brent

hi does it work with soundcloud?
Hello
No
Only if you have a soundcloud api key
I have, but it still doesn’t work with SoundCloud. Can you try it?
if you want i can give you mine api key
Latest Wordpress, Brave (Chome based)
There is a bug with the playlists and adding items. The action display takes forever and when you save and reload you sometimes have 10, 20 or more empty playlist items.
Hello
Fixed in 6.97
Great!
I’ve set up my Client Secret Key right now, but it’s not playing audio. What should I do to get it to work with Sound Cloud audio?
In the console I can view : soduncloud parse error – – I can view too : cannot load – ( LINK_SOUNDCLOUD ) – error: MEDIA_ELEMENT_ERROR: Empty src attribute
???
I understand that a stand is also purchased? When are they supposed to respond?
????
New buyers, please consider purchasing, there is no adequate support!!
Hi,
We’ve just encountered an error whereby it appears that soundcloud does not support API any longer. Are you aware of this and is there a work around.
We’re unable to get the player to work, is it being caused by the API not being installed?
Would be great to get it up and running, when we select the automatic use of the player to override the wordpress audio player it doesn’t show anything and just presents blank.
Thanks
When activating the plugin the website crashes please help
Hi we have 2 websites with the old waveplayer that is dicontinued on codecanyon… we have hundreds of posts with single audio waveplayer on each post…
Is there a way to (for a fee) import from our old waveplayer to zoomsound without having to change every single individual post.
Hi I have a wordpress elementor website that uses waveplayer from Code Canyon which has discontinued its software updates a while back. I have many posts with wave player in… so my presales question is
Is there a way to immigrate to zoom sounds from wave player without having to redo all the posts one by one (even for a fee) ?
The plugin still does not work. I have the latest version and it creates the crash on the website. The error: Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Any comments?
Hi, I’ve updated to the latest version 6.95 and I’m having a problem when I activate the following options in “skin-wave”: “Dynamic Waves,” “Waveform Mode,” “line,” and “Enable Spectrum.” The problem is that the song preview (the waveform) doesn’t load; the image remains blank. Is there a way to get the preview to load the image, but have the spectrum waveform move when you press play?
Thanks
Hello
Can you show me a link ?
Thank you!
Radu
I’ve set this configuration on this page: https://moonworks.es/emisora/hit-fm/ Every time you load the page, some waves or others appear, completely randomly. When you activate “skin-wave”: “Dynamic Waves,” it loads everything instantly. I understand that it takes the snapshot created in those modes…
I’ve updated to version 6.96 and it’s still the same. Thanks!
I’ve updated to version 6.97 and it’s still the same. Thanks!
I’ve updated to version 6.98 and it’s still the same. Will we have any solution? Thanks!
We are investigating this
thanks!
Hello

Hi! I’ve already updated to version 6.99, but it still seems to load the waveforms for some songs and not for others.
In ZoomSounds > Settings > System Check > Audit Waves the waveforms appear fine at first. I’ve even tried regenerating them, but it’s still the same.
I’ve sent you a message with the link to download it. Thank you very much!
can you try 7.0.0 ?
I’ve updated it and the problem persists. I’ve renewed the access link we sent you so you can access the panel and check it.
The player we’re using on that page is “hit fm”. Thanks!
How can I reveal the wordpress audio file title in the player for all files in the articles? The plugin is intended to replace the default wordpress player.
Seems the default wordpress audio file accepts only the url
Hi! I have a problem with your keyboard settings. I enabled the “sticky player playlist” in the player configuration, but it still doesn’t work. I wanted to change the keys for rewinding 5 seconds of playback and pausing the track to the following keys: “[” and “]”. What numbers should I enter in the playback settings to control the player using these keys?
Best regards!
In JavaScript, the key codes for the square bracket keys are:
[ (Left Bracket): keyCode -> 219
] (Right Bracket): keyCode -> 221
When adding a YouTube link, is there a way to play the audio without showing the video? Since by showing the video, it breaks the design.
