Activation Issue – cURL Error 28 (Connection Timed Out)

Comment: Hello, I purchased this module today, but I’m unable to activate it. Every time I try, I get the following message:

“Curl Error – Contact your hosting provider with the following error as reference: Error: ‘Connection timed out after 30001 milliseconds’ – Code: 28.”

I already contacted my hosting provider, and they confirmed that outgoing HTTPS connections are working correctly. This issue only happens when trying to activate this specific module.

Support requested my server credentials, but for security reasons I cannot share them. I’m willing to follow any diagnostic steps or provide any logs you need.

Please let me know if there’s an alternative method to activate the license or a patch I can apply manually.

Thanks for the details. We verified that outbound HTTPS (port 443) from your server is allowed – there’s no firewall block on our side.

When your Perfex CRM tries to reach https://sejalinfotech.com, the connection fails during the SSL/TLS handshake because that host is presenting an untrusted (likely self-signed) certificate. Some environments report this as cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 30001 ms, even though the root cause is certificate validation.

Please ask the module provider to install a valid SSL certificate from a trusted Certificate Authority (e.g., Let’s Encrypt) for sejalinfotech.com and include the proper intermediate chain. Once that’s in place, Perfex’s cURL request should work without any changes on your hosting.

If they?ve updated their certificate and you still see issues, share the exact cURL/PHP error output (or we can test again from our side).

The issue has been identified and resolved. After checking with my hosting provider (DreamHost), it was confirmed that the problem was related to an SSL certificate issue on your server (sejalinfotech.com).

Once this was addressed, the connection worked properly and the module activated successfully.

Hello! The number of SMS messages that can be sent simultaneously depends on the SMS gateway you are using. Each gateway has its own sending capacity, which could vary based on factors like their infrastructure, service level agreements (SLAs), and the type of plan you’re subscribed to. If your gateway cannot handle all 50,000 at once, it might queue the messages and send them periodically based on its throughput limits. It’s best to check the specifications or consult with your SMS gateway provider to understand their capacity and how they manage large volumes of messages.

I purchased the module, and it always send the sms, how much would you charge to create a button to sms only, like “Save and SMS” and also the button inside, send sms inside (estimate/invoice/proposal), also create a setting for each template (Auto / Manual)

We have no idea how that module works. Our module works with the default SMS gateways of perfex. So if that module follows perfex standards for SMS gateway, then it will work.

Another small issue: In the “Test SMS config” form the sms is send as is. In the trigger forms, there is an open line in between every line.

Kindly note that Test SMS config is default facility of Perfex CRM. Also the SMS gateway is also provided by Perfex CRM. So, our module does not have any concern with that thing.

“New Estimate Created (to customer)” – status does not work because it does not exist. Can you change it to “New Estimate Send (to customer)”

Now, I have to save an estimate as “send” for it to work on creation. When it is saved as draft and then later send, it does not work.

Thank you for the suggestion. When new estimate is created, there might be possibility of directly send it. So, this trigger will work at that time. We will check if there is possibility of sending SMS when Estimate is sent after creation.

Can I get a custom trigger for status changes or new ticket updates for staff?

There is a SMS trigger for new Ticket to assigned Staff. But SMS trigger for ticket status changed to Staff is pending.

This plugin now work with Proposal Save and send Button Trigger… but most users not use this save and send button beacuse need review proposal and modify text editor area… please Add sms trigger also Proposal Email send Button.. Thanks

Dear there, we freshly reinstall our perfex crm on the same domain, now we add your module on that it tolds like “You have already used this license. Kindly purchase another license to use in new CRM. Multiple time activation tries may cancel your licence.”

The module is very good, is there any way to add more message fields? how to send a message when changing the task status, and send a message to all task members after the status change

I like the idea and plugin, can you make scheduled sms recurring?

Right now, one schedule is executed single time, because it is facility for custom SMS, if they do not want to send now, then it can be sent at scheduled time.

You can send “Custom SMS” in which you can select customers or Leads or Staffs. Oue module uses Default SMS Gateways enabled in Perfex CRM, to send SMS. So if you are using MSG91, then our module will send SMS via that. The license is subjected to single Domain use.
