Hey. I’m created a demo to test out the plugin. I eventually found the video tutorial to work with version 4.0 which is what is loaded in the demo. However, even after creating the developer account and successfully adding the deletion endpoint and verification token, it fails with this error: “Marketplace account deletion endpoint validation failed. Click here to learn more about setting up an endpoint.” eBay doesn’t show the APP ID or Cert ID until the deletion requirements are fulfilled. I did find the App ID on the deletion area where you enter email etc. Help please.

It adds new products, it does not post duplicates.

Just wanted to update you. I purchased the plugin and I was able to successfully authenticate with eBay using the endpoint so that it was able to display both the APP ID and Cert ID. I plugged those into the plugin settings and ran a test rule. Unfortunately, I’m getting error: Failed to decode access token from eBay API: {error authentication failed”}. Any ideas?

Hi. I have a fishing website. That website has an auto poster plug-in that pulls posts from my website and then auto posts them into my Facebook group / groups. The posts that go into my groups are determined by the post type that I set for it to pull.

I am looking to import eBay affiliate posts into my website and then using the Facebook auto poster plug-in, repost them into my groups.

Can this plug-in import from eBay / Amazon and give the posts a post type that my other plug-in could read and then post them into Facebook?

What’s your email lol

It’s ok, I found the box where I can message you and have done

I am glad you found it.

Regards.

Hello you have some initeresting plugins. Happy to have found you. I am interested in your ebay and amazon plugins the only thing I need to know is do your plugins offer geolocation so depending on the country they login on, they go to their local store? If geolocation is not activated I lose commission they are not redirected to their local store. Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Geolocation is currently not supported in these plugins, however, at the setup phase of the plugins, you will need to specify from which country you would like to get products (from which Amazon site/country). This is required because you will need to be approved as an affiliate for that specific country (in case of Amazon).

Because of this, only country specific products can be imported. However, I check on your idea of redirecting users based on geolocation, will check also with Amazon/eBay if they support/allow this feature.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Hello. I have been using Amazon and ebay affiliate plugins for many years. I am a member of all amazons affiliate programs and ebays. Geo-location on sites that are international is essential and you can can use free geolocation api’s for it to work. Adding geolocation to your ebay and amazon plugins will increase your sales in a big way/

Sure, thank you for the head-up on this, I noted this idea, will prioritize it.

why ebay Philippines and Malaysia is not working while other country like US and UK is working? Can you check this especially PH

Hello,

Which search terms did you use for PH?

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

like “korean drama” “kpop” “bts” you can see its working in koreanatics.com for other ebay countries…but not work with ph, malaysia and india

Hello,

I checked on this in detail and it seems that they currently don’t support the PH marketplace to be queried in the API (although, in the API documentation this is not mentioned): https://developer.ebay.com/api-docs/static/rest-request-components.html#marketpl

However, the response from their API is:

Currently, the EBAY-PH marketplace is not supported. The supported Marketplaces are: [EBAY-GB, EBAY-DE, EBAY-US, EBAY-AU, EBAY-IT, EBAY-CA, EBAY-ES, EBAY-FR, EBAY-HK, EBAY-SG, EBAY-IE, EBAY-PL, EBAY-NL, EBAY-AT, EBAY-CH].

I guess we will have to wait until they enable the API for all their marketplaces.

I suggest you contact their support and ask them info about when will they enable the API for PH marketplace.

Sorry for the inconvenience on this.

Regards.

Hi, before purchasing, I’ve three questions: 1) via custom queries I’m also able so search by EAN (european product id)? 2) how are products marked, that are no longer available in the api, via a custom field or will they get removed immediately? 3) are there filters available, that allow me to fill/modifiy custom fields with own values during the import?

thanks a lot!

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

1. No, unfortunately EAN product filtering is not possible at the moment.

2. You can select how you wish to mark them. The plugin can redirect these products to a custom URL, delete them or trash them.

3. Yes, this is possible, you can check this video for details on this process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMIojmlI9fA

Hi, small issue, why the price display like this 30,50USD instead of 30.50 USD? The space of between and USD and the use of comma instead of dot. This point out by my reader and it confuse them. the issue visible in %item_get_intro % and %item_price %

Hello,

This issue is caused because you need to install the DOM extension on your server.

You can do so on Debian / Ubuntu using:

sudo apt-get install php-dom

And on Centos / Fedora / Red Hat:

yum install php-xml

You can also contact your hosting provider’s support and ask them to install the DOM extension for you on your server.

This will solve this issue.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

I ask my provider they cant do it since my plan is not dedicated VPS. is there other way to fix this issue? before the update everything working fine.

I see.

I updated the plugin to v4.0.1.4 – please check the ‘Do Not Scrape Product Details from eBay’ checkbox from the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ menu – it should solve this issue.

Regards.

Pre-purchase question:

What I’m trying to accomplish is to display eBay feed based on keywords to each of the pages on my website. For example, one page is “Coins”, another is “Diecast”, “Stamps”, etc. and each page would have 25 to 50 eBay listings for that type of item.

Is this possible right now, with all ebay API needed?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

Yes, this plugin is able to achieve what you mentioned. You need to set up importing rules in the plugin and filter products by keyword (coins, diecast, etc). Also, you need to create categories for posts which correspond to the above keywords (Coins, Diecast) and assign the respective category to posts generated by each rule.

Like this, the category listing pages will contain products from eBay which correspond to the keyword search you set up in the plugin.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

It seems this plugin works really great as promised, which is importing products from ebay.

I was just wondering, what happens if the product on ebay is sold or unavailable? What do people usually do?

Should we check regularly to see if the products is still available?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

The Ebayomatic plugin is automatically handling expired eBay products. You can set what will happen to these, using the ‘Product Expiration Policy’ settings field from importing rule settings. Options are: ‘no action’, ‘redirect to custom URL’, ‘move to trash’, ‘delete permanently’.

both from DEMO and to my website, plugin is not working and have this error code: [17-Dec-2020 11:54:07 UTC] Ebay query returned false. My website is geekmeart.com and my ebay id: 5338767285

Hello,

Yes, I am aware of this. eBay started a serious war against AuctionRequest and as a result they shut down their services recently.

I am working on a plugin update, currently searching for alternatives to list products.

Regards.

I updated the eBay plugin but still not running well, I think the text box for secret key is missing? as per the error its authenticaiton failed. here the error message. Hello,

Please follow the steps shown in this video to configure the plugin using the new eBay API: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV48HHZBiwg

Let me know if this helped.

hi when i click save settings from “search to posts”, it doesnt work, please help

Hello,

This issue can happen when you update the plugin to v2.0 and try to save rules afterwards.

To fix this, please click ‘Settings’ for all rules that you have set up in the plugin and reconfigure them, check if there are any invalid values. This needs to be done for all importing rules that you have set up in the plugin.

Let me know if this helped.

I want to thank you so much for the ECELLENT customer support! Thank you for assisting me with the plugin on my blog. :)

I was happy to help. :)

Hi There, It seems that when using the plugin with my masonry grid theme, the images render blurry. This happens when you set the desired image size, and without! Any assistance would be most helpful

Ok I’ve sent you an email just now!

The issue I’ve noticed is that the images that are grabbed are actually extra small, which would explain why in the previous theme, the thumbnails were rendering pixelated. The same issue had occurred when I changed the images sizes as well. I have sent you an email so I am awaiting your assistance.

I checked the plugin in detail and saw that you checked in the plugin’s ‘Main Settings’ the ‘Get Only Basic Results For Products’ checkbox. This was causing it to import only partial content. I unchecked it and now the plugin should be importing large images.

I add this here also, for future reference. :)

Hi there, I want to purchase this plugin but I have a few questions. Will this work well with a Masonry grid wordpress theme?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me. I just checked the theme you linked (in the Facebook chat) and it is working with the plugin, you will be able to use it without issue.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Good afternoon! In the demo version, how to check the work of api ebay?

Hello,

Thank you for your question.

Please check the updated tutorial video of the plugin, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHFuhZ3NQJs

Hi, is it possible to schedule items to post at certain times of the day for each campaign created?and also are the photos stored on my server when products are imported? i have found that this really takes a lot of space as there are so many images generated. i have tried a few different plugins, and yours seems to be the closest match to what i need.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

The plugin can be configured to run at a schedule, meaning that it will run every X amount of hours.

This can method can be changed if you replaced wp_cron with a “server side” cron running at a specific time each day. This will trigger importing at that time of the day for all importing rules.

Regarding the image copying, yes, right now the plugin copies images locally to the server, however, if you are interested in serving images for posts directly from the original image source, I can make a custom payed updated for the plugin and add this feature to it. For details, please contact me at my email kisded@yahoo.com

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Is it possible to pull the location from an item to display by shortcode either in title or content?

Well, the official eBay API that this plugin uses returns only the partial description for items – because they do not allow the reuse of the full description for content that is published on their site.

The only way to embed the full content is to use the iframe and to show the contents of their original site, this is a workaround to not copy their content, but still show it on your side.

Regards.

I wasn’t aware of that, thanks for the explanation and your help Szabi.

I am glad to clear this up.

Regards.

You mentioned that this compatible with product types created by Woocommerce. Does this mean that we can set up a store similar to many that use Woocommerce? With all the Categories? Page? Individual product pages?

Hello,

Yes, the plugin is able to do this, however, you will need to configure it for each custom taxonomy from the woocommerce product custom post type separately.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Hello Friend! I have a problem, the pictures in the post are small. https://buy-on-aliexpress.club/category/handcrafted_quilts/

Hello,

First of all, thank you for your purchase.

Can you send me, please, temporary admin login credentials to your WordPress install, so I can check this issue out? Send it, please, to my email address: kisded@yahoo.com.

Hello, a pre sales question…I was wondering if this plugin has any feature to create a search box, where a user can just search for an item, and then it will display all eBay results on your web page? Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for contacting me.

The plugin can import products from eBay to your blog, with affiliate links added to them. Currently, it does not have the search feature you mentioned.

However, this is a good idea, I added it to my plugin update ideas list, I will check on it for future updates for the plugin.

Regards, Szabi – CodeRevolution.

Thank you Szabi, I think this would be a great feature. I used to use another plugin (which suddenly disappeared/went out of business), but it had a search box feature that pulled results of a query directly on the page. Would love to see it for this plugin too

Sure, it is indeed a great feature to have in the plugin.
