Hey there

After updating the plugin to the latest version, I noticed two things that didn’t happen before:

1. The frames around the radio button images are no longer visible. When selecting an image, there’s also no active class being added in the source code, so the selected image doesn’t show any highlight or frame anymore.

2. Empty tooltips suddenly appear on selection inputs, even though tooltips are not activated in the settings.

I’ve already checked the style and frame settings in the backend (frame color, active frame width, etc.) and everything looks fine, maybe this information helps to identify the issue.

Could you please take a look or let me know if there’s something I might be missing?

Hi, would it be possible, or is there a setting, to only show the product variation price (variable product) and not include all the options prices, on the checkout page product summary? I would like to have a nice subtotal pricing summary like, first: variable product price and second all the different add-on option prices. Then below alle these subtotals you can see the total price.

The option prices are built into the main product price, so I’m not sure how a setup like that could work. All add-on plugins work this way because it’s the only method WooCommerce allows for handling custom pricing.

Because you have to create a “simple product” with EPO, the “add to cart” button doesn’t indicate that there are different options (on the shop/category pages, not on the individual product page). “Add to cart” then adds a product to the cart without selecting any options, instead of “make your choice.” How do I change this?

The plugin works with both simple and variable products — it’s not limited to simple ones. If you go to Plugin Settings → Display tab → Display and enable ‘Force Select Options’, the system will make sure customers choose an option by redirecting them to the product page whenever a product has options.

Can I with your plugin do something like this?

I will create two checkboxes one like “display replacement” second like”battery replacement”. After that I will create Product A and set prices for “display replacement” and “battery and another Product B and set up DIFFERENT prices for “display replacement” and “battery replacement”.

So at the final I will have two different products with different prices for the same services/options.

Usually, the prices for options stay the same for all products. However, there are ways to make them different. For example, you can connect the add-on’s price to a custom field (like an ACF field). By setting a different value for that field on each product, the add-on’s price will automatically change to match that product.

If you don’t want the quantity selector and the button set the min and max quantity setting to the same number, eg 1.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “the on top product” without seeing the actual product page. It would be best if you could either open a support ticket or contact us through our profile page so we can take a proper look.

It looks like there’s some sort of conflict in your setup — most likely with your theme or another plugin.

You can open a support ticket at https://themecomplete.support/forums/forum/extra-product-options/ once you’ve created an account and have an active support status.

If you’d like to troubleshoot this yourself, you can try switching to a default WordPress theme and keeping only EPO and WooCommerce active. In that state, the issue shouldn’t appear. Then, start re-enabling your theme and plugins one by one to identify when the issue starts.

You need an active support status to create a ticket.

For the last several days my orders are coming through with “_bundle_cart_key:” INSTEAD of the options data. In the order preview, and no option data is coming through when view the order page.

I have no clue what sizes or colors customers are ordering.

I need urgent help PLEASE. I am NOT using Woocommerce Product Bundles plugin. This is being generated by your plugin.

Thanks for bringing this up! The _bundle_cart_key you’re seeing isn’t something our plugin generates or stores—it comes from the WooCommerce Product Bundles plugin. Since we don’t have official compatibility with Bundles, that’s why the behavior looks different.

If you’d like us to check things on your site related to our plugin, we’ll be happy to help through a support ticket. Just keep in mind that we won’t be able to fix issues caused by other plugins.

It’s really weird… I don’t have the Woocommerce bundles Plugin installed, therefore for it to be coming from that doesnt make sense… I will say, and I dont know if this has anything to do with it, BUT, this problem only appeared about a week ago when I had to switch to the official “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” plugin, away from “PayPal for WooCommerce” plugin. The only reason I mention it is, so far the error is only appearing when the user pays with paypal or Venmo, both of which are through that plugin.

All I can confirm is that our plugin does not save any _bundle_cart_key in the order. You can verify this yourself by placing two manual orders—one with the plugin enabled and one without it.

Hi, since the update to the new format I can’t rearrange the elements by moving them. The little hand icon appears, but I can’t drag any element up or down the list of elements in a section. I love your app, so I’m hoping this is just a glitch that can be sorted. I prefer the format before it was upgraded, is there any way to revert to the previous version? Thank you.

We haven’t encountered this issue on our end, nor have we received similar reports from other users. Have you tried clearing your browser cache after the update? This often resolves unexpected behavior.

Thanks for your reply. I cleared cache but it still won’t work in Firefox. However, it is fine in Chrome, so I will use that to edit products.

Thank you for the feedback! It looks like Firefox doesn’t allow dragging when button elements don’t contain text. We’ve identified the cause, and this will be fixed in the next update.

hello, i think this is a bug: When repeater is applied to a section, the login inside the section just follows the original selections, so does not work. Let me explain with an example: On the repeater section you have a three choice option field and: a upload that shows on choice 1 selected, a text if choice 2, and a text if choice 3. When you repeat the section, if on the first copy your seelcted choice is one, on the other will also show the “upload field” (choice one), even if you choose choice two on the second repeater. So all repeated section copies fail to process the logic.

Whenever I am using any options that use logic (Radio buttons, checkboxes, single select, etc.), the woocommerce cart page and checkout page seem to break, and if I try placing an order on a product with these options active, I get a 404 error. The other options (text, product, etc.) seem to be working fine and not breaking the checkout and cart. I’ve tried disabling the cart visibility of options, too, but it doesn’t seem to work. This has happened since I’ve upgraded woocommerce from 9.8.5 to the latest version. I’ve also updated all the orders to HPOS filesystems and enabled compatibility, but it is still breaking. Is there anything that you can suggest? P.S: This is on a friend’s website that I manage.

You can upload a single image or multiple images.

No, I mean the client (the visitor), if they wanna customize a product, they should be able to upload their own image. Is it possible with this plugin?

Yes, there are addons to use so that the visitor can upload a single image or multiple images.

Global Form does not show on all category products (where the category is already selected). Why?

I’m considering purchasing your WooCommerce Extra Product Options plugin. I saw in a recent comment (around 2 weeks ago) that you might be working on adding a “repeater fields” feature.

My use case is similar to booking flight tickets: for each quantity purchased (e.g., 3 tickets), I need the customer to fill in a set of fields per passenger:

First name Last name Phone Address Email Profession Employer (If student → School instead of employer)

Could you confirm if your plugin already supports this scenario (fields repeated dynamically based on product quantity), or if/when the repeater fields functionality will be available?

This feature is very important for my project, so any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

The function is available in the current version. As a disclaimer, please note that when you set a section to be a repeater, meaning it can be duplicated either manually or based on the product quantity, there are certain fields that cannot be used inside it. These include product elements, multiple upload fields, template elements, and dynamic elements, since those fields are not compatible with a repeatable setup.
