We’re using StackFood for a multi-restaurant food delivery project. In our country, addresses are managed hierarchically (Country > Division > District > Upazila > Union).

Currently, StackFood’s zone system works great with polygons, but we’re facing some challenges:

We have thousands of small local areas (like unions/villages). Selecting them one by one is difficult.

Many areas share the same name, which is confusing without their parent district context.

Restaurants want to serve multiple small areas but exclude specific ones within the same zone.

We would like to request:

A hierarchical location selection (Country → Division → District → Upazila → Union/Village) in admin and restaurant panels.

The ability for restaurants to select multiple local areas (and exclude some) within a zone.

An API or database structure to support unique IDs for each location.

This would help us manage marketing, notifications and restaurant delivery areas more efficiently.

If we purchase extended license , is there any restriction for using in multiple domains ? I would like to request the addition of some new features to enhance the StackFood system and make it more valuable for both customers and restaurant partners. The proposed features are as follows:

Multi-Zone Assigned Restaurant System

Restaurants should be able to operate in multiple zones and receive orders from more than one zone, depending on their coverage area.

This will allow restaurants with wider reach to serve more customers effectively.

Multi-Branch Management System

A single business owner should have the ability to manage multiple branches of their restaurant under one account.

Each branch can have its own menu, delivery radius, and availability while still being controlled from a central dashboard by the owner.

Restaurant-wise KM Allowed for Orders

Each restaurant should have a configurable maximum delivery distance (in KM) set by the admin/restaurant owner.

If a user tries to place an order beyond this set distance, either: a) The restaurant should not appear in the user’s app list, OR b) The user should see a warning message on checkout.

Checkout Page Disclaimer (Exclamation i)

On the checkout page, if the restaurant location and the user’s location exceed the set delivery distance (e.g., 3 KM), an information disclaimer (i) should be displayed.

Example message: “This restaurant is far away from your location. Delivery may take more time, and additional delivery fees could apply. Please consider choosing a nearby restaurant to avoid higher costs and delays.”

These features will:

Improve customer experience.

Reduce complaints about delayed deliveries.

Give restaurants better control over where they want to serve customers.

Optimize the overall order and delivery process.

In the next update, please consider adding support for banner advertisements for restaurants. Currently, there are only two promotion options available: restaurant promotion (which works very well) and video promotion.

However, the video promotion feature is not effective at the moment. Videos often buffer heavily or fail to load, making the experience frustrating for both businesses and users. It feels more like a gimmick than a functional tool.

If possible, please:

Fix the video buffering/loading issues

Add banner ad support as an alternative promotion method

Overall, just focus on making the promotion system more effective and reliable

Some essential features are missing in the coupon system as well:

Private Coupons: Currently, all coupons are visible to every user. There should be an option to create private or user-specific coupons.

Coupon Limit: There is no feature to set a usage limit for each coupon (e.g., limit to 100 uses). A system to restrict the total number of redemptions is needed.

Dear sir, every client is very important for us and we are providing dedicated support, though free support is limited to 6 months. But your last comment was very disrespectful and you need to understand from our point of view also. You just reopened an existing ticket a few hours ago, and you commented here immediately after reopening it. The assigned person also has a queue for his task but you are not understanding that and telling negative things. Here two things need to note first, your support has expired 1.5 years ago but we are still supporting you. Issue Report: Priority Setup Not Working Properly on Huge Data

Summary: The system has a priority setup where the logic should show nearest food items first. However, when the dataset is large, the filtering and sorting do not work correctly. Users often see distant foods instead of nearby ones when browsing by categories, cuisines, search bar, or popular foods nearby.

Steps to Reproduce:

Open the app.

Click on any category, cuisine, or search for a food item.

Observe the results.

Expected Result:

Foods should be displayed in proper priority order.

The nearest foods should always appear first, even when the dataset is large.

Actual Result:

On large datasets, the nearest-first logic is not applied properly.

Distant foods are shown on top instead of nearest ones.

Impact:

Users get irrelevant/distant results, leading to poor user experience.

Many users have already reported this issue.

Possible Cause:

Filtering/sorting logic not optimized for huge datasets.

Missing or inefficient query for nearest-first priority in database/app logic.

Action Required:

Ensure the priority logic (nearest food first) works for large datasets.

Optimize database queries (e.g., use geospatial indexing or proper ORDER BY distance in SQL).

Apply the same logic consistently across:

However, I would like to remind you that I raised this same concern about priority and nearest-first logic almost 3 months ago. At that time, I was informed that it might not work properly on huge datasets. Since then, we have received two updates, but this specific issue has not been addressed.

I completely agree that overall improvements and new features are valuable, but I believe fixing existing features to work as expected on a large data scale is even more critical. Without resolving this issue, the user experience is severely impacted, especially when searching, filtering categories/cuisines/best reviewed food, or viewing popular foods nearby.

From my perspective, this seems related to database indexing or optimization, which could potentially fix the issue. If possible, I request you to prioritize this in your upcoming updates. Even if it requires opening a dedicated support ticket, I kindly request you to do so.

This is my heartfelt request because I strongly believe resolving this will greatly benefit all StackFood users and ensure a smooth, reliable experience.

After the update to 8.4, there is no popup and sound for New order on admin dashboard as well as for the customers order notifications. Moreover, the order count goes wrong and I don’t why its showing one pending order and there is no pending order.

We are still facing major problems with notification sounds in the restaurant app and Delivery man app:

Background notification sound is still not fixed in this update.

Foreground notification sound is also not working properly.

Our restaurant partners are repeatedly raising complaints about this, as they are missing new order alerts. This issue is directly hurting our business, and we had already assured them that it would be fixed in the latest update. Immediate resolution is required.

Additionally, there is no login button for the restaurant panel.

We have been manually editing the code to add this, but every time a new update comes, we need to re-edit it.

This is one of the most essential features — having a restaurant panel but no login button does not make sense.

Requested Fixes:

Immediate resolution of background and foreground notification sound issues.

Permanent addition of a restaurant panel login button in the codebase. I already created the support ticked regarding these problem earlier, but not solved in this update too
