My site https://trackdrop.musickraze.com has been doing amazing with your software. We already have over 3,000 registered users and are getting more than 2,500 plays per day.
That said, I’m starting to get concerned about the size of the site — the database is currently around 75 GB. My question is: at some point, is it safe to remove or clean up certain data to manage the size, and if so, what would be the best way to do that without causing issues?
I really appreciate the work you’ve put into BeMusic and would be grateful for any guidance on safely managing storage as the site continues to grow.

And I can’t add Spotify playlists as a channel anymore. What are you doing with these updates I thought updates should add cool features not remove them
Spotify recently changed their API to not allow access to playlists that are created by them, there’s no much that can be done about this from BeMusic side unfortunately. Playlists created by users on spotify should still work though.

We’ve no plans for a native app at the moment.
Regarding API, yes, BeMusic has a fully featured Rest API. Everything that is possible on the website can be done via API as well.
This is a suggestion, not a question.
I’ve been using this app for quite some time and I love it! One thing I think would be useful is for “genres” to have “subgenres” within them, like categories that can be nested inside each other. Or if that’s not possible for genres as such, then add “Categories” (allowing some categories within others) as a new way of organizing and cataloging content. I think that would improve content cataloging.
Would it be possible to implement this in the next update?

Does it work if you set search to local only? If there are artists with the same name on spotify then local one might not show.
I created a song called pepemairena, it doesn’t exist on Spotify, but it can be found locally, but it can’t be found locally and on Spotify.

1. There’s no built-in option for this currently.
2. You can change name and logo from “admin > appearance > general” page. Or you can edit “manifest.json” file directly in BeMusic folder and change it there.
3. Can you clarify a bit on what are you having issues with specifically?
4. You can edit it from “admin > appearance > landing page”.
5. It’s most likely because that permission (eg. “play music”) exists on “users” role in “admin > roles” page, so all users on the site will inherit that permission. You will want to remove it from this role and add it to a subscription plan only instead.
6. The green checkmark will appear if user is subscribed to any plan.

6. You can upload a video/audio from admin area or edit a track and upload audio as a source. Youtube embed is only shown if there’s no other source for a track.

Can you try logging out on support site and then logging in again via “login with envato” button? That should sync the purchases automatically.
1- How do I disable advertising for a plan? I just created a plan and I can’t find where to enable the option to disable advertising on the plan. 2- How do I assign a plan to a user? I just created a VIP plan for my administrators. I want to disable advertising so that it doesn’t appear for administrators. I want to add the site administrator accounts to the plan myself, without them having to select it themselves. 3- Is it possible to disable ads for a single user and how to do this in the administrator settings?

When you click on “add new subscription” button on that page the first field should be “user”, you can select the user you want from there.
Hi I just wanted to let you know that after i let your script run for a few months then somehow eventually genres get all mixed up it never fails and i have to reinstall script and lose all my stored database. So I gave up, and this time I just stopped using genres.
