Unfortunately, there is currently no option available for this feature, and we are currently unable to confirm whether this feature will be included in future updates of Smart Hospital. Implementing Offline Mode via PWA
We would like to enhance the Smart Hospital solution to better support clients located in regions with frequent power outages and unstable Internet connections.
The goal is to implement offline-first capabilities for specific modules using a Progressive Web App (PWA) with a Service Worker and automatic data synchronization once the Internet connection is restored.

Many of our clients experience unstable electricity and frequent Internet disruptions.
Currently, all functionalities depend on a stable cloud connection.
We want to introduce a PWA update so that:
Certain essential modules remain usable offline
Data syncs automatically once the network is back online
No complex local installation is required → users simply install the PWA from the browser (“Add to Home Screen”).

I’ve noticed some issues. For example, when a doctor logs in, they can currently view all appointments across all doctors. This should not happen.. Appointments must be restricted to the specific doctor. Each doctor should have their own separate table, since doctors are not typically treated as staff. Additionally, if the doctor’s fee had been linked directly to their profile, the overall process would have been much simpler and less complex.

Smart Hospital Android App admin app is under development and it will take time to release. Please note that the current Patient App does not support staff or admin role-based logins. To address this, a separate dedicated app for staff and admin access is planned for future release. This application is going with our needs.. but one thing our maximum doctors are in commission based.. they are not our employees. Commission based on Patient (suppose a doctor recommend a patient, then doctor will get 5% commission per day or at the patient discharge time), Appointments etc… And doctor can see their own details, commission etc when login. We suggest integrating the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standard into Smart Hospital. FHIR enables secure and standardized medical data exchange (patients, encounters, prescriptions, results, imaging) across facilities and third-party applications. This would support a shared medical record, improve interoperability with other healthcare systems, and prepare the platform for national digital health projects.
Unfortunately, there is currently no support available for FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) in Smart Hospital. However, we will try to add the FHIR (HL7 standard) feature in upcoming future updates of Smart Hospital.

When a patient books an appointment through the front-facing site, the selected date and time slot is fixed for that patient, so appointment overlaps do not occur in this case.
However, when an appointment is booked through the admin panel (by any staff member), the system allows flexibility in managing slots. This means the selected slot can be changed/rescheduled if required, which may sometimes result in overlapping appointments.

Smart Hospital currently doesn’t have an SAAS version; however, we are working on its SAAS version, and it will take time to release and is expected to take a minimum of 6 more months to release (but don’t consider it as a final date).

Vital sign is the first important info that Doctors need to see but in the script it is hidden in the last. this info must be implemented into the appointment page.
In majority of hospitals, patients make the payment at the reception and then proceed for their consultation, during which vitals are taken. For this reason, Smart Hospital currently provides the option to add vitals at central place in opd, ipd or profile.
However, in some hospitals, vitals are recorded at the time of payment or during OPD creation, before the patient doctor consultation. Unfortunately currently, Smart Hospital does not have an option for this. But we are planning to introduce a feature that allows vitals to be added while creating the OPD.

In Pathology/Radiology module if any patient come from same hospital IPD/OPD for pathology test then you should enter prescription no. so system will automatically fetch patient name, test details from prescription no. then further proceed for test billing and report preparation. In other cases like outside hospital or independent patient you should enter new patient details and further start adding there test details then further proceed for test billing and report preparation.

Hi, Since you’re talking about TPA, why not consider adding the TPA report and include the option where patients’ invoices could be sent to their insurance company for coverage or payment of the invoice? On this topic, I have a question: how would it work if the patient needs to pay 60% of the invoice and the insurance covers the remaining 40%? Can this be configured this way?

Unfortunately, the auto-update feature is not available for updating Smart Hospital from version 5.0 to 6.0. This is due to the introduction of the new Multibranch addon, which required significant changes to the database. As a result, a one-click auto-update is not possible for this version.
