For the life of me i can’t get installation to work enough to where all the Admin tools, login, register to function. everything just redirects back to the homepage.
Used nginx, then fresh install with apache, then fresh install with php 8.3 then with 8.1, all the same issue. did everything i could with dns, same problem. for the life of me i can’t get this to work correctly.

It’s been a long time since we haven’t reached out here.
I have a very simple question, I hope you can help me find out.
The current themes – Default and YouPlay, when we import a YouTube video, it will be displayed as an embedded video in our watch page, and all the links on the YouTube video (video title link, share link, more info link, YouTube icon link, and related YouTube videos) on the watch page can’t be clicked, very nice. very nice.
Please advise, where to control this? Any CSS in these themes? Or extra layers? Please feel free to let me know.

I was prepared to buy this script and get an additional service, but after checking the reviews and seeing that Adsterra and Vast ads don’t work with the script, I’m giving up and waiting for it to be fixed. Without these issues resolved, there’s no way to monetize the site.

I’m trying to use a remote MySQL database hosted on DigitalOcean with my PlayTube script. DigitalOcean uses port 25060 by default for MySQL, but I noticed that PlayTube is configured to use the default MySQL port 3306.
Could you please guide me on:
How to connect PlayTube to a remote MySQL database?
How to change the MySQL port from 3306 to 25060 in the PlayTube configuration files so I can connect to DigitalOcean’s database?

To connect PlayTube to your DigitalOcean MySQL (port ‘25060’): 1. Allow remote access in your DigitalOcean DB firewall (whitelist your server IP). 2. Edit PlayTube’s config file config.php and update the host to include the port:

Save changes, clear the cache, and test the connection.
