Can I use this system as Affiliate website only and not ecommerce system, which comes with it? I may use Magento in future, but for now, I only want to use Affiliate system, so I can track how users are referring others and things like that.
Also, can every user (no affiliate registration) act as referrar? e.g. User1 is normal user on website. If that website offers some promotion on particular product then can user1 start referring people online and get refrral points when they join? Other joined users can also do same. So in essence, everyone can be referrer. No need of affiliate registration.

Yes, you can use the system as a standalone affiliate platform without enabling the built-in e-commerce store. You can integrate Magento or other platforms later using our API and postback tools.
2. Auto Referral Without Registration:
To track referrals and commissions, a user must be registered as an affiliate inside the AffiliatePro platform. Regular users from your external site cannot act as referrers unless they complete affiliate registration.

What needs to be done to make every user as affiliate? because I’m looking for simple affiliate program, where every user can refer other users and grow the platform. e.g. If I launch an offer to sell a product, I want to give some rewards to every user, who refers others. How it can be done?

Yes. Sort of like that. e.g. Can every affiliate act as normal user using single login? They can refer other people and get rewards (commission) and still act as customer? In short, I want system, where any user or affiliate can act as person, who can refer others, collect his/her points (rewards or commission) and be a customer or buyer of the products on my website. In short, no need to be normal user and affiliate (as two separate accounts) on website. If your Affiliate account can act as normal user, it would work. Let me know if you got the concept and whether it’s possible in this script.
No script can act like that and automatically register users from your site into the script without a custom API integration. In short, this type of action needs to be customized on your site code[if it is a custom site].

You did not understand my requirement. When I install your website script, every affiliate should be able to create their own affiliation link or collect their points or referrals based on whatever logic you use. There should be no concept of normal user and affiliate as separate entity. Even one affiliate can refer another affiliate and if that person buy something, original referrer should get their points/credit/benefit or whatever you can say it. In short, everyone can refer anyone, who is registered on website. [As far as user synch is concerned, I can use the registered users(affiliates) from your script and use them as normal users in my website. They will have same usernames and passwords, you don’t have to worry about that aspect]
It works the same! Every affiliate that registers can invite anyone to be an affiliate and then earn an MLM commission as well.
Okay. I’m buying it as per your explanation. I’m hoping that every affiliate can refer any other person as affiliate and earn commission, when they join. Also when those affiliates buy any other products or service from the website, the original referrer will get commission.

You can create a separate order integrations campaign for each of your Shopify stores, and the best way is to test it for free by using our demo and the guide: https://affiliatepro.org/kb-article/add-new-sale-campaign/, and once the campaign is saved so you will be able to see the full Shopify integration instructions.
No need to pay so much money to online platforms. You can buy a very stable script/system for a few dollars and manage it on your hosting/server.
What about add a subid, a unique id to every click?
Each affiliate auto receives a unique ID for each campaign you create as an admin.
But that is not a subid, that is the affiliate id.

Despite the repeated denials of the author and their support team, there is 1000% a compatibility issue between this script and OpenLiteSpeed servers – and I’ve just proved it.
Out of the box, this script will NOT work on an OpenLiteSpeed server. Despite telling them that my server is OpenLiteSpeed – NOT Nginx – and that mod_rewrite is enabled and the .htaccess file is present, they wouldn’t listen. Just kept spouting the same old nonsense about it being a server configuration, blah blah blah.
Well, that’s rubbish, because I fixed it myself. You need to change the following part of their .htaccess file from this:
- Add this to handle requests to your CodeIgniter front controller RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/(index\.php|assets|robots\.txt|favicon.ico) RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.)$ index.php/$1 [L,QSA]
To this:
- Add this to handle requests to your CodeIgniter front controller RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/(index\.php|assets|robots\.txt|favicon.ico) RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^/(.)$ index.php?/$1 [L]
It’s the last line that needs to be changed. You can find an example of this on the OpenLiteSpeed site here: https://docs.openlitespeed.org/config/rewriterules/.
That just proves how useless the support is. Be warned about purchasing this script or renewing your support. You’re basically just paying to be able to email somebody. They won’t help you.
1000% proven this author wrong. At first they claimed that I had an Nginx server, then that I didn’t have mod_rewrite enabled, then that I didn’t have a .htaccess file present. All incorrect. It’s their rewrite rules not being compatible with OpenLiteSpeed servers that’s the issue.
Not sure if that’s a common problem with CodeIgniter apps – I use Laravel or WordPress – but to just flat out deny that there’s a problem, and that it’s all the fault of my server configuration, is just plain wrong.
Thankfully I have a lot of experience of server admin (but not CodeIgniter apps). I could easily have spent hours/days trying to sort this out, based on their “support”.
This is the line that needs to be changed: RewriteRule ^(.)$ index.php/$1 [L,QSA]. It needs to be changed to this: RewriteRule ^/(.)$ index.php?/$1 [L].
