Is there a way to limit how far the user can zoom in using the zoom controls on the map? Basically, I only have cities for my addresses, so I don’t want the user to zoom in to far and think the pins are exact.

sorry that is currently not supported in gmaps settings.

Very good plugin, thanks! We love it for our

Mobile IV Therapy Long Island website!

Thank you for the feedback

When searching for specific cities, the plugin will sometimes sit there and just think and never load. The console error says it is an InvalidValueError: LatLngAltitude: ‘lng’ invalid: NaN is not an accepted value but we have latitude and longitude entered and correct.

Hi, in version 2.2.7 the Marker Cluster doesn’t work. Console shows errors like:

Uncaught TypeError: t.getDraggable is not a function

Uncaught TypeError: e.lat is not a function

It seems the plugin now uses AdvancedMarkerElement, but still loads the old clusterer which only supports google.maps.Marker. Can you confirm and let me know if a fix is planned?

Thanks.

Please update our plugin as we fixed that in 2.2.8.

Thanks, I hadn’t noticed the update. It works great now! I have a website with about 20k stores to display. New ones will be added every month. Do you think the plugin will be able to handle it?

Of course this should be handable

Hi, Can I use this plugin with single license for one domain but multiple sites ? For eg I need to use this twice for 2 sites i.e. xyz.com/a and xyz.com/b

Hi there,

when you have a multisite then yes of course.

Hey, pre-sales q (hope it hasn’t been answered already, if so haven’t found it): we have ~1500 posts (CPT) with geolocation data in an ACF gmap field. They’re translated with Polylang into 4 languages. Can WP Store Locator somehow be coaxed into using ACF geolocation metafields?

After looking at the Demo backend, another question popped up: finding addresses doesn’t seem to use any Places API, relying on fully manual address entry instead. Is that correct or can data be semi-automatically gathered from Google or Mapbox?

Sorry we use own internal lat / lng geodata post meta fields and not ACF. Also we do not support polylang to fullest.

When I’m logged into WordPress, my. map works. When I’m logged out, I get the error below. Any idea why?

An Error Occured: 200 SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data! Please contact System Administrator!

Please send admin access and your store locator URL to support@welaunch.io

Is it possible to display one category per page? I mean, I need to show one province per page.

Hi there, yes, you can use our shortcode with predefined filter for each province and create pages for each.

Good afternoon, we would like to know if there is a way to view the store in mobile in a more professional way. This is my website

https://optimal-web-design.com/cr/mapa/?radius=400

And in mobile it looks bad, I can’t find a way to make it look decent, ideally there should be mobile options or at least when I click on filters it takes me to the point of the map I select or the branch I selected, but it doesn’t happen. I need options and the documentation is very poor.

Hi there, we just tested your page but it works good for us on mobile. Can you send a screen recording maybe to support@welaunch.io with a better explanation?

Hi, would it be possible to have the plugin Version 2.0.13 ? I would need to use this to verify the custom changes made on our site that were skipped when updating the theme to the latest version.

Please submit a ticket on our website or send your request including your valid codecanyon purchase code to support@welaunch.io

I opened the ticket but never received a response

What is the ticket id you received?

Hi,

the download have Version 2.2.1 and not 2.2.3. Where we get the latest version?

Thanks

Can this work with pabbly connect? Instead of uploading with excel sheet, can i integrate a google sheet so that whenever data goes in the google sheet, store details is updated in my storelocator app?

We have a built in excel file import only. For everything else you may use wp all import plugin.

Can i make my store locator private? Only people who login should be able to see the stores there. My use case is that I will make store locator of hardware shops, plywood stores etc across the city and then I want to give access to this to all the interior designers of the city. I dont want my store locator data to be visible without login.

You can set the store locator page to password protected or get a plugin to force login to see content.

Does this support webhook? I purchased it but never used this. Now thinking of buying support . Before that i want to know if I can update the tables via webhooks?

Hi there,

what exactly do you mean with webhooks and update tables? Can you give an example?

For example, when a store form is filled, i want to send the data to webhook (via apps like zapier or pabbly ) and then automatically update in the store locator’s backend. Wordpress does supports webhook. My users case is that i intend to make store locator for all hardware shops in chandigarh. When the hardware shop owner fills a form (like jotform or any other zapier compatible form), automatically data should appear in store locator. Is it possible?

We use normal wp posts so built in wp hooks will work. However also for this integration you need 3rd party plugins or custom code.

Can we allow third party users to manage indiviual store details? Like they can log in and change the opening and closing times?

Well currently not, but we can customize / add this feature for you on Charge. Contact us at support@welaunch.io

Hello; which technologies or infrastructures does the plugin use for location detection? What can be done to achieve more accurate location detection? Do you recommend any additional service integration, or something similar?

We use HTML5 geolocation with exact accurate positioning. That is the only possible way to get a users location in current web standards.

I’m reaching out for assistance with an issue we’re encountering with the Store Locator plugin on our WooCommerce site.

Here’s the problem: On our product pages, we expect the Store Locator to display only the stores that belong to the same categories as the product. This behavior would allow customers to see relevant stores where they can purchase the product. However, we’ve noticed that the plugin is displaying all store categories, regardless of the product’s assigned categories.

To clarify:

1. Expected Behavior: Only stores that are in the same categories as the product should be displayed on that product’s page. 2. Current Behavior: All store categories are being shown on the product page, irrespective of the product’s category assignment. Here’s what we’ve tried so far:

We disabled our custom code and reverted to the plugin’s default WooCommerce integration, but the issue persists. - Even with filters enabled, the plugin still displays all categories. When our custom code is applied, it correctly filters and shows only the stores that match the product categories, but this doesn’t work when filters are turned off. - Our goal is to have the Store Locator display only the relevant stores based on the product’s categories, even when filters are disabled. Could you please help us understand if this is possible with the current plugin setup, or if there’s a specific configuration or customization needed to achieve this?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

We are currently using this on the demo with the bridge theme and elementor. We placed it on a page created with elementor using the shortcode. We set the container it is in to full width. There is no problem while loading the page. However, when you search and select an address that is not a store, first a loading spinner spins on a screen. Then the map and sidebar remain small, although they should be full width. And if I search for a place with a store again, a loading spinner appears again, this time it reaches the width and height it should be.

There is a warning in the console. Are you aware of it?

As of February 21st, 2024, google.maps.Marker is deprecated. Please use google.maps.marker.AdvancedMarkerElement instead.

Yes we are aware and will fix that soon.
