As an active user of the Varient News & Magazine Script, I truly appreciate the clean interface, flexibility, and robust features your platform provides. To further enhance the experience for news publishers and improve audience engagement, I would like to suggest the addition of two powerful and commonly used features in modern news websites:

Live Blog Module:

A dedicated live blog format for covering real-time events such as elections, sports matches, breaking news, etc.

Key features may include timestamped updates, media embeds (images/videos), auto-refresh, and real-time post additions from the backend.

Google Web Stories Integration:

An option to create and manage AMP-based visual stories (similar to Instagram/Facebook stories) that can be indexed by Google.

It can help increase reach through mobile-friendly, immersive storytelling formats.

Both features are widely adopted by leading news media platforms and would significantly enhance Varient’s capabilities, attracting more users and publishers to your script.

Hello, thanks for your feedback!

Our next two major updates will focus on adding a premium membership system and a brand new admin panel. After that, we’ll likely start working on new themes. As for the two features you mentioned, we’re not sure if we will implement them in the future. If we receive more requests from our users, we may consider it, but for now, we have no plans to add these features.

Where did my SUGGESTION message go? – I purchased this script, I made some suggestions – I have a 12 month Support contract – I think acceptance of suggestions is part of the ‘SUPPORT’ – I wasn’t asking for any changes… I was SUGGESTING as so many others have done here too! DARK MODE in the BACK END! THE ABILITY TO TURN OFF SHARING THE ABILITY TO BLOCK IPs (abusive visitors).

Hello,

We checked this and saw that you submitted this message as a review, not as a message or comment. Thank you for your nice feedback!

Suggestions are not covered by our support policy. Product support is mainly for technical questions and issues related to the product, and you’re always welcome to reach out for help. However, whether under support or not, we always value suggestions from our customers.

We have purchased a license from another theme vendor (one of the top sellers) that allows us to redistribute a new admin panel design. The new admin panel will be more modern and include dark mode. In the next update, we are planning to focus on the premium membership feature, so we are not sure if we can integrate this new panel in that release. However, this change will definitely be included in one of the next two major updates, and the admin panel design will be completely updated to be much more modern.

Users can be blocked via the admin panel, but IP blocking is slightly different. It is better to handle this through cPanel or directly using the .htaccess file. Because such requests must be blocked at the server layer before they reach the application layer. However, more security measures will be added in the future, such as rate limiting, two-factor authentication, and email domain blocking.

Thanks.

can you add wasabi stroge

Feature Wasabi AWS S3
--—- ---- ---------
Storage Cost \\$5.99/TB/month (flat) \\$23/TB/month (Standard)
Egress (Download) Free \~\$90/TB egress (varies by region)
API Requests Free unlimited Paid (GET, PUT, LIST, etc. are metered)
Minimum Storage 90 days minimum No minimum

also can you add ffmpeg

We’re not trying to compare brands here. What we’ve written is purely for informational purposes. However, you might be looking at this from the wrong angle. For a typical website, uploading 1TB of data is highly unlikely. And even if you don’t use that much storage, Wasabi still charges you for the full 1TB minimum.

For example, if you only upload 40GB, AWS S3 might actually be cheaper than Wasabi. But this isn’t really about comparing it to AWS S3. That’s not the main point.

With services like Cloudflare R2 or Backblaze B2, you could end up paying significantly less, or even nothing at all, if your website is small.

We recommend doing a bit more research on this topic.

Great work!

Thank you!

I don’t know user registration auto user name like this heighthodrh how can possible with without name registration scripting problem or I don’t know what is problem,, if any want know this issue fix please kindly help me

In a future update, we may implement a system that automatically removes older posts from the slider, featured, and recommended sections. However, we cannot make any promises or provide a specific timeline at this time.

Posts are listed from latest to oldest in the “Posts” section of the admin panel, with each post having its own ID number. Additionally, to track edited posts, you may want to enable the “Approve Updated User Posts” setting.

Our next two major updates will focus on introducing a premium membership system and a brand-new admin panel. After that, we’ll likely begin working on new themes. Depending on our workload, we may also develop additional features and improvements, but nothing is certain at this point.

if you don’t mind i think next update something chnage is batter language and post separate like english post list separate and other language post is separate list because Posts Show Language Type Post Type Category Subcategory now all post is one list arabic and english or other same list there is have problem, if want old post update and modify scelect number and Language Post Type Category Subcategory User Search then filter that is too much problem english post list and other language list bottun is batter

There are already filtering options available in the “Posts” section of the admin panel. You can filter products by language, post type, category, subcategory, and author. There’s also a search bar to search by text. These options should allow you to filter posts effectively.

As mentioned in our previous response, we are planning to work on the premium membership feature and a new admin panel in the upcoming updates. While additional improvements may be made in the future, for now, we will be focusing on these features.

Thank you.

Hello Team,

What if I don’t want to have a dropdown menu from my nav? when I create a category for the post, it comes with a dropdown

Hello,

We assume you’re referring to the dropdown that displays some posts under a category in the main menu. Unfortunately, there is no option to disable this feature. If you would like to remove it, you’ll need to modify the code manually.

However, unless this is a critical change, we generally don’t recommend editing the code, as any custom modifications will be lost when you update your site in the future.

“There is currently no estimated release date for our next update, but we are planning to focus on the premium membership feature. “

Could you save me refreshing every day to see if there’s an update and get some kinda of ETA? :) :)

—have had great success with Google listing, the API works very fast, also Adsense has doubled since I installed this script couple months ago, I put a lot of work into it too but the extensive optimization techniques you use do wonders.

- Unique content is important, could you perhaps mix the automated rss feeds with the AI Writer to automatically come up with unique content based on the feed title/text? I’ve used the AI Writer a lot, you still have to review and make small edits but over all it works great and constantly evolving/improving, it’s definitely the future of journalism.

Also could you consider a better spell checker for articles?

Thanks again!

Hello,

We generally don’t share estimated release dates. We are constantly working on our three scripts, and once an update is ready, we release it. We understand that this may create some curiosity, but on the other hand, if the update dates change or get delayed for any reason, it puts additional pressure on us and negatively affects our workflow. For this reason, unfortunately, fulfilling this request is not possible at the moment. However, rest assured that great updates will continue to be released:)

We’re glad to hear that. We’re also confident that this is largely dependent on the quality of your content. If there are no issues with the software and the content quality is high, your rankings on Google will naturally improve over time.

Yes, there may be changes in this section in the future. There may also be new API options. For now, we have only added Open AI as a start. Gemini and other options may be added in the future.

Actually, there is currently no spell checker in our script. What you mentioned is probably the browser’s built-in spell check.

Thanks!

Dear Development Team,

We’re excited about the upcoming version update and look forward to purchasing the script once it’s released. After reviewing the demo, we’ve compiled a list of suggestions to enhance the platform’s functionality:

1. Notification System: Implement a robust notification system to keep users informed about updates, comments, and other relevant activities. 2. User Profile Enhancements: Add phone number fields to user profiles for improved communication. Additionally, consider enhancing user profiles with customizable backgrounds, avatars, and bio sections. 3. Company Landing Page: Create a dedicated company landing page showcasing company information, intro, and mission, in addition to the blog section. 4. Website Settings Module: Introduce a comprehensive website settings module allowing admins to customize: – Homepage content and layout – Slider management – Footer and header customization – Other website-wide settings 5. Email Templates: Include pre-designed email templates for newsletters and transactional emails to streamline communication. 6. Earning Feature Automation: Enable users to opt-in for earning features by purchasing premium packages or free memberships, with admin-controlled flexibility. 7. User Role Management: Allow users to switch between reader and author roles or enable both features simultaneously, with optional admin oversight. 8. Analytics Integration: Integrate Google Analytics or similar tools to provide valuable insights into website performance and user behavior.

Additional features we’d like to suggest:

1. Subscription Plans: Offer monthly/yearly subscription plans for premium features, exclusive content, or ad-free experience. 2. Monetization Options: Allow authors to monetize their content through various options. 3. Advertising: Integrate display ads, sponsored content, or native advertising options. 4. Affiliate Marketing: Enable affiliate marketing opportunities for authors or the platform. 5. Sponsored Content: Allow brands to create sponsored content, product placements, or influencer partnerships. 6. Gamification: Introduce gamification elements, such as badges or rewards, to encourage engagement. 7. Author Insights: Provide authors with insights into their content’s performance, engagement, and earnings. 8. Platform Analytics: Offer admins analytics and insights into platform performance, user behavior, and revenue generation.

We believe these features will enhance the platform’s usability, functionality, and user experience, ultimately driving revenue and growth.

Thank you for considering our suggestions. We look forward to the updated version.

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in our script!

There is currently no estimated release date for our next update, but we are planning to focus on the premium membership feature. Aside from a few other minor fixes, the update will primarily revolve around this functionality.

Some of the features you mentioned are already available in our script. Apart from that, features like “phone number fields”, “Company Landing Page”, “Gamification” and ” Affiliate Marketing” are unlikely to be added.

Features like Monetization Options, Advertising, Email Templates(a single theme), Earning Feature Automation, User Role Management and Analytics Integration are already available in our script. The other features may be added in the future, as we continuously improve and expand our script over time.

Thank you!

Hello, I hope you’re doing well! Just a quick reminder regarding the sticky Table of Contents: I believe the most suitable placement for it would be instead of the Popular Posts section. its is perfectly positioned and already functions properly as a sticky element. and typically same width and visual
Best Regards,

Hello ,sorry i didn’t get what you said, do you mean that you are not going to add the sticky table of contents ?

Hello, yes, that’s correct. As we explained, there is no space in the layout to place it. However, if you want to fix the section where the links are located, you can easily do this by wrapping that part in a ”.sticky-lg-top” div. If that’s what you’re looking for, you can contact us through our support desk. Other than that, we are not planning to make any changes to this section, as, as you can see, there’s no space available for this.

ok i have sent for you through the support desk

Please check the newest Google News module and update the platform accordingly. Google Publisher Center is gone for adding feeds.

Hello, we will make the necessary updates regarding Google News in the next update. Thanks.

Hello,

I truly appreciate the Varient Script. I prefer not to start my projects with WordPress; however, the copy-paste issue in tinyMCE is delaying the launch of my projects.

I would like to copy and paste content directly from a Word (.docx) file. Unfortunately, if the content contains tables, this becomes impossible. Manually creating tables within the editor is also very time-consuming.

I kindly request a solution to this issue. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Hello,

There’s not much we can do regarding this issue. We’ve integrated the free version of TinyMCE into the script. If we had integrated the paid version, a license would need to be purchased for your site, allowing you to use additional plugins (such as copy-pasting from Word). You can still do this if you wish, but due to licensing restrictions, we are not authorized to do it on your behalf. We must fully comply with the license terms of all third-party tools we use.

The current free version already covers almost everything needed in general use. Instead of changing the entire text editor, it would be more practical for you to find a solution on your end. For example, you can use tools like Google Docs to convert your .docx files into HTML, then paste the result directly into the editor using the “source code” (`<>`) option. We recommend exploring such alternative methods.

Best regards

For a future update, I think the comment option should be optional, since if I disable this option it disappears completely. I want to enable comments for specific posts, so the comment option can be activated.

Hello, thanks for the feedback. We’ll consider this option in future updates.

If possible add news sitemap in next update in which last 4 days posts are shown only.

Good for news sites and it’s ranking. Because old news becomes irrelevant most of time and google crawler craw all sitemap.

And left latest post most of time

Asking for news-sitemap.xml

Because google no longer take feed URLs now.

They changed there indexing method no rss/feed required for index in Google news.

Majority of news sites have there news-sitemap.xml

In which last 4 to 5 days news are show only.

This help them much.

The current version includes Google News and general RSS feeds, but there is no option for a news-sitemap.xml that lists only the records from the last 4–5 days. However, we will add this to our update list and investigate the latest developments from Google on this matter. If Google News is now working this way, we will update our system accordingly.

Thank you for the feedback.

Hello sir

How r u

Humble request to please add category wise registration in next update

Hello,

Thank you! We hope you’re doing well too.

We’re considering making this an optional feature—allowing admins to assign authors to specific categories. However, we haven’t decided when this feature will be implemented yet.

As we’ll be focusing on adding the premium membership feature in the next major update, we’re unsure when this feature might be introduced.

Please stay tuned for our updates for more features and improvements.

Hello Team as i saw in admin there no option to edit main/parent categories so from where i can edit

Hello,

All categories can be found in the “Categories” section of the admin panel. You can edit both parent and subcategories from this section.

Thank you.

Can it be used for only one category of news? Also which license to be purchased if we wish to monetize using ads and similar stuffs?

Hello,

You can freely manage the categories and the content of your site. However, if you were referring to something else, please provide more details.

You can purchase a regular license. Both the regular and extended licenses offer the same features. However, the extended license is primarily intended for developers. With an extended license, you can make significant modifications to the code and sell the final product to one of your clients under your own brand. If you plan to use the script for your own project, the regular license will suffice, as there are no feature restrictions.

Thank you for your interest in our Varient script.

https://magazine.doctorsexplain.net/ Whoops! We seem to have hit a snag. Please try again later… after countless attempts to update. Tried reaching out via cheruolevicheptora@gmail.com

Hello,

You need to open the .env file of your website, which can be found at the root directory of your site files (this is generally the “public_html” folder), and change ’’CI_ENVIRONMENT = production’’ value to ’’CI_ENVIRONMENT = development’’. After making this change, you will see the complete error page when you open your site again. After taking a screenshot of the error, you should change the ’’CI_ENVIRONMENT’’ value back to ’’production’’.

Dear codingest team Hi ,i recently purchased my 3rd license for new projects.but still waiting for multi level categories option like wordpress as we discussed earlier. it still parent and subcategory,i want to add one more category in subcategory option, can you please mention ETA for this option because its main requirement of my project.Thank You

Hi, thanks! It’s great to see you’re using it in your new projects. We’re planning to make some changes to the category system based on recent requests. However, since we’ll be focusing on adding the premium membership feature in the next major update, we’re not sure if we’ll be able to work on the category system in this release. So yes, it’s in our plans, but unfortunately there’s no estimated date yet. Thank you.

hi, Is the script accepted for google Adsense so I can apply for approval after installing it in my domain?

Hi, yes, many of our customers who use our script have been approved by AdSense and are successfully displaying AdSense ads on their websites. Thanks.

thanks for your reply. it’s my pleasure to be one of your customers

Thank you for your interest in our script!

Hello, I added a content and selected the option for this content to be visible only to users. When I looked at the topic as a guest from a different browser, it directed me directly to the sign up page. This is correct, but since I have an account, it would be more correct to direct it directly to the login page. If you make it a new tab on the existing registration page, it would be more correct to direct it to the first login page. When the user with an account is directed to the login page, they log in directly. It would be more convenient for users without an account to click on the sign up tab there and switch to the registration option. If you make such an option in the next update, it would be more convenient and user-friendly. Thank you in advance.

Yes, it is likely that such optional features will be added. Thanks.

Ok thank you, I wish you good work.

Thank you!
