I saw that the download only works if I upload the MP3 file. Due to policy issues, it’s not possible with YouTube links. However, if I add a link from https://mydomain.com/audio.mp3, the download doesn’t work. Is there a way to enable the download this way? By embedding an MP3 file link?

If you mean you want to import artist/album/track or playlist by Spotify ID then yes, this can be done from admin area.
Hi, I need help setting up Cloudflare R2, please As I told you previously I created R2 bucket and I’m able to upload tracks to R2 from Bemusic but the tracks are not playing, when I upload images for (tracks, albums, artists) I’m not able to see the images being uploaded and they don’t show on Bemusic but in reality they are already sent to R2. I have tried every thing to solve the issue but it seems no solution for it. Digital ocean spaces worked for me but I don’t want to use it since it is much more expensive than R2 and my domain is registered with Cloudflare and uses Cloudflare’s CDN. This issue is holding me from uploading tracks and images to my site, I really need this issue get resolved please. Thank you.

Hi, Finally I was able to set up R2 and got it working by following ChatGPT instructions. It was a steep learning curve but after spending a lot of time I was able to get it right. Beside that I have some other questions: 1, How to edit the footer? – In addition to “copyright” I want to add other links like “about”, “terms & conditions”... I can’t find the file location to edit it. 2. In the admin area I was able to implement alphabetical order for artists but in the front end it looks artists are shown based on who was added first, second… For example if you have a genre called Jazz and click on Jazz artists the artists are not showing alphabetically (Bemuisc puts the first added artist second, second added artist first and so on… and sometimes it looks random). How can I make Bemusic show artists alphabetically on the front end? 3, When users register with social accounts (Google, Twitter) and try to add password to their account Bemusic asks for current password that they didn’t create. It should not ask for a password that was not creatd – This needs an update. Thanks.
1. You can add menu items to it from “admin > appearance > menu manager” page.
2. You can edit the genre channel from “admin > channels” page and then select the ordering you want from there.
3. This will be fixed with next update.

You should be able to change it from “admin > translations” page.
If you just need to change that text to something else then you can use the translations for this, then you will not need to modify files directly.
Sorry there is no such a thing called ’’Copyright © 2025 mysite’’ in the localization section, can you just tell me the file location so I can edit it from there?
You can add it manually via “add new translation” button, if it does not exist already for some reason:

As a long-time BeMusic user and active member of the buyer community, I want to share concerns that many of us have been discussing — both publicly in forums and privately in direct conversations.
Since the last update, BeMusic has shown a noticeable decline in performance. Search no longer works reliably, some features are broken, and the user experience feels incomplete. These issues have not been addressed with the urgency many of us expected.
A major part of the problem stems from recent changes to the Spotify API, which BeMusic depends on heavily. Many endpoints are now restricted or deprecated, and this has directly impacted the functionality of the script. Despite this, there has been little communication or direction from the developer on how the product will adapt.
What’s more, it’s clear from speaking with other buyers that this is not an isolated frustration — it’s a shared sentiment. We’ve compared notes, exchanged fixes, and voiced the same concern: BeMusic is falling behind, while competing scripts are already evolving to meet the new standards and ecosystem changes.
We urge the developers to take action, communicate clearly, and consider how others in the market are moving forward. There’s still time to rebuild trust — but it requires transparency, responsiveness, and adaptation to today’s developer realities.

The spotify API changes only affect similar artists importing and automatically importing playlists made by spotify (importing playlists made by other users on spotify should work properly). We’re looking into alternative APIs for this, but no ETA for it yet.
Regarding performance, there should not be any changes between previous and current version. Are you seeing this issue on demo site as well?

I personally reinstalled the script on two powerful VPS servers, fully equipped for high-volume use, and the same problems persist: search issues, Spotify API errors, and unstable performance. A colleague also reverted to the previous version, and everything worked perfectly — no Spotify issues, stable search, and smooth operation.
After closely inspecting the code, it’s clear the new version contains numerous deprecated elements, and while some can be disabled via .env, the Spotify API problems and other inconsistencies remain.
These are not just my observations or imagined issues. Multiple buyers in forums and private conversations share this frustration. The demo site might work fine in ideal conditions, but real-world usage exposes these problems.
I urge you to recognize the broader concerns and consider adapting the product to today’s evolving API landscape. Transparency, proactive communication, and timely updates are crucial if BeMusic is to maintain trust and keep pace with competitors.

I am sharing a consolidated summary of the ongoing issues I have reported regarding the latest BeMusic script updates and Spotify API integration. This is to put everything on record clearly, as I’ve provided detailed information over many emails without satisfactory resolution.
Main Issues Experienced Frequent Spotify API errors including “Error … null” and HTTP 429 (rate limit exceeded) despite using a legitimate Spotify developer API key.
Inconsistent and unreliable search results — some tracks and artists appear intermittently or not at all.
Radio and similar artists functionality broken or severely delayed since last script update.
SQL deadlock errors during artist inserts: SQLSTATE: Serialization failure: 1213 Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction.
No built-in way to rescrape or reload thousands of artists and tracks after toggling deprecated API support.
The prior version of the script (which I have tested side-by-side) works perfectly with the same Spotify API keys and environment.
Many other users have reported similar issues, so it is not isolated to my setup.
The demo site and your provided API keys work fine but are not representative of real-world usage or updated environments.
Your own recommendation to use the developer API does not resolve the issues. (Also very limited)
Nulled versions of your script that use your API keys work without these problems, indicating the issues are in the recent official update’s code.
Despite my detailed feedback and multiple requests, no fix or rollback option is provided.
You confirm only the latest version is available on CodeCanyon, so reverting is not officially possible.

I’ve looked into the two versions you mentioned and the spotify code between them is identical, there’s no reason that one should cause the issue.

I must insist on this issue because it’s important to clarify the situation:
1️⃣ Spotify API Limitations: The new Spotify API system (after November 25, 2024) severely limits key functionalities such as Similar Artists and Radio, Serach, especially if using the developer version of the API. Also, the developer API has a hard limit of 25 users which makes it unsuitable for most commercial implementations.
2️⃣ Spotify API Usage: Your Spotify Client ID and Client Secret are widely distributed (nulled) and used by many platforms. Ironically, those same credentials work flawlessly in other scripts, while BeMusic’s latest version fails to deliver consistent performance. The most absurd part is that these Spotify credentials work perfectly in older versions of BeMusic and in competitor scripts.
3️⃣ Clear Conclusion: Multiple BeMusic customers, including myself, have confirmed that the previous version of BeMusic works far better than the latest one. The search functionality, Similar Artists, and Radio features have all been impacted negatively by changes in the latest version. This suggests the issue is not with the Spotify API but with the recent updates made to BeMusic itself.
4️⃣ Our Server Environment: We are running the following infrastructure with Plesk on Ubuntu:
VPS 01: 12 vCores CPU, 24 GB RAM, 720 GB NVMe
VPS 02: 8 vCores CPU, 16 GB RAM, 480 GB NVMe
The server capacity is more than sufficient, and we’ve already tested the old and new versions of BeMusic side by side, confirming that the old version runs perfectly while the latest version encounters API errors, slow indexing, search issues, and missing results.
Please be transparent: Most of the key functionalities (like Similar Artists and Radio) are simply not available to new users unless they have the extended Spotify API created before November 25, 2024.

Similar artist and radio API’s are not available from spotify anymore, there’s not much that we can do about this unfortunately. This is unrelated to BeMusic version or API key type. Search should not be affected though.
Regarding API key, the 25 user limit refers to authenticated users only (eg. having “connect to spotify” button and managing user’s library on their behalf). BeMusic does not use this functionality, so there’s essentially no difference between development or extended API key.
We did not have anyone else report the issue with search and I can’t reproduce it, that is why I asked to create a ticket or send a message via contact form with your site url. It’s hard to say what is causing this exactly without taking a look at your installation.
Maybe it’s just me not knowing how to use the script properly, or maybe I’m talking to imaginary people. I’ve asked around personally and on forums—improvements seem to be on an indefinite vacation. It used to be solid, now it feels like it’s just coasting. Meanwhile, other options on CodeCanyon keep moving forward. Good luck!
