Hi, I really like your app, but I have some concerns about legal compliance regarding these three points:
1. Ads aren’t being shown within the YouTube embeds, so they’re being blocked.
2. The YouTube embed’s playback controls have been removed and replaced with a custom player.
3. The app doesn’t use the YouTube API, so the video IDs are likely being scraped/parsed automatically through a search.
Could you please explain how the app remains compliant with these elements ?

1. Ads are not blocked from BeMusic side, if they are not visible then they are hidden by youtube.
2. This is part of youtube embed functionality, it provides API for controlling video.
3. By default we use youtube search page, but you can enter API key as well.

Two things:
1) There is no changelog for the latest update?
2) On the demo there don’t seem to be any public playlists viewable for guests but when you search playlists they show up. According to guest permissions they should be able to see playlists yet the sidebar is empty for guests. Is this intended or am I missing something?

Hi, I set up Cloudflare R2 for user and public uploads with R2 Key, Secret, region (us-east-1), bucket name and endpoint but songs and images are not being uploaded to Bemusic and the bucket. Am I missing something?

Yes I selected Amazon S3 (Or compatible service for both. I’m able to upload songs to Bemusic but album & artist images are not uploading to the site and songs are not playing. When I check in R2 bucket I can see songs, album & artist images are already uploaded. And when I click on “Configure CORS” it says error, 404 forbidden, denied..

Yes, you can use proxy url if needed. It should not be necessary though.
Or you can enter youtube API key and use API instead.

You really need to increase the number of characters in the album descriptions, or put a plus button to display more text. Also set up a blog linked to the albums to improve SEO.

Youtube API is not used by default, searches are scrapped from youtube website directly.
Plays are via official youtube player embed so there’s no rate limit on it.
My bad but, I completely forgot how to activate “become an artist” link in this code for the users. I tried asigning artists role but it didnt do anything to the user profile. Please help!

I have a question which I think it’ll help a lot of people, I’ve tried both clouds options in the script but none of them work for the public uploads such as Audio Files, Video Files and co. And am using lytehosting and their highest hosting plan is 50GB and as for music streaming platforms the 50GB is nothing and I can’t think of what to do if I run out of space… The Spotify/YouTube API isn’t helping at all because users can’t navigate out of the platform else, the music will stop, what can we do in terms of this as a music streaming platform? Any Advice is acceptable from each & everyone!

Please add autoplay feature, when searching for a song, it stops after playing a single track.. recommended tracks should play automatically, that’s better
It should play the next track in the queue (on the right side) automatically. Does that not work?
I am talking about when a user played a single specific song after that player has been stopped because only a single track in queue in that case I recommend that some tracks like similar genres have to got played automatically
