How do we add shortcodes? I apply text block but I cannot edit via advanced option on the source code.
I was able to access in one point, if I only choose the ‘container’ section. I applied the shortcodes but none of them are working, tabs, tooltips etc… they are not working

Ok I got your reply, thanks. As far as I understand, we cannot add any shortcodes like previous versions of CMS Pro, no accordion, no dropdown, no tooltips, no tabs. And we are only limited with the blocks in the admin panel. And we will not be able to add simple basic paragraphs and texts within the blocks, we are limited with the block designs that only you put in the admin panel. These limits are not good to build a flexy website. For example, you put 6 divided sections in one block. What should we do if we need 8 or 9 or 12 sections? Hopefully future updates will handle these issues.

Hey Alex, I have trouble with uploading the main logo. It’s not working. I choose the logo img on configuration page. It displays ’?’ on the logo section.
And when I try to upload again the configuration page prompts ‘nothing to process’
and one more issue, I added secondary language. ( previously I downloaded the Turkish language pack ) Then I choose the secondary language as the main language on configuration page. After this when I refresh the page everything gone. Blank white screen. Also on the main view page goes to blank white screen.
then I rebuilt the site from zero, I deleted the config file, activate setup folder, now I’m at the beginning process. I cannot go on building other pages, I have to use secondary language that I added as primary.
one another question, on the live editor panel it only allows me to change text size up to limit 26 px. is there any other option to make it bigger, more than 26? and I tried also to change the theme color via admin page. Unfortunately it’s still the previous primary theme color.
I have previously purchased visual forms module. How do we install it? On the utilities section I tried to upload the zip file that I downloaded via code canyon. It prompts ‘cannot open zip file’. Is this not the way? how do we use the utilities menu to install and use modules?
ok I instictly installed visual forms via old method. Now it’s ok. But I have issues with editing pages via live editor. How do we basically insert heading and paragraphs within the block? Live editor does not allow me insert sections into blocks. But in the sample data there are sections /as mentioned on the content tree on the left side of the editor. Also how do we modify and edit the buttons? I am clicking the button but there are no options to input actions to buttons like inserting a link to the buttons. I checked the video tutorial via Helpdesk, but its for the previous version of cmspro. Is there any other tutorial for the new version?

How do we change the blocks order on the live editor? I remember in the previous version we were able to change the order of the blocks.

Menu problem: when I resize the page the menu content makes two blocks, but submenus are not accessible.
Also when I resize the browser to the smaller amount mobile menu appears, ok, but when I resize the browser back to the bigger state, the menu goes crazy, all buttons looks like hovered.
the user must have to reload the page to access the proper menu. And also hover state is not working on the sub sub menu. It works only on submenus.
the menu issue also exists even I do not resize the browser. I click the other menu items, and menu goes crazy, all menu items becomes hovered and activated weirdly.
But currently my urgent issues are, 1) Change theme color / I also edited the color.css via my colors. But its still the same with previous color. 2) Edit blocks, add text sections 3) Change the logo These are primary issues and I have to fix it as soon as possible, thanks in advance.

Ok so I upgraded to built it with the last version of cmspro. I uploaded necessary files, now I can login to admin page. But content button does not work. Only membership and users buttons are working and directing to the page. Also nothing happens when I push the configuration button. Nothing happens. What’s my issue? thanks in advance.

now I understand the issue. I have upgraded my php version, its ok now but on the other hand I have a big big trouble, my other page is running previous version of cmspro so when I upgrade my php version on the server, the previous version stops running. Only it shows the homepage. the other content pages comes empty. Is it possible to fix this?

Our website is currently using v5.10. Is it a simple and smooth upgrade to the current version v6.20?
You can upgrade of course, but due to de completely different structure, you would have to modify your pages html structure. Also none of the user passwords will work, since a new hashing algorithm is used. Each user would need to perform password reset. What I would suggest is installing the latest version first, and afterwards, just recreate your pages, and the rest of the content.

You could have said “in Advanced, the HTML Mode will be enabled for certain containers” as I was trying to look for the HTML Editor for everything.

Current themes are not compatible with the latest version of cms pro. They are in the process of being converted. Each theme brings something different. As far as the slider goes, you can create any type of layout including images, text, icons . you have full access to html
