Rest api used in this project ?

Sorry Smart Hospital currently doesn’t have any API module, however you can use Smart Hospital Android App (with Smart Hospital) which comes with patient panel related APIs.

I mean this system use RESTful principles ? Http request Response json or xml format ?

Smart Hospital and Smart Hospital Android App API built on php codeigniter 3 framework. Smart Hospital Android App API uses http methods like get, post, put and send response in json format.

After Upgrading my system to Version 5, in the Human Resource Staff section, updating the User Role does not work. I’ve tried it countless times. So if user logs in they’ll see a blank dashboard and cannot use the system. Please this is a bug and how can I fix it. When I want to generate bill for pharmacy it asked to choose batch number , I don’t know from where I can add the batch number

In the Smart Hospital, the batch number is added while purchasing medicine in the pharmacy module, so when you generate a pharmacy bill for the medicines, you can select this batch number from the dropdown for generating the bill, and further, if you are facing any issue with this, then you should contact our support.

Add option for bed transfer system so that from one ward transfer request to other ward and wen patient shift other ward staff accept that patient recieved from one ward

Add initial assessment of the patient Also add mark for discharge or patient will be having discharge plan

Add drug request system from ward to pharmacy by the staff nurse and also the return request to be added

Add mark for discharge and to send for final billing so that pending things to be seen and to handle that then patient can be discharged

Is it possible, in the upcoming update concerning the Referral Payment module, to add a feature that allows the commission amount to be automatically deducted from the patient’s bill?

Currently, when adding a Referral Payment through the Referral module by clicking on the +Add Referral Payment button, it is possible to enter the Patient, Patient Type, Bill No/Case ID, Patient Bill Amount, Payee, Commission Percentage (%), Commission Amount, and then click on the Save button.

However, I noticed that the bill amount displayed remains the same and does not reflect the deducted commission, which can be confusing. It would be ideal if the displayed amount directly showed the applied deduction for better visibility and transparency.

I have a few important questions and suggestions regarding your system:

TPA Integration with Pharmacy Module – Can you confirm if the Third-Party Administrator (TPA) is integrated with the pharmacy module?

Can i Apply TPA to Pharmacy? This is a crucial feature for us.

Analytics Dashboard – Does your system include an analytics dashboard that allows us to analyze performance based on date, year, and time? Ideally, the dashboard should allow users to change the month, year, or specific dates to track and compare performance over previous years and months.

OPD Module Display – In the OPD module, it would be better to display only the patients for the current day rather than including previous days’ records. This change is essential for better usability—please consider implementing it.

Report Accuracy & Filters – I noticed that the report generation feature lacks precise search functionality. The report generator should allow users to filter data by date, time, and year to ensure accurate reporting.

Search Functionality in Modules – It would be highly beneficial to add search buttons at the top of key sections such as OPD, IPD, Radiology, Pathology, and other relevant areas. This would make it easier to find patient visits based on specific dates.

1. Sorry, but currently at this time, only OPD and IPD are connected to TPA; the other modules are not. TPA has been included in the blood bank, pathology, and radiology modules in the upcoming update , but it has not yet been added to the pharmacy. The Smart Hospital upgrade is expected to be released in March 2025. With this update, we will try to integrate TPA into the pharmacy as well in the meantime.

If a pateint go see the same doctor within a week. That patient does not have to pay a new consultation the second time (if within the same week of course). How can the app automaticlally calculate when entering a consultation if that patient deserve fare free price?

Unfortunately, currently there is no direct option available for this. However, you can create charges for this, like in the OPD consultation fees charge type. You can create a consultation fee of $200 and a revisit fee of $0, so when a patient comes for the first time in your Smart Hospital, then you can choose consultation fees in charges, and when patients come again within a week, then you can choose revisit in the charges dropdown, which amounts to $0 (free). Also, we cannot confirm but will try to add this option in upcoming future updates of Smart Hospital. Two factor authentication and Biometric Attendance for staff users features are in our plan and probably will include in upcoming update of Smart Hospital but as you mentioned ” Biometric patient identification” we are unable to understand it exactly so please explain us in details with workflow, use case and examples so we can understand and further will try to assist you with it.

This technology helps ensure that medical care is provided to the right individuals, reduces the risk of duplicate medical records, and combats identity theft in the healthcare industry.

Hello, 2 questions: 1) If the patient wants to book an appointment but pay offline when arriving at the hospital, the system does not allow the appointment to be confirmed if the patient does not pay online. Can this be changed so that the appointment can be seen and confirmed from the backend even if it is not paid?

2) Is it possible for the patient to register from the frontend but without having to book an appointment (i.e. just register) and the account can be left in “pending approval” to then be manually approved from the backend?

1. Sorry but admin can not see pending online appointments because appointments booked from patients panel are based on slot so without payment they can not be booked or approved. If we allow pending appointments to see and approve from admin panel then that particular time slot will be engaged without payment.

Appointments created from patient panel can approved after online payment because its time slot based booking. Without payment appointment should be book from admin panel.

However we will try to add a option in upcoming updates of Smart Hospital, so appointment can be seen and confirmed from the backend even if it is not paid.

2. Also currently here is no option aviliable for the patient to register from the frontend but without having to book an appointment (i.e. just register), however we will try to add it in upcoming updates of Smart Hospital.
