Yes, you can change the date format. Please follow the steps below:
In your default template, change the Date Format from Default to Custom, as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/MVozj1XocFCh Then go to Events → Settings → Date & Time. From there, you can set the date format according to your requirement. Hi, thank you very much, I tried it, but instead of the Y F d., the modul loads the full moth name + day + start and end time of the event. Another question, that is it possible to have uncropped images? We started to use squared images, but the module cut these in case of some screen sizes. Thank you very much.

Could you please share screenshots of the changes where you applied Y F d and changed the date format of the shortcode from default to custom, as shown earlier? Also, please include the output you are currently getting. This will help us better understand why the output is still not appearing as expected. Secondly, you can use both cropped and uncropped images. The template automatically picks the image size according to the design.

Hello, Long time ago, I bought this plugin. Events Shortcodes in my envato account is still version 3.2.1 from 20 november 2024. The plugin hasn’t been updated and it’s breaking the site with cache problem. Meanwhile, there is version 3.3, 3.4 et 3.5. Can you update this plugin on my or your envato or themeforest account ? See changelog now version 3.5.0 from 22 August 2025. You need to correct the last update date which is not 21 November 2024 but 22 August 2025. Thanks, Regards, Delvasse

We use the plugin here: https://klauzalhaz.hu/The general concept of the theme enables to use 4:3 fixed aspect ratio for the images, which is great to cut the images only ones and know the fixed, right result, without half / cutted faces etc.
Please be so kind and let me know, how can I setup also for the Event carousel module? Because currently, based on the screen sizes, the images are cutted and the result sometime is very wrong.

Hi, Okay and how can I use the shortoced dinamically for the category pages? I mean, as template for each category page, where the shortcode load the concrete category of each category page. In documentation I found only the all and the concrete category option, but I need the currenr or actual or something like this, because we have a lot of category pages and we need a general solution, instead of the generating these manually (and modify these manually in case of any change). I use this: [ect-calendar-layout date-format=”M D” show-category-filter=”true” limit=”60”] and I would like to setup just something like in the default calendar of the events calendar plugin, there are event titles and also featured images in the calendar. 3. It is a very big problem, because wee need to show ticket information (price) on the website, but also need very clear link to the external ticket selling service. I mean, it is a very common situation. For us would be also great quick solution to add the event website link to all of the shortcodes, feeds, carousels etc. as “Buy ticket” link (open in new windows) and It would be also important to show the ticket price info. It would be anought to cover the most important issues. Can you help us to reach these? Another question to the documentation, that we have common information block about the actors in case of the events. Is there any option to add new / fix block to the events for this information and use this block / fileds also in the shortcodes or in the single event page? Thank you.
Hi, Another issue is, that we will have also recurring events and we would like to list these also in daily basis, monday events, etc. for every day of the week. Is it possible with your shortcodes? It woudl be also enougt to have shortcode for example monday recurring events etc. and in this case we only need 7 shortcodes for the week. Thank you!

My only question is, that how can I limit in the shortcode the recurring events and show from these only one example? I mean, currently the shortcode lists for example all of the Monday events, but also all of the recurring events, which is very disturbing and result very long list. Thank you very much.

I’m feeling very confused. This seems like a totally different plugin than I bought. I just tried to upgrade it on one of my client sites, and it crashed the website. Both my clients with this plugin show version 2.4.4, but I don’t even see that version in your ChangeLog.
