There is a bug in your script. If I disable ‘Automatically approve new members after registration’ then ‘Auto-Approved eBooks’ is not working for existing approved users. I want to disable ‘Automatically approve new members after registration’ for new user, and enable auto approve ebooks for approved existing users.

This is not a bug; these two functionalities are entirely separate and operate independently of each other.
If “Auto-Approved eBooks” is enabled, all users (both existing and newly registered) can submit books without requiring admin approval.
If “Auto-Approved eBooks” is disabled, all users (both existing and newly registered) will require admin approval to submit books.
The “Auto-Approved eBooks” feature is not connected to or reliant on the “Automatically approve new members after registration” setting.

Yes, you are right. But it is not working. Please disable “Automatically approve new members after registration”, and try uploading the ebook from another account. Then you will notice that Show “Auto-Approved eBooks” is not working.
