And also, Is there any legal implications for providing streaming of top artistes songs without remitting royalties ? Spotify API is used for metadata only (artists, tracks, artwork etc.), automated music is streaming is done using Youtube embeds.

On Desktop, Search preview results show in different order than the Search page itself. It seems inconsistent from user experience perspective. Can you please fix it to have same order.

Ideally people would most search by order – Tracks, Albums, Artists.

This is expected if automation is enabled and site has been running for a while. It should not increase by much more though as that’s about how many unique tracks there are on spotify.
Hi. Thank you for the reply.. I have for now turned off automation as database is getting out of hand tbh.. now showing 10.6 Gig in size, thats a very large jump. tracks table also reports an error when trying to import, had to get host to do via SSH. I tried importing the database on a test site with MyOOSDumper and it always fails when it comes to ” tracks table ”.. Had to use a test site as MyOOSDumper would not work with BeMusic installed..?

Hello Vebto, these bugs have already been fixed in previous versions, but they should not have been applied permanently because they keep happening again:
1. The modals when deleting content do not close by themselves, they have to be closed manually even if the content has been deleted.
2. Similar songs do not work, the radio button shows 0 results.
3. The songs that are shown have the date they were indexed on the platform, but they do not show the date the song was released. (I don’t know if this is possible)

Youtube requires premium subscription for background playback. Custom uploaded tracks should play in background properly though.

i got this to work with music and music videos with a easy modify custumizing, really nice script! but when is total downloads coming so total plays and total downloads can be accessed as you promised me months ago <3 also listning history and add download history is a high reqested feature

Listening history is available already under user library. Total plays can be seen in statistics page as well. We’ve no ETA for downloads tracking yet though.

1. What payment gateways are supported? 2. Search function seems limited, any way to have this a more advanced search feature with filters (song length, category, etc) 3. I read download per album is disabled, is that correct? What options are there for user to download more than one song at a time? Can it be added to playlist or cart of some type?

1. Paypal and Stripe are supported by default. 2. Not currently. 3. Currently only single song can be downloaded, we should have album download with next update though.
Ever since I updated to the newest update it has caused API errors left and right with spotify. The app can only load music that was already installed to the server. It can no longer search for music.

HLS is supported. You can simply paste a link to hls stream, same as regular mp3/mp4 link.
Which version is the latest and what type of fixes or changes (changelog doesn’t say) I have had some breaking problems updating lately so need to make sure that your updates don’t interfere with existing setup…

Other updates only correct some issues with installation, there’s no changelog entry for them.

I no longer have access to the admin area since I upgraded from version 2.5.2 to 3.1.2. My homepage is not showing anymore. Looks like my admin user is now a normal user. How can I get my privileges back ? I can fix the homepage since I don’t have permission.
It is resolved now. I made a fresh install, and did a comparison of the menu configuration. The menu is stored in the table settings, the name of the setting is menu. I noticed that the ‘Admin Sidebar’ and ‘Auth Dropdown’ were missing. I added the missing parts to my configuration. It is working now. I assusme that the menu might have been upgraded incorrectly. Thanks for the support.
Whatever I do, Spotify API Error. I created a new account via VPN, I made new applications, nothing helps. Automation no longer works at all. The search does not find any tracks.

Feature request: Can you add support for short videos like YouTube shorts, fb, Instagram shorts to be added as short music videos? This will enable users to hook to the site. There are many short videos having million plus views.

I see that the app has changed a bit in the few months I’ve been away.
I’ve just been testing it for a while now and I’ve noticed that the sound from YouTube in the app is worse than when I go To YouTube and is played directly from YouTube. In the application the sound is quieter and less dynamic, less bass.

Hi, please tell me why I can’t display the “Similar Artists” tab via the settings in the admin panel. My actions: 1. On the “Settings” page, I select “Player” 2. Then I select the “Artist Page” tab 3. I enable the “Similar Artists” checkbox 4. I save the settings.
After that, I go to the Artist page, refresh the page and don’t see the “Similar Artists” tab enabled. It is on the demo site. Tell me what’s wrong? And also, I can’t create a ticket because the support time has expired.
