We’re encountering an issue with Instagram OAuth login that was resolved previously (April 2024) but has resurfaced. Users can go through the entire process of connecting their Instagram accounts (clicking “Connect with Instagram,” accepting all permissions, and linking to Facebook), but after completing the steps, their Instagram accounts do not appear under the “Add Instagram Accounts” section. It’s just empty everytime. This is affecting all users.

We haven’t updated our app for a while, but we are currently on version 8.0.8, with Facebook API at version 18 and the app settings API at version 16. The version 16 routes to version 18 during the OAuth process, and these settings worked fine back in April 2024. The issue began about a month ago.

We’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting IG accounts at the business center and manually removing IG accounts from the business portfolio and reconnecting them, but it hasn’t fixed the problem. Could you provide any insights or documentation to help us resolve this?

Hello I got an email about your update on 25th September in my Gmail and today I decided to update the STACKPOST application I discovered this statement “DO NOT update the latest version if your current version is too old from 2 versions. Please contact us to get more assistance. Example: Don’t update version 8.1.0 to 8.1.3”

Checking my current stack post version on my server I notice it is version 8.1.4 and was uploaded March 21 2024. And the new version on codecanyon is 8.2.0 is it that the previous once where never uploaded to codecanyon? Has your document stated I shouldn’t update with such gap in versions. This is why I am contacting you with the updating of the current stackpost on my server. Also there seems to be no special document for we that want to update to the latest version of the software. Thanks

Another thing to look at the RSS feed only posts to the Facebook page it does not post to Instagram or Twitter, as it seems individual Facebook posting is not allowed on the platform as well, you cannot post directly or use RSS to post to your Facebook account. Is this a glitch or what? was not like this when I bought the application and the Facebook profile is still connected to the application but will not post, why?

Regarding Facebook profile posting feature, Meta Official hasn’t supported this permission so far.

Why aren’t you responding on Skype and via email? I already told you about the issue I’ve been facing since the last update.
