We have carefully followed all the instructions provided by your team to integrate Zoom for live classes on our LMS. Unfortunately, despite completing the setup as outlined, students are still unable to attend the live sessions for the Bootcamps they have purchased.

This is a serious concern, especially considering that the live class feature is one of the main reasons we opted for your script and invested in the Zoom integration addon. At this point, it feels as though we’re being pushed toward paying for support just to get basic functionality working, something we believe should be operational out of the box, especially after following the provided guidance.

We respectfully request a clear response on the following: 1. Can your team assist us in getting the Zoom live class addon working as intended, without further charges? 2. If additional steps are required that were not included in the original instructions, please share those with us urgently. 3. If the addon is known to require manual adjustments beyond standard setup, kindly confirm that too.

We are committed to offering live classes through our LMS and this functionality is critical to our operations. Your immediate assistance will be appreciated.

I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to ask if this addon has been updated to work with the current Zoom Apps, as JWT apps are no longer supported. Could you please update the documentation to reflect any changes?

I’m encountering the “Signature is invalid” error, which has been reported by several customers. However, I haven’t seen any posts marked as resolved or any responses indicating that the issue has been fixed.

Although my support has expired, I’d be happy to renew it if this issue is likely to be addressed. We’ve been really happy with Academy overall, and this extension is the only drawback we’ve encountered so far.

When I create the app this issue appear

The Zoom Apps platform enforces a subset of the OWASP recommendations. The https MIME type text/html response from your server for the app’s home URL must be decorated with security headers recommended by the OWASP Secure Headers Project. The Zoom client validates all document (MIME type text/html) responses with a 200 status code for the presence of OWASP Secure Headers. Ensure that your app backend decorates its html responses with the following headers:

Strict-Transport-Security X-Content-Type-Options Content-Security-Policy Referrer-Policy

IMPORTANT: Any home URL response missing these headers will cause your app to be blocked from rendering in the Zoom Apps embedded browser. Any html request without these headers will not be parsed or rendered, and displays a console error (Missing OWASP Secure Headers:) listing any missing headers.

You just need to create a Meeting SDK app. Zoom approval is not required for personal use. Also, you have to use your personal meeting ID and password.

has anyone been able to use this addon v1.7.1?

I get these errors: Invalid parameters and Signature is invalid. I have use server to server option, meeting sdk and it just does not work.

Please follow the instructions to solve your issue:

1. Make sure that you have configured your Zoom settings in your Course Creator account. (Meeting ID, Meeting Password, Client ID, Client Secret)

2. Use Meeting SDK keys for the Client ID and Client Secret: https://marketplace.zoom.us/develop/createLegacy from here.

3. Also, you have to use the Meeting ID, Meeting Password, Client ID, and Client Secret from the same account.

I HAVE BIG ISSUES WITH THE ZOOM LIVE ADDON. I already submitted a ticket and still waiting for a response. I need assistance! Otherwise I will request a refund for both the academy lms and the zoom addon. I need to work with zoom live classes. But it is not working… I have tried a lot of things and nothing happens. I get the same error everytime.

Please follow the instructions:

I just followed these instructions and I got the same result: Signature is invalid. I already followed the email instructions and I got the same error. Is that hard to just record your screen and setup a zoom meeting SDK from scracth and connect it to the zoom add on and show me how easy it is to do it? As I mentioned before: Do not get me wrong. I love the system LMS and the addon but I can not us it. I paid for it and does not work. Please do something. Thank you!

I have installed the ‘live class’ add on but I am unable to find the ‘zoom settings’ option under the settings tab although I installed and uninstalled this add on a few times and have never been able to use it successfully. I followed all the steps to make sure everything is up to date but I still had no success. I purchased this about a year ago but this is my first time trying to use this but it’s a shame I didn’t check before I purchased. Now if I need help I am being asked to renew support. Please advise as I have wasted too much time on this. Thanks

Thanks for sharing your experience. We don’t know why you are facing this problem. Please configure your Meeting SDK credentials properly, as well as your meeting ID and password.

As you know I am not the only one facing issues. There are others in these comments facing the same issues. This is clearly not a problem that I am only facing myself but a problem that everyone else is facing. Could you please fix the issue and provide us with proper documentation on how to configure this add on properly. The information you provided isn’t adequate and doesn’t work.

Hi, I purchased your script but have not downloaded it yet. I am considering asking for a refund as the platform does not have the requirements I need. I have noticed that several users have also asked for functionality for a single trainer and/or single course. These are currently my needs as well. Please tell me if you are considering implementing this capability and when it might be available?
