Hi! Although I tried to see a concrete demo, I couldn’t, on your website.

In any case, I want to know if I can have the questions grouped by category and have a quiz page where I have random questions from each category but a maximum of 30 questions on the quiz page. With each refresh of the page, I have other questions (also a maximum of 30). At the end, are the correct answers displayed and especially a score of correct answers? Thank you!

Hi! Thank you for your interest in the plugin Unfortunately the plugin is not able to do that, it’s not possible to group questions by category. Sorry for the limitation. Greetings, Carlos

Hello,

1 – I am NOT using WooCommerce at all. Want to use my quizzes inside pages only. Is this plugin suitable for me? 2 – Are the quizzes “embedded” into the page and can be answered & get results without leaving the page? 3 – Can we make for example “Are you a paranoid person?” kind of quiz and assign weight points to answers, than display different text results depending on the total number of points (Points 1-15: You are not paranoid at all 16-30 You are somehow paranoid 31-45 You are definitely paranoid)? Thank you in advance.

Hi! Yes, it’s possible. You can create ‘personality’ quizzes and place them on your WordPress pages. The quiz will run on the same page. Greetings, Carlos

Can we use as paid quiz?

Hi! If you get the extended license, you can have the quiz behind a paywall, yes. But that’s not a feature of the plugin itself. Greetings, Carlos

Hi cmoreira,

I have a question before I buy.

in your demo “Find your perfect gift” you ask for name, telephone, email etc. Can this step be omitted?

The result is part of your quiz. Instead, is it possible to link to a certain page and show the results in my own loop (e.g. post module of wpbakery)?

Can I combine the layouts (presentation, image grid, minimal) and choose one of the layouts für each question?

Thanks in advance, kasenga

Hi! Thank you for your interest in the plugin.

Yes, it’s possible to disable the form that asks for user details before the results.

The personality, count and trivia quiz types allow you to set URLs for the user to be redirected depending on results, so you could link to a custom page.

The same layout will be applied to all the quiz. However, if you have the image grid layout and you don’t have images, the questions will still display.

Greetings, Carlos

Thanks a lot for your reply. I’ll buy it now. :)

is user can pay for the quiz ?

Hi! The plugin itself does not have that feature, you would have to use a different plugin to probably have a paywall for the page where the quiz is. Greetings, Carlos

Hello! I want some of the answers to show at 2 or 4 columns instead of 3, is it possible?

Hi! You would need custom css to achieve that. Write us using the contact author option in the support tab, sharing the link to your quiz and we can give some css examples to will work with your setup. Greetings, Carlos

Is there any chance you could implement a webhook for the email option?

Lots more email choices out there since this was released so catching them aall will be a challenge.

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Adding a webhook is not on our plans, but for sure we’ll improve the regex to validate the email, since like you mentioned, our version is indeed outdated. We will improve it in the next release, sorry for the limitation. Greetings, Carlos

Hi there! On results page, the class .advq_correct_count appear twice, same the results. how to remove one of them? thx!

Hi! Can you share the link to your page so we can check? If you prefer you can send us the URL using the ‘contact author’ in the support tab.

This looks great and I’m seriously considering purchasing. However, I’m confused about setting up recommendations and the logic build.

Essentially, I want to ask questions that help a participant figure out what generic product type and specs would work for their needs. The suggestions would NOT be specific products on the BigCommerce side of our site, NOR would they be articles in our WordPress blog (ie not linking to existing pages/posts).

I don’t see any screenshots for how to build the decision tree of questions and filters or how to assign suggestions (one or more). The suggestions would be barebones generic product profiles, reference image(s), additional text and maybe internal links to category pages.

Hi! From what you describe the closest would be a ‘personality’ quiz, where the possible ‘profile’ results would be the product types. Each answer would give or take weight to each possible result. The questions can display depending on a previous answer, with just one condition. The plugin is not able to create complex conditional rules, it would be a simple personality quiz. I can share a demo if you use the ‘contact author’ option in the support tab. Greetings, Carlos

Hello was wondering where automatic updates are. This is a great quiz program, I like the features and it works well, however it does not have any updates feature. I am thinking it needs an update as my version is at 1.8.6.3 and your changelog is talking about a version 1.9 but the plugin does not know there is an update and when I go to documentation, the indicated method is not there for my plugin. there is no registration or license section under settings.

Hi! Sorry for the limitation. Right now the best way to enable automatic updates is to use the envato market plugin: https://envato.github.io/wp-envato-market/

Hi, will the plugin be php 8.3 ready any time some. Currently it produces so many deprecated warnining to my log files.

Hi! The latest v.1.9.2 should work better with PHP 8.2+ Greetings, Carlos

Hi, is there a demo available where the ‘Scroll to next question’ option is active so I can check it out?

Hi! We don’t have a demo online, but write us using the contact author option requesting a demo and we’ll follow up using email. Greetings, Carlos

Hi guys, I’ve iplemented a personality quiz and in some cases the user collect the same points for 2 profile. So the results are (for example) profile A and profile B. How can I restrict to only 1 result every time? Thank you very much

Hi! Try adding this to the custom JS:
var advQuizTies = false;

Hi guys, I see that in your plugin settings there is the possibility to connect the final registration form to Aweber and Mailchimp. Is there a way to connect it to Brevo too? Maybe with a workaround?

Hi! Unfortunately not, at the moment it’s only possible to integrate with those 2 tools. Other integrations would require custom coding. Sorry for the limitation.

Can people be redirected to another page after they finish the Trivia?

Yes, they can be redirected to a different URL, yes. The ‘feedback’ entries have a ‘redirect url’ option. Greetings, Carlos

Hi, I have your plugin on a site with BeTheme and WPML. I’ve inserted a quiz into a Muffin popup: it works in italian but in english language when i click on an answare nothing happen. Can you help me?

Hi! The quizzes shouldn’t be translated with wpml, you should replicate the quiz in the other language, so you have 2 shortcodes. Could that be the issue? Greetings, Carlos

Hi Carlos, We saw that there is no way to translate your quizzes with WPML and we had already created a new quiz (so it is already 2 different shortcodes)... It could be some javascript setting that conflicts with WPML or with the betheme popup?

If you’re placing the quiz inside a popup, it could be because of that. Try outside the popup and make sure there’s only 1 shortcode rendering on that page. Greetings, Carlos

Hello. Are you planning to add a leaderboard functionality?

Hi! Unfortunately not, it’s not in our plans to add that feature, sorry for the limitation. Greetings, Carlos

is there a way to force users to share on fb before seeing results?

Unfortunately not, this is not possible. Greetings, Carlos

results dont appear on og description any idea why? https://www.colorpsychology.org/blog/quiz-whats-your-aura-color/

Hi! When using the generated results link: https://www.colorpsychology.org/blog/quiz-whats-your-aura-color/?qid=4753qrprofile_1709757676 it will have the results in the og:description, but there is another og:description being generated, so some socials might pick the other one. We use some filters to try and remove duplicated descriptions, but we’re not able to intercept all.

How can i build a quiz based on majority of answers? How can you use your plugin to build a quiz with “majority of answers A”, “majority of answers B”...?

I thought so too. However, how can I calculate the scores of the questions to create 3 answer ranges?

In the personality quiz type you can create different ‘profiles’ for the results. So you would have profile A, profile B, profile C.. Then on each answer, they would add +1 to the corresponding profile. Greetings, Carlos

Damn… I didn’t realize that the operation was much simpler than I thought. Thank you very much for your answer.
