I have purchased this plugin 6 months ago but couldn’t use it for several reasons.
1. There must be settings based on the steps. Reasons : a. RAM can be multiple, CPU can’t. FAN can be multiple but PSU can’t. b. we would like to offer additional products as offers but optional. Like Gaming mouse, monitor etc. c. Some chassis’ have already PSU inside. If we add each step as must, then user must buy Chassis with PSU and another PSU in next step. If PSU can be optional, they don’t have to buy PSU. They call it scenarios in woocommerce composite products. It is like : If chassis has PSU Watt attribute, don’t show PSU step. 2. Hidden products must not shown in steps, yet they shown. 3. Default behavior should be show “in stock” products. No need to show out of stocks or other products. 4. Depend feature should work as AND instead of OR. Or we should be able to select. (automatewoo gives this option for example)

How do I disable select/add to cart before choosing an option like colour, or size? By default, it lets you add the products in the builder without selecting any option, and when you click add to cart, the cart page shows the error “Please choose product options by visiting {Product Name and Url}”.
It would be great to mistake-proof this for the users from the start so they don’t have to go back and have to choose everything all over again.

2. For now this feature is not available, but we’ll take it into consideration for future updates.

As for the external/affiliate products, unfortunately, our plugin does not support these types of products, and this functionality is not available in the premium version either.

I’m using Version 2.2.7, and the “Depend” feature no longer works. I’m not sure which version broke it, as I didn’t pay attention, but I only found out today that it’s no longer functioning. When I select an Intel processor with an LGA 1700 socket, it no longer filters the motherboard results for that socket. Instead, it now shows all motherboards available in my store, regardless of what is set in the socket attribute. I have not changed any of my settings, and it was working fine in the past. Are you aware of this issue, and what is being done to address it?

It could be a new plugin/addon you install or update recently, would you mind taking the following troubleshooting steps:
– Temporarily switch to one of our default themes, such as Storefront, to ensure that this isn’t a theme compatibility issue. Once you switch themes, does everything function as expected?
– If not and we can rule out the theme compatibility issue, we also recommend deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce and our plugin to see if this resolves the issue at that point. If it does, then you would need to activate each plugin, one at a time, to see if you can find the conflicting extension/plugin.

It’s not working for me. I selected an Intel i3-12100F processor with the ‘LGA 1700 CPU’ attribute for the ‘Socket,’ as shown here: https://snipboard.io/XabtqA.jpg . It’s not a conflict because I was able to get it to work again once I reverted to version 2.2.5. I’ll stick with this version until the issue is fixed with a new update. Please look into this. Thank you.

Since our new versions from 2.2.5 -> 2.2.7 was mainly updated to work with new updates of WordPress and WooCommerce, so if your site has not these cores updated, or have some changes from the 3rd party which may cause the conflict.

I understand. But all the products that your plugin uses are products published with WooCommerce, right? Therefore, if my WooCommerce is connected to an ERP where it modifies the stock, prices, among other details, your plugin would not be affected since this would only update the product information in the WooCommerce post. Am I explaining well?
As far as I understand from your description, it seems that the core functionality of our plugin should not be affected by updates made through your ERP system, as long as these updates are reflected in WooCommerce.

I just bought and start testing on staging site, there are 2 issues. 1. It should show only “in stock” products. But it show all other custom stock statuses. (PS: I have EOL product status. Since PC parts keep getting old quickly, EOL products are not listed on website, can’t be add to car. So plugin should show only in stock products as default.) 2. Depend function doesn’t go with AND and AND order. CPU and MB match based on depend. But it shows DDR4 and DDR5 RAM’s in the 3rd step. It is not logical.
MB support DDR4 RAM. It has ram type attribute : DDR4 Ram is ddr5. It has It has ram type attribute : DDR5
But I can see the DDR5 ram in the list.

I have a computer case that supports multiple motherboard attribute values. How can I use the “depends” feature to link the matched motherboards to the case? I realise I can select the attribute but what do I do with multiple values in an attribute?

With this Depend feature, you create a seamless link between the computer case and supported motherboards. This means that when customers select a specific attribute in Case step, they will only see compatible options which have the same attribute value in the Motherboard step.
E.g. you selected a case with brand (attribute) Cooler Master, then in step Motherboard, you’ll only see options which have this brand

Thank you, I understand that. My problem is that the case might have an attribute with Cooler Master, Asus, etc (ie. multiple values). So I need it to recognise multiple values inside an attribute when filtering the motherboard. Is that possible?
In the concept that you want to make the Motherboard step depend on the Case step by the attribute: When you use the Depend feature, it’ll show the products in step Motherboard that share the selected attribute value from step Case, based on the specified attribute (e.g., ‘Brand’). This means if your customer selects a case with the attribute value “Asus” >> plugin will only show motherboards with the attribute value “Asus” in the Motherboard step
This ensures that the customer, having chosen a specific attribute value (e.g., ‘Red’) for the product in the initial step, will only see products in the dependent step with the corresponding attribute value (‘Red’).”
Dear Villatheme, will the upcoming release for this plugin make it possible to actually configure a real PC? I’m still missing features that make this plugin unfortunately a bit useless for configuring PC’s at this moment. The motherboard attributes should be fully leading when selecting other products: how many memory you can add; how many harddrive slots etc. Right now it still shows incompatible configurations. I understand the feature, but that feature doesn’t account for the number of slots for memory, for instance it might support dual SSD, maybe dual graphical card, etc. Ideally it should also make sure you have a strong enough power supply. These are the limitations at this point I think. Hope you can implement this feature, thanks
